Seat pad
There is provided a seat pad 10 including a pad body 12 formed of a foam resin molding and a breathable cushion body 14 formed of a three-dimensional net structure made of linear bodies and provided in a pad surface side of the pad body 12. In the pad body 12, pulling-in grooves 22, 24 for pulling in a skin material 20 are provided on a pad surface, wires 26 are embedded along the pulling-in grooves, and locking holes 28 exposing part of the wires 26 are provided. The locking holes 28 are provided so as to pierce the pad to a pad reverse side and the breathable cushion body 14 is provided in a state where side surfaces thereof abut on the pulling-in grooves 22, 24 so as to communicate thereto.
Variable thermal resistance device for vehicular seats
A seating assembly comprising: a frame having an opening; a support surface spanning the opening in the frame; a variable thermal resistance device that opposes the support surface when the variable thermal resistance device is in a closed state in which airflow is obstructed, the variable thermal resistance device being movable from the closed state to an open state in which airflow is not obstructed and from the open state to the closed state; and an actuator coupled to the variable thermal resistance device. The actuator is operable to actuate movement of the variable thermal resistance device between the open and closed states.
Seat with ventilative property
To provide a seat with ventilative property, which can eliminate or minimize the possibility of its being permanently deformed and settled into an unrecoverable deformed state. In the seat with ventilative property, left and right three-dimensional network cushion elements are provided in a forwardly-facing region of a seat cushion of the seat, in a manner independent of each other, such that the left and right three-dimensional network cushion elements are respectively situated at: one location on which a left thigh portion of a seat occupant is to be contacted; and the other location on which a right thigh portion of the seat occupant is to be contacted. This arrangement can almost completely prevent a direct application of a weight of the seat occupant to the two three-dimensional network cushion elements. Therefore, the present invention has the effect that a permanent downward settling of the seat cushion SC can be prevented, so that a short life of the seat due to such permanent settling may be substantially avoided.
Seat with warmer
A seat with a warmer may include a heating unit mounted on a rear side of a seat back and radiating heat toward a rear seat; an air duct disposed close to the heating unit on the seat back, extending up and down on the seat back, and passing air therein, and a blowing unit disposed in the air duct generating a sucking force in the air duct so that air heated by the heating unit flows into the air duct, and sending out the heated air in the air duct to a floor under the rear seat.
PASSIVE AIR SUSPENDED SEAT COMFORT LAYER HAVING AREAS OF DIFFERING PRESSURES
A vehicle seating assembly includes a seating frame. A plurality of cellular supports include multiple base cells and multiple support cells. The multiple support cells are disposed directly above and include a different air pressure than the base cells. A diaphragm is proximate the base cells and the support cells. An air passage is defined through the diaphragm between adjacent cellular supports. An open air distribution layer extends over the cellular supports. A breathable coverstock extends over the distribution layer.

Vehicle seat
A vehicle seat comprising a foam padding having a through-bore, a surface cover element covering a surface of the foam padding, and a functional element formed from a soft material. The functional element has a tubular body fitted in the through-bore of the foam padding and a flange integral with the tubular body. An area of the flange of the functional element, adjacent to a peripheral end of the flange, is sewn with a reverse side of an edge portion of an opening defined in the surface cover element, such reverse side facing to the foam padding. The surface cover element with the flange thus sewn therewith covers the foam padding, with the tubular body being fitted in the through-bore of the foam padding, so that a surface of the flange and an opening of the tubular body are exposed in an outer surface of the vehicle seat.

A breathable coverstock extends over the distribution layer.
HEADREST FOR HEAD AND NECK
Certain embodiments of the present disclosure are related to a supportive apparatus for the head and neck. Embodiments of the invention incorporate a C-shaped apparatus shaped to support the posterior region of the neck. A center region found in certain embodiments of the C-shaped apparatus is placed on the posterior of a neck. Lateral supports found in certain embodiments of the C-shaped apparatus are placed on the lateral aspect of a neck. Embodiments of the invention include an opening across a center region functioning to support the apparatus, and to further act as to ventilate a user's nape.
