Ventilated vehicle seat with passive vent panel
A ventilated vehicle seat includes a vent panel underlying an air permeable trim cover. The vent panel includes a vent that is closed to block air flow when the seat is unoccupied and open to permit air flow when an occupant is on the seat. Opening and closing of the vent is actuated by the weight of the seat occupant. Multiple openings can be spaced along the vent so that forced air flows primarily through vent openings directly alongside the legs or torso of the seat occupant. An effective passive vent panel can be easily made from a sheet of polymeric material with a series of elongated slits cut through the sheet.
VEHICLE SEAT
A vehicle seat includes a seat main body having a seat back, and disposed at a vehicle front side of a seating position at an end side in a vehicle width direction of a rear seat; and a flow path having one end side and another end side, conditioned air flowing through the one end side, the conditioned air being produced by an air-conditioning device mounted at the vehicle, the other end side being disposed inside the seat main body, another end of the flow path opening at a vehicle rear surface of the seat back, and the conditioned air flowing through an inside of the flow path and being blown from the other end towards a vehicle rear side of the seat back.
VEHICLE SEATING ASSEMBLY WITH VENTILATED COOLING
A vehicle ventilation system includes a seating assembly including a seat blower. The seat blower pulls air away from a seating surface. A cabin blower is configured to circulate air in a cabin. A controller is configured to monitor a flow rate of the cabin blower. The controller is also configured to control a seat blower flow rate as a function of a cabin blower flow rate.
Vehicle seat cushion with integrated ventilation
A vehicle seat includes a seat bottom and a seat back extending upwardly from the seat bottom. A cushion is included in each of the seat bottom and seat back. A stream of air is provided to at least one of the seat bottom and the seat back to provide a ventilated vehicle seat for a passenger seated on the vehicle seat.
VENT SWITCHING BETWEEN INDIRECT AND DIRECT MODES
A ventilation system can include structural beam defining an interior beam volume, a window adjacent the structural beam, an interior cabin defined by the structural beam and the window, and an environmental conditioning system. The environmental conditioning system can include a switch operable between a first position and a second position, an indirect configuration with the switch operating in the first position and a direct configuration with the switch operating in the second position. The indirect configuration can direct the air from the interior beam volume onto the window and the direct configuration can direct the air from the interior beam volume toward the user.
Ventilation device for the inside of a motor vehicle
A ventilation device for the inside of a motor vehicle, having at least one air outflow element and at least one associated directional element. The at least one air outflow element is provided in a functional arrangement with an air channel element. The air channel element represents the connection to a supply device as part of an air conditioning system. At least one light element is also provided. The arrangement of the at least one directional element and the at least one air outflow element work together so that the ventilation device can be continuously adjusted at least between two inside ventilation conditions. The at least two ventilation conditions respectively differ at least by means of a direction of outflowing air directed directly into the inside and directed indirectly along a roof liner designed for this reason in relation to a seat region of the motor vehicle.
AIR CONDITIONING DEVICE FOR VEHICLE SEAT
The present disclosure relates to an air conditioning device for a vehicle seat; can include a seat duct formed on a seat of a vehicle, a seat air conditioning unit formed on a lower frame on which the seat is mounted, and a separation space interposed between the seat and the lower frame; and can be formed so that the air is discharged from the air conditioning unit into the separation space, and the air of the separation space is supplied to the seat duct. As a result, it is possible to enhance the mobility of the seat, and to prevent noise and vibration due to driving parts from being delivered to a passenger.
AIR CONDITIONING SEAT
An air conditioning seat including: an extension part; a guide; and a duct, wherein the duct has an overlapping part which overlaps an inner surface of an outer wall of the extension part in a moving direction of the extension part when the extension part is in an extension position and in an retraction position, wherein the guide has a guiding structure by which the inner surface of the outer wall in the extension position is set to an inwardly inclined state in which the inner surface of the outer wall is inclined forward with respect to a blowing direction of the duct or inclined inwardly in a seat width direction with respect to the blowing direction, and wherein an outlet port of the seat has an opening which is opened inwardly in a seat width direction from the inner surface of the outer wall of the extension part.
AIR CONDITIONER FOR VEHICLE
The air conditioner includes: a cabin air conditioner, a seat air conditioner, and a controller that controls the cabin air conditioner and the seat air conditioner. The cabin air conditioner includes an indoor air blower that blows air into the cabin, a cooler that cools air blown by the indoor air blower, and a thermal storage unit that stores cold heat generated by the cooler. The seat air conditioner includes a ventilation opening formed on a seat in the cabin, and a seat air blower that draws air inside the cabin through the ventilation opening. The controller controls the cabin air conditioner to cool the air by the cold heat stored in the thermal storage unit, and lowers an air conditioning performance of the cabin air conditioner when the seat air conditioner is operated.
