Hard shell rooftop tent with utility rails
A tent system with utility rails is described. The hard shell tent system may include a first shell member, second shell member, utility rails, and an articulating mechanism. The first shell member may be adapted to mount to a roof of a vehicle. The second shell member may be adapted to mate with the first shell member and define an interior cavity when the tent system is in a closed position. The utility rails may be coupled to the second shell member and adapted to support items on top of the second shell member. The articulating mechanism may couple the first shell member to the second shell member and may transfer a weight of the second shell member and the utility rails to a roof of the vehicle when the tent system is in the open position.
Retractable awning and window frame assembly
An awning assembly includes a frame having a U-shaped recess, and first and second support arms having first end portions pivotably mounted within the recess. The assembly further includes a shaft, and an awning supported on the shaft. The first and second support arms have second end portions connected to the awning or to the shaft. The awning is movable by the support arms between a retracted position and an extended position. When the awning is in the retracted position, the awning is in a rolled-up or collapsed configuration and the second end portions of the support arms and the awning are disposed within the recess. When the awning is moved from the retracted position to the extended position, the second end portions of the support arms pivot out of the recess and unfurl the awning.
HARD SHELL ROOFTOP TENT WITH UTILITY RAILS
A tent system includes a first shell member configured to mount to a vehicle, a second shell member rotatably coupled to the first shell member via a hinge assembly, a first flexible membrane having a first membrane fastener, a second flexible membrane having a second membrane fastener, and a shell interconnector configured to couple at least a portion of the first shell member or second shell member to at least one of the first flexible membrane and second flexible membrane.
Apparatus and method for a rear slide-out compartment in a recreational vehicle for increasing interior space
A recreational vehicle (RV) includes a slide-out compartment that increases a size of an interior living space. The slide-out compartment extends from and retracts into a rear side of the RV. The slide-out compartment includes a plurality of panels coupled to a rear double door structure. The plurality of panels configured to extend from the RV in an open state and recede into the RV in a closed state. The double door structure is configured to recess into a rear door jamb of the RV and form a weather seal with the rear door jamb when the slide-out compartment is in a closed state and detach from the door jamb when the when the slide-out compartment is not in a closed state.
Connector with Integrated Lighting
Embodiments of a connector with integrated lighting are provided. The connector may be used with an awning assembly of an RV, for non-limiting example. The connector includes a retaining channel having a relief opening from which an awning canopy may extend. The retaining channel may be directly connected to a luminaire mount or may be connected to the luminaire mount by the connector. The connector may be mounted to a rail on an RV or sidewall of other structures.
Connector with integrated lighting
Embodiments of a connector with integrated lighting are provided. The connector may be used with an awning assembly of an RV, for non-limiting example. The connector includes a head and neck with a luminaire mounted thereto, and the connector may be mounted to a rail on an RV or sidewall of other structures.
Deployable shelter structure
A shelter structure arranged to be deployed from a stowed configuration above a vehicle to a deployed configuration, having a number of elongate stays for supporting a flexible awning, the stays being movable to fan out from a stowed configuration to a fanned out configuration when deployed. The structure is provided with a mounting permitting the structure to move with respect to the mounting when deployed to selectively cover alternative sheltered zones in a deployed configuration.
Awning arm for a camper trailer
An awning support arm for a camper trailer including: an outer member formed with an elongated opening; an intermediate member slidable relative to the outer member; an inner member slidable relative to the intermediate member; an outer fastening assembly arranged to hold the outer member fast with the intermediate member; and an inner fastening assembly arranged to hold the intermediate member fast with the inner member the inner fastening assembly including a user operation portion that extends through the elongated opening of the outer member; wherein the members may be slid relative to each other to assume an extended configuration or a retracted configuration and maintained in either configuration by means of said fastening assemblies.
