Child safety seat with a motorized harness belt tensioner
The invention relates to a child safety seat (100) comprising an integral harness belt (102) for restraining a child in the child safety seat (100), a belt tension monitor (106) adapted for monitoring a belt tension acting on the harness belt (102), a motorized harness belt tensioner (104) comprising a tensioning element (114) driven by an electromechanical actuator (122) and adapted for adjusting the belt tension acting on the harness belt (102), and a controller adapted for controlling the motorized harness belt tensioner (104) to adjust the belt tension to match a first predefined belt tension and for monitoring the resulting belt tension using the belt tension monitor (106).
VEHICLE SEAT FOR MOUNTING CHILD SEAT
A vehicle seat for mounting a child seat rotatably provided in a vehicle body, includes a backrest frame; a seat back panel coupled to the backrest frame; and a rotation anchorage which is provided in the seat back panel and is rotatably provided with an anchorage member to which a top tether of the child seat is fastened as the vehicle seat rotates.
Misuse preventing mechanism and rotatable child safety seat
A misuse preventing mechanism (1) is disposed on a rotatable child safety seat (100). The rotatable child safety seat has a base (13) and an installation bracket (3) coupled to the base (13) and configured to support a carrier body (2). The installation bracket (3) is capable of rotating with respect to the base (13) and has a restraining groove (31). The misuse preventing mechanism (1) includes a lock member (11) disposed on the base (13) and driven to restrain a rotation angle of the carrier body (2).
Rotating Child Car Seat with Belt and Tether Tensioner and Reclining Frame
Disclosed herein are child car seats configured to be installed in an associated vehicle using a safety belt of the associated vehicle and a top tether. The child car seat includes a seat shell supported on a base and at least one of a tensioner mechanism and a recline frame. The tensioner mechanism, which may include a panel, is configured to engage and tension each of the safety belt of the associated vehicle and the tether. The recline frame operatively attaches the seat shell to the base such that each of the seat shell and the recline frame are rotatably supported on the base, and the recline frame is further configured to permit the seat shell to recline with respect to the base.
Rotatable car seat with detachable seat and top anchor
A child safety seat for use in a vehicle, the safety seat having a base including a rotating mechanism and a seat shell for a child that is detachably connectable to the base. The base is anchorable in the vehicle using either conventional safety belts or LATCH anchoring provisions. The base is configured to allow a conventional three-point occupant restraint to secure the base to the vehicle and to prevent interaction between the seat shell and the restraint belt. The seat shell, when connected to the base, may be rotated about a generally upstanding axis into forward-facing, rearward-facing, or side-facing configurations. The base includes a moveable wedge that allows the base to optimally fit a variety of vehicle seat having different seat cushion inclinations. The seat shell also includes a height-adjustable backrest portion that allows the seat configuration to be optimized for the occupant, even as the occupant child grows.
ROTATABLE CAR SEAT WITH DETACHABLE SEAT AND TOP ANCHOR
An accessory mount for use with a child safety seat having a base including a rotating mechanism for detachably connecting a seat shell for a child. The base enables rotation of the seat shell into forward-facing, rearward-facing, or side-facing configurations. The base also includes an upstanding backrest portion and is anchorable in the vehicle. The backrest portion includes a reinforcement structure disposed in an upper end that is engageable to a portion of the seat shell when the seat is forward-facing to reinforce the seat shell anchorage. The accessory mount includes an attachment base adapted to matingly engage a portion of the upstanding backrest portion when the seat shell is rearward-facing to allow, for example, a mirror to be attached providing a view of the infant occupant to a vehicle driver.
CHILD RESTRAINT WITH TETHER
A child restraint includes a seat base adapted to rest on a vehicle seat and a juvenile seat adapted to couple to the seat base. The seat base includes a seat-base foundation configured to support the juvenile seat and a tether strap coupled to an upper end of the seat-base foundation and adapted to be fixed to a tether-strap anchor coupled to the vehicle seat.
SEAT BASE FOR A CHILD RESTRAINT
A seat base for a child restraint includes a seat-base foundation adapted to rest on a vehicle seat to support the child restraint in the vehicle. The seat-base foundation has a belt-path surface configured to receive a seat belt. The seat base further includes a seat-belt retainer coupled to the seat-base foundation for movement from an opened position to a closed position to clamp a vehicle seat belt between the seat-belt retainer and the seat-base foundation.
Child safety seat
A child safety seat includes a base, a seat body and a notifying system. The seat body is disposed on the base and movable relative to the base between a front facing position and a rear facing position. The notifying system includes an actuated device disposed on one of the base and the seat body, an actuating component and a notifying device. The actuating component is disposed on another one of the base and the seat body and configured to actuate the actuated device when the seat body reaches at least one of the front facing position and the rear facing position. The notifying device is electrically connected to the actuated device and configured to generate a notifying signal when the actuated device is actuated by the actuating component, so as to indicate information to facilitate a caregiver to determine whether the child safety seat is installed properly.
Child safety seat
A child safety seat includes a support base, a seat shell positionable on the support base, a front end part rotatable relative to the seat shell between a retracted position and a deployed position, and a latching mechanism for locking the front end part in the deployed position. The seat shell has a front end provided with an opening, and two sidewalls respectively protruding at a left and a right side of a seat portion. The front end part has a transversal portion and two side portions, the transversal portion extending along a width direction of the seat shell, and the two side portions being respectively connected pivotally with the two sidewalls of the seat shell. The transversal portion of the front end part is stowed inside the opening of the seat shell in the retracted position, and extends outside the opening of the seat shell in the deployed position.
