RETENTION ASSEMBLY FOR A DELIVERY VEHICLE
A delivery system for delivery items includes sidewalls that define a cargo space. A retention assembly is operably coupled to the sidewalls. The retention assembly includes a housing and a retention feature that is operably coupled to the housing. The retention feature has an attachment portion and a control unit that is operably coupled with the retention feature. A controller is communicatively coupled to the control unit of the retention assembly, and a memory storage is communicatively coupled with the controller.
BUSHING AND BELT TENSION SYSTEM FOR CAPTIVE BEAM SYSTEM
This disclosure provides a bushing for a captive beam system, and specifically a bushing that extends between a track for a captive beam system and a bracket that slides along the track. In some captive beam systems that have automatic moving capability, the bracket (and therefore the captive beam that is rotatably connected to the bracket) is pulled upward or downward by a force applied thereto either directly or indirectly, and this force may result in some rubbing between the bracket and the track, which introduces the possibility of wear. The bushing is provided as a wear surface to prevent track or bracket wear. The disclosure also provides a tensioning system for an automatically movable captive beam.
MODULAR, LIGHTWEIGHT PANELS AND RACKS FOR TRUCK TAILGATE
A pickup full of gear doesn't have to be a jumbled mess. A modular, lightweight load-carrying system is custom engineered to fit directly onto a tailgate using the existing OEM mounting points of the vehicle. The rack systems allow drivers of the vehicle to keep gear organized, easily accessible, and secure.
Attachment of cargo holding belt to a vehicle loading platform
A loading platform configured for attachment of cargo holding belts by means of a hook, the platform comprising a substantially rectangular frame supporting a loading surface, the frame including two longitudinal side members, and platform walls attached to outer sides of the frame members, inner surfaces of the platform walls delimiting a generally flat loading area. On a side facing away from the loading area each side member is provided with a protruding edge for engaging a hook of a cargo holding belt, wherein the edge extends beyond the loading area, and is received by a recess in a platform wall.
Modular systems for use with vehicles, for mounting accessories and related methods
A modular support system for a vehicle with multi-component support structures that include a pair of side supports, a pair of base supports, and a horizontal support suspended between the pair of side supports. Each side support can include a vertical portion, a base portion extending from the vertical portion and coupled, directly or indirectly, to the base support.
SELECTIVE RETENTION SYSTEM
A selective retention system may have at least one side retention rail with an attachment portion and a retention portion. The retention portion may have a plurality of teeth. The system may also have an end retention rail with an attachment portion and a retention portion, where the retention portion at least one aperture.
Adapter and bolsters for transporting a container
A container adapter for securing a container to a cargo section of a vehicle includes a frame, a plurality of brackets connected to the frame for securing the frame to the cargo section, and a plurality of locks formed on the frame configured to secure the frame to the container. The cargo section of the vehicle includes one or more attachments secured to a support surface, and at least two locks disposed on the attachments and spaced apart by a predetermined distance in a length direction. The at least two locks configured to engage the one or more containers. A trailer includes a cargo section having multiple bolsters, for use in the sand haul operation for example, the multiple bolsters including first, second and third bolsters spaced apart along a length direction, each bolster comprising two locks configured to engage a container. The second bolster is spaced from the first bolster by a first distance and the third bolster spaced from the first bolster by a second distance different than the first distance.
Accommodation system for rollable containers in a vehicle, and a vehicle having such a system
An accommodation system for an accommodation space for storing rollable containers in a vehicle. After a front container, which is arranged at the insertion opening, has been removed in the conventional manner, it is possible, through the use of the accommodation system, to remove the rear container which is arranged considerably spaced apart from the insertion opening in the interior of the accommodation space. For this purpose, a rail system is provided in the floor region of the accommodation space. A transfer plate is movable on the rail system in the floor region of the accommodation space and can assume a storage position and a removal position for the rear container.
SHELF SYSTEM
A shelf system may have a framework with several support members. The support members may support at least one movable shelf. The system may have an upper bracket connected to one of the support members and a rail adapted to permit selective sliding movement of the upper bracket with respect to the rail. The rail may be connected to one of the support members. The rail may extend toward another support member, but it may terminate before it reaches the support member leaving a gap between the rail and support member.
Truck bed accessory mounting panels
An accessory mounting system is easily coupled to an inner portion of a pick-up bed, thus allowing a user to easily mount and hold equipment. The mounting system includes a number of panels which can be mounted to existing structures within the pick-up box, and which have a pattern of openings to accommodate straps, brackets, tie-downs, and other holding mechanisms.
