MULTIFUNCTIONAL SWITCH DEVICE FOR VEHICLES

The present invention provides a multifunctional switch device for a vehicle, which can reduce noise generation due to a collision between components when performing a return function after the activation of a turn signal. The multifunctional switch device for a vehicle, according to the present invention includes: a housing coupled to one side of the steering column; a lever switch protrudingly mounted on one side of the housing so as to be rotatably manipulated within a predetermined section range; a moving block disposed within the housing so as to be rotatably moved together with the lever switch, a retaining block being provided at one side of the moving block; a guide bush mounted at one side of the steering column so as to rotate together with the steering wheel; and a cancel cam configured to be operated by the guide bush depending on a manipulated state of the steering wheel to return the moving block that has been rotatably moved to its original position. The cancel cam includes a cam body rotatably coupled to the housing so as to be brought into close contact with the retaining block, and a shock-absorbing rib elastically deformably disposed at the cam body such that when the cam body is rotated, the shock-absorbing rib can be brought into close contact with the retaining block earlier than the cam body to absorb the shock caused by a collision between the retaining block and the cam body.

DIRECTION INDICATION MECHANISM

A bracket is rotatable between a neutral position and a direction indication position in response to an operation by a user. A ratchet is slidable between an entry position where the ratchet enters a rotating trajectory of a cancel cam mounted on a steering shaft of a vehicle and a retract position where the ratchet retracts from the rotating trajectory interlocking with rotation of the bracket. A cam surface forming protrusion is provided on the bracket, and includes a cam surface including a neutral holding portion that holds the ratchet at the retract position when the bracket is at the neutral position. A cam surface forming wall is fixed so as not to be interlocked with rotation of the bracket, and includes a cam surface including a portion that allows the ratchet to enter to the rotating trajectory when the bracket is rotated to the direction indication position.

Steering column switch (20) for a vehicle, in particular for a utility vehicle, wherein the steering column switch (20) has a housing (32), an actuating device which can be coupled to an operating element and has at least one actuating element (21, 22, 23), a magnet (24) and a magnetic sensor (28), wherein an actuating movement of an actuating element (21, 22, 23) in a first actuating direction (R1, R2, R3) can bring about a relative movement between the magnet (24) and the magnetic sensor (28) in a first direction of movement and an actuating movement of an actuating element (21, 22, 23) of the actuating device in a second actuating direction (R1, R2, R3) can bring about a relative movement between the magnet (24) and the magnetic sensor (28) in a second direction of movement different from the first direction of movement, wherein the magnetic sensor (28) is set up to detect the relative movement between the magnet (24) and the magnetic sensor (28) in each case in the first direction of movement (R1, R2, R3) and in the second direction of movement (R1, R2, R3) and, depending on the detected relative movement in the first direction of movement, to generate a first switching signal and, depending on the detected relative movement in the second direction of movement, a second switching signal.

Retractable steering column with a radially projecting attachment

A driver interface for a vehicle includes a steering column assembly and a structural facial. The steering column assembly includes a column constructed and arranged to move between a retracted state and an extended state, and an attachment projecting outward from the column. The structural facial defines an alcove for receipt of the attachment when the steering column is in the retracted state.
