Vehicle seat
A vehicle seat includes: (a) a seat structure having a seat cushion frame including a first seat side member and a second seat side member, and a seat back frame; (b) a seat slide mechanism that is capable of moving the seat structure; (c) a first upper riser that is fixed to the seat slide mechanism and supports the first seat side member; (d) a second upper riser that is fixed to the seat slide mechanism and supports the second seat side member; (e) a first locking mechanism that locks and unlocks the first seat side member to and from the seat slide mechanism; and (f) a second locking mechanism that locks the second seat side member to the seat slide mechanism when an excessive load is input.
VEHICLE SEATING ARRANGEMENTS
A seating arrangement for a vehicle is shown to include a plurality of seats, including at least two front seats, at least two rear seats, and a rear jump seat positioned intermediate the two rear seats. The jump seat comprises a seat back which is positioned rearwardly of the rear seats, and the rear seats are movable laterally between a first position where the rear seats are proximate to each other and generally covering the seat back of the jump seat, and a second position where the rear seats are spaced apart from each other and the seat back of the jump seat is exposed. The arrangement may also include rear seats which are rotatable relative to the seat backs to provide a storage surface.

Seat for autonomous driving vehicle
A seat for an autonomous driving vehicle includes a cushion part; a back part coupled to a rear end of the cushion part through a recliner and having an adjustable angle in a front and rear direction; and a leg part rotatably coupled to a front end of the cushion part and having a lower side coupled to a seat rail. The back part is disposed to be vertically movable along a back rail located on a rear side of the back part, and the leg part is disposed to be movable back and forth by the seat rail.
Stowable vehicle seat with slotted guide linkage
A foldable vehicle seat includes a seat base, a seatback connected to the seat base for pivotal movement relative to the seat base from a generally vertical use position to a generally horizontal stow position atop the seat base, wherein the seat base is pivotally connected to the floor such that, when the seatback is moved from its use position to the folded, stow position, the seat base may be moved forward and downward to thereby provide a lower load floor position.
Vehicle seat with foldable stow position
A foldable vehicle includes a seat base, a seatback connected to the seat base for pivotal movement relative to the seat base from a generally vertical use position to a generally horizontal stow position atop the seat base, wherein the seat base is pivotally connected to the floor such that, when the seatback is moved from its use position to the folded, stow position, the seat base may be moved rearward and downward to thereby provide a lower load floor position. The seat also includes a lock mechanism to engage and lock the seat base in a first position when the seatback is positioned within the defined range of use positions, and unlock the seat base for movement to a second position when the seatback is positioned outside the use range.
Aligner chair, support system including the aligner chair and method for suspending the aligner chair from a lift
A chair configured to movably couple to parallel guide rails of a frame includes a support bar having a first end and an opposing second end. A transverse cross-member is coupled to the first end of the support bar. The transverse cross-member has a first side portion and an opposing second side portion. A first support assembly is coupled to the first side portion of the transverse cross-member. The first support assembly is configured to removably couple to a first guide rail of the parallel guide rails. A second support assembly is coupled to the second side portion of the transverse cross-member. The second support assembly is configured to removably couple to a second guide rail of the parallel guide rails.
A LATCHING DEVICE AND A SLOUCH SEAT INCLUDING THE LATCHING DEVICE
A vehicle slouch seat having a carriage that includes a front side and a rear side. A link element is located on a rear side of the carriage and a slideable element is located on the front side of the carriage. A cushion is movable in an upward direction with the carriage connected to a base structure at one of a plurality of latch points. The cushion is prevented being rotated in the upward direction via a cushion rotational prevention structure with the carriage connected to the base structure at another one of the plurality of latch points.
Transport seat system
A transport seat system, in particular aircraft seat system, includes at least one first seat, with at least one mounting module that is configured, for the purpose of mounting the seat, to be connected on a guide rail, and with at least one second seat, which is arranged behind the first seat with at least one mounting module that is configured, for the purpose of mounting the seat, to be connected on the same guide rail, the two seats being configured, for the purpose of implementing a usage position and a stowage position of at least one of the seats, to be displaced on the guide rail relative to one another, wherein
at least one mounting module of at least one of the seats includes a seat foot unit, which is movably supported relative at least to a portion of the mounting module.
CABLE ASSEMBLY FOR VEHICLE SEAT HEADREST
A cable assembly for folding vehicle seats having a folding headrest that folds as the seat back is moved to a folded positon. A cable interconnects a headrest folding mechanism with a stationary component whereby movement of the seat back shifts the cable. The cable assembly includes first and second portions that are interconnected by an adjuster rod and a retainer. The adjuster rod and retainer permit interconnection of the first and second cable segments upon assembly of the headrest with the seat back in a manner that permits taking up slack in the cable assembly.
