A child restraint includes a seat foundation and a juvenile seat including a seat back fixed to the seat foundation for movement therewith and a seat bottom coupled to the seat back. The seat foundation is adapted to rest on a vehicle seat. The juvenile seat is supported by the seat foundation on the vehicle seat.

Provided is a child safety seat, comprising a seat body and a five-point safety belt disposed on the seat body, wherein the seat body comprises a housing, the five-point safety belt comprises a safety belt buckle, and the housing is internally provided with a storage slot used for storing the safety belt buckle; the seat body further comprises a head support assembly disposed on the housing in a sliding up and down manner, the head support assembly having a predetermined position; when the safety belt buckle is placed in the storage slot, the head support assembly is allowed to be higher than the predetermined position; according to the child safety seat, the five-point safety belt or a car safety belt can be correspondingly selected for use based on the size of a child, and the height of a head support can be adjusted in a corresponding range.

A backrest locking mechanism adapted for a backrest and a base of a child safety seat is provided. The backrest locking mechanism includes a locking pin, a locking component and an operating component. The locking pin is disposed on the base. The locking component is disposed on the backrest. A locking hole structure is formed on the locking component. The locking pin is configured to detachably engage with the locking hole structure. The operating component is movably disposed on the backrest or the base. The operating component drives the locking pin and the locking hole structure to engage with or disengage from each other when the operating component is operated. Besides, a child safety seat including the aforementioned backrest locking mechanism is provided.

A portable companion technology kit for use in with a child seat is provided which includes a holder for a smart device which may be attached to a flexible support art which may be mounted to the seat portion of a child seat to allow for hands free and secure use of the smart device. As part of the kit, a rechargeable battery power pack with the necessary connections and USB ports is included and may be mounted on the bottom, side or back of a child seat for recharging the smart device. Such devices may be used with children with disabilities, attention disorders, sensory disorders, etc. where use of such devices assist in calming a child suffering from a disability.

Provided is a child safety seat, comprising a seat body and a five-point safety belt disposed on the seat body, wherein the seat body comprises a housing (1), the five-point safety belt comprises a safety belt buckle (2), and the housing is internally provided with a storage slot (11) used for storing the safety belt buckle (2); the seat body further comprises a head support assembly (3) disposed on the housing (1) in a sliding up and down manner, the head support assembly having a predetermined position; when the safety belt buckle (2) is placed in the storage slot (11), the head support assembly (3) is allowed to be higher than the predetermined position; according to the child safety seat, the five-point safety belt or a car safety belt can be correspondingly selected for use based on the size of a child, and the height of a head support can be adjusted in a corresponding range.

In at least one embodiment, an adjustable child restraint system is provided. The system may include a base portion, a child retaining portion, a sensor, and a controller operatively connected to the base portion and/or the child retaining portion, the controller for operating movement of the base portion and/or the child retaining portion, in some embodiments. The crotch belt positioner can be adjusted into multiple positions along the seat bottom. Adjusting the crotch belt positioner from a first position to a second position can adjust at least one of the length of the crotch belt webbing that extends about the top surface of the seat bottom and the position that the relational position that the crotch belt webbing extends up through crotch belt positioner with respect to the seat bottom.

The backrest locking mechanism includes a locking pin, a locking component and an operating component. The locking pin is disposed on the backrest. The locking component is disposed on the base. A locking hole structure is formed on the locking component. The locking pin is configured to detachably engage with the locking hole structure. The operating component is movably disposed on the backrest or the base. The operating component drives the locking pin and the locking hole structure to engage with or disengage from each other when the operating component is operated. Furthermore, a child safety seat having the aforementioned backrest locking mechanism is also provided.
