Vehicle bicycle rack

A bicycle rack for attaching to a vehicle includes a hitch attachment, a vertical support frame, and a pair of horizontal support frames. An upper horizontal support frame is perpendicularly secured to a distal end of the vertical support frame. A lower horizontal support frame is perpendicularly secured adjacent to the middle of the vertical support frame. The hitch attachment is pivotally secured behind the base of the vertical support frame and is provided with a plurality of hitch attachment apertures to allow an adjustable projection from the vehicle. The vertical support frame can be selectively moved toward horizontal by removing a lock pin. The upper and lower support frames support at least one (1) bicycle thereon.

CARGO BIN SYSTEM WITH "T" BRACKET FASTENER

In one exemplary embodiment, a seating system for a vehicle includes an occupant seat, a bin housing, and a bracket panel. The bin housing forms a cavity in which items may be stored beneath the occupant seat, and includes a bin surface forming a recess having a first section and a second section. The bracket panel is coupled between the occupant seat and the bin housing, and includes an installation plate having a panel surface, and a T shaped bracket that extends from the panel surface and is configured to be inserted into the first section and the second section of the recess during installation. The T shaped bracket includes: a first component configured to be received by the second section of the recess during installation; and a second component configured to be received by the first section of the recess during installation.

A vehicle passenger is provided with a console for mounting an entertainment apparatus, the console being coupled to the back of a more forwardly located seat by headrest retaining clips of the kind adapted to hold posts of a height adjustable headrest for the seat at a height selected position. In one arrangement, the console is sandwiched between the headrest retaining clips and the top of the seat back. In an alternative arrangement, the console incorporates integral headrest retaining clips that replace the conventional headrest retaining clips.

A mounting arrangement for securing a housing to a windshield of the vehicle includes a mounting bracket having a plurality of keyhole slots, each having a receiving opening at one end of the keyhole slot, a locking recess at another end of the keyhole slot, and a ramp connecting the receiving opening with the locking recess. A plurality of mounting posts each including a base portion, a head portion, and a collar portion are mounted to the windshield and positioned to align with associated keyhole slots in the mounting bracket. The keyhole slots and the mounting posts are arranged such that the head portion of each mounting post is received into the receiving opening of its associate keyhole slot, slidable up the ramp of its associated keyhole slot, and lockable into the locking recess of its associated keyhole slot. The housing is attachable to the mounting bracket.

Accessory attachment system

An accessory attachment system comprising a fastening key having an accessory retention cap, a stem extending from the retention cap, and at least one bit extending laterally from a distal end of the stem. The stem configured to be inserted through a key aperture in an accessory to be attached to the vehicle. The system includes a locking bracket connectable to the vehicle adjacent an accessory portal provided in the vehicle. The locking bracket comprises a base plate, a keyhole disposed through the base plate, and at least one inclined securing structure disposed along a circumference of the keyhole. Each securing structure comprises a ramp and a detent. The keyhole is configured to receive the stem distal end and bit(s) therethrough, and each securing structure is configured to engage the bit(s) and interlock the fastening key with the locking bracket upon rotation of the key.

Vehicle and vehicle air compressor system

A vehicle includes a truck bed, docking plate, baseplate, latching system, air compressor, and air storage tank. The truck bed has a side panel extending upward from a floor panel. The docking plate is secured to an internal surface of the side panel. The baseplate has first and second opposing external surfaces. The latching system extends from the first surface and engages the docking plate to secure the baseplate thereto. The air compressor and the air storage tank are each secured to the second surface.

Holder assembly

A holder assembly includes a connector positioned at a first end of the holder assembly. An accessory-engagement portion is positioned at a second end of the holder assembly. The accessory-engagement portion is configured to removably couple with an accessory. An arm is positioned between the first end and the second end. An attachment elbow is positioned between the arm and the connector. The attachment elbow is pivotable about a hinge.

Steering column

A steering column with a switch module at least partially surrounding the steering column. The switch module includes at least one actuating lever for activating at least one function. A mechanical interface for attaching at least one bracket for an object is provided in the area of the switch module. The interface is configured as a separate component mounted on the switch module.
