In a grain cart having an auger fold actuator, a gate actuator, and at least one spout actuator, a grain cart control system has an input device received within an operator cab to generate command signals responsive to operator commands, an electronic controller operatively associated with selected actuators of the grain cart, a valve actuator connected to each valve of the selected actuators of the grain cart, and stored programmable criteria to generate activation signals for the valve actuators in response to the command signals. Each mechanical function that is controlled also has a rotary potentiometer for positional feedback. To actuate any sequence, a joystick will send commands to the controller to activate a sequence. Since the controls according to the present invention are driven by a logic-based controller, various functions can be automated.

The system may include a work vehicle and an agricultural implement coupled to the work vehicle and configured to be towed by the work vehicle. The system may include a vision-based sensor coupled to the work vehicle and a controller communicatively coupled to the vision-based sensor. The controller may include a processor and associated memory. The memory may store instructions that, when executed by the processor, configure the controller to receive image data from the vision-based sensor; determine an orientation parameter based on the received image data; and initiate a corrective action based on the orientation parameter of the agricultural implement while the agricultural implement is being towed by the work vehicle. The orientation parameter may describe an orientation of the agricultural implement relative to the work vehicle.

A tractor control network (4) and an implement control network (5) are connected through a data bus (6). Control signals are transmitted over a signal line of the data bus (6). A driving power supply is provided by a tractor power supply (13) to a working unit (10b) of the implement through a driving power supply line, the tractor power supply (13) configured to provide a plurality of different driving voltages. Driving power supply control signals are received in the tractor control network (4), the driving power supply control signals being sent from the implement control network (5) over the signal line and indicating a present driving voltage. The present driving voltage is supplied over the driving power supply line to the working unit (10b).
