LIGHT DEVICE FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE
A light device for a motor vehicle, the light device including: a housing; a heat sink over moulded with the housing; at least one light source arranged directly on the heat sink; a control device for the electrical power supply of the at least one light source arranged in the housing and electrically connected to the light source; an optical element suitable for cooperating with light rays emitted by the at least one light source.
Light housing for mounting light on bumper of automobile
A light housing for installing a light on a bumper of an automobile. It includes a cylindrical member with a front opening which has a shape defined by an intersection of the cylinder with a first plane that is non-perpendicular to a cylindrical axis of the cylinder, and an oval shaped mounting ring joined to the cylindrical member at the front opening. The mounting ring had a backward extending outer rim, the outer rim having a shape that conforms to a second plane which is parallel to the first plane. When mounted on the bumper, the backward extending outer rim presses against the bumper surface. The light housing is designed such that when mounted, the axial direction of the cylindrical member forms a predefined angle relative to the forward direction of the automobile, e.g. parallel to the forward direction.
GRILL-MOUNTED ADJUSTABLE LIGHT ASSEMBLY
An adjustable light assembly configured to be mounted to a vehicle grill includes a mounting ring configured to clamp onto a portion of the vehicle grill and a light supporting member configured to support a light in alignment with a central opening of the mounting ring. The light supporting member is connected to the mounting ring. The mounting ring and/or the light supporting member are configured to permit adjustment of the light relative to the mounting ring. The mounting ring can include a front ring and a rear ring that are coupled to one another to clamp the vehicle grill therebetween. In some configurations, the light supporting member is coupled to the mounting ring by a spheroidal joint. In some configurations the light supporting member is a bracket connected to the mounting ring.
LIGHTING ASSEMBLY AND METHODS THEREFOR
A method of illumination includes energizing a light source of a lighting apparatus to emit a plurality of light rays. The method also includes directing a first light ray of the plurality of light rays into a first upper passageway. The method also includes directing a second light ray of the plurality of light rays into a first lower passageway. The method also includes redirecting the first light ray from the first upper passageway into a second upper passageway. The method also includes redirecting the second light ray from the second upper passageway into a second lower passageway.
Vehicle lamp device and light cut-off structure thereof
A vehicle lamp device and a light cut-off structure thereof are disclosed. The light cut-off structure includes a front cut-off edge, a rear cut-off edge, and a top surface. The front cut-off edge corresponds in position to the rear cut-off edge and the top surface is connected between the front and rear cut-off edges. A portion of the top surface is inclined along an inclination direction from the front cut-off edge toward the rear cut-off edge. The portion has a predetermined inclination angle relative to a horizontal plane or a lens optical axis. The predetermined inclination angle is greater than 0 degrees and less than 30 degrees. A lighting pattern with a cut-off line is formed when at least one emitted light is selectively shielded by the front cut-off edge. Therefore, the light concentration ratio can be significantly raised.
ELEMENT FOR POSITIONING A COMPONENT IN SPACE
An adjustable positioning element (1) enabling a component (7) to be positioned and fastened in three dimensions is provided. The element comprises a bolt (2) with which the component (7) can be positioned in an axial direction (z) of the bolt (2), a hollow body (4) presenting an annular end wall through which the bolt passes, and a fastener element (5) with a washer (25) surrounding the bolt and arranged to be movable sideways against the end wall of the hollow body (4). The washer (25) is designed to be pressed against the end wall of the hollow body when the fastener element is attached to the bolt so as to fix the lateral (xy) position of the bolt (2) in the hollow body (4). The fastener element (5) and the bolt (2) are arranged to attach to each other by reversible snap-fastening.
Vehicle
A multi-purpose vehicle includes a rollover protection structure frame (ROPS frame) associated with a seat. The ROPS frame includes right and left front struts, and right and left rear struts. A handrail frame is attached to a lateral outer side of the seat. A cover member is attached to the handrail frame and extends upwards from the handrail frame.
SYSTEM MADE UP OF AN ATTACHMENT PART AND A RETAINING ELEMENT
A system includes an attachment part and a holding element for holding the attachment part on a carrier part, the holding element having a threaded part connected to the attachment part and an internal thread for a holding screw, and a spacer part, the spacer part and the threaded part having interacting threads, the spacer part having a through opening flush with the internal thread of the threaded part when the spacer part is screwed to the threaded part, with the result that the carrier part can be held between a head of the holding screw and the spacer part, the threaded part having a holding section for holding the attachment part, the holding section having at least one latching element which interacts with at least one corresponding latching element of the attachment part for releasably latching the attachment part on the threaded part.
Front end assemblies having reinforcement brackets
A vehicle includes a headlamp assembly, an upper bumper assembly, and a reinforcement bracket. The headlamp assembly includes a headlamp housing and a brace portion. The brace portion includes a front end that extends forward beyond the headlamp housing in the vehicle-longitudinal direction. The upper bumper assembly extends in a vehicle-lateral direction. The upper bumper assembly is positioned forward in the vehicle longitudinal direction with respect to the brace portion. The reinforcement bracket is attached to the brace portion. The reinforcement bracket has a rigidity higher than a rigidity of the brace portion. The reinforcement bracket reinforces the brace portion upon engagement with the upper bumper assembly as the upper bumper assembly deflects rearward in the vehicle-longitudinal direction in response to a front impact to the upper bumper assembly to inhibit movement of the upper bumper assembly rearward in the vehicle-longitudinal direction.
LIGHT-PROJECTING DEVICE AND LIGHT CUT-OFF STRUCTURE THEREOF
A light-projecting device and a light cut-off structure thereof are disclosed. The light cut-off structure includes a cut-off body, a lighting-pattern modifying portion, a first light extinction area and a second light extinction area. The lighting-pattern modifying portion is disposed on the cut-off body. The first light extinction area is disposed on the cut-off body and arranged on a first side of the lighting-pattern modifying portion. The second light extinction area is disposed on the cut-off body and arranged on a second side of the lighting-pattern modifying portion. Therefore, the stray light can be reduced.
