Vehicle tie down assemblies may be provided for securing cargo and/or accessories at vehicle front ends. The tie down assemblies may be mounted to a vehicle fender without obstructing the opening and closing of the vehicle hood. Exemplary vehicle tie down assemblies may embody a multi-piece design that establishes a pass-through for receiving various tie downs. The tie down assemblies may additionally include one or more bolt assemblies for mounting accessories.
MODULAR VEHICLE HITCH ACCESSORY SYSTEM AND RELATED METHODS
The present invention provides a vehicle hitch system having a plurality of modular and easily interchangeable accessory attachments. Each accessory attachment may be operable to secure one or more pieces of equipment useful for the user's preferred activities. The system may include a base and a plurality of different accessory attachments, the base comprising a vehicle mount, a connector, and a support frame, and each of the accessory attachments may comprise an accessory mount and an accessory support.
Universal mounting tabs and kits for automotive components
Mounting tabs, kits and methods of using the mounting tabs where none previously existed or for replacing/repairing broken mounting tabs are disclosed. For example, the mounting tabs, kits and methods disclosed herein are well suited for the repair of high value components, including automotive components.
Stereo camera device
The present invention provides a stereo camera device with which it is possible to prevent the deformation of a housing caused by a warp or strain imposed on a cover and a difference in the rate of increase of the temperature of the housing and the cover, as well as to reduce the size of the housing and to cut down component counts and assembly man-hours. In the present invention, fixing of a substrate and a housing together and fixing of a cover and the housing together are performed in common, and the substrate and the cover are fixed to the housing at the same (common) fixing point, whereby a warp or strain imposed on the cover and a difference in the rate of increase of the temperature of the housing and the cover are absorbed by an elastic body that is used for floating/fixing and is provided for the purpose of cancelling a difference in the amount of contraction and expansion caused by a difference in the coefficient of linear expansion of the substrate and the housing.
QUICK CONNECT ATTACHMENT OR DETACHMENT OF AN ITEM TO OR FROM A VEHICLE
A quick connect attachment includes an adapter and a quick connect fitting. The adapter includes a first end with threads of a first type and a second end with threads of a second type. Thus, the adapter may convert threads of the first type on a first item to threads of a second type on a first member of the quick connect fitting. The first member of the quick connect fitting and a second member of the quick connect fitting on a second item may enable attachment of the first item to a second item.
DEVICE FOR AN IMAGE ACQUISITION SYSTEM
A device for use with a vehicle-mounted image acquisition unit includes a main body. The main body includes a first end and a second end opposite to the first end. The main body further defines an interior cavity extending between the first end and the second end, and a plurality of apertures therethrough between the first end and the second end. The first end of the main body is configured to be disposed at or near the vehicle-mounted image acquisition unit. The vehicle-mounted image acquisition unit has a field of view extending through the interior cavity and through the second end to an outside environment surrounding a vehicle.
Low profile toolbox and headache rack mounting bracket
A bracket comprising: (a) a mating portion; (b) a channel secured to the mating portion; and (c) a tab extending from a terminal edge of the mating portion; wherein the mating portion abuts a top edge of a cargo box of a vehicle and the tab at least partially extends around a lip of the cargo box to secure the bracket to the top edge of the cargo box.
Vehicle mounted display device, connector for vehicle-mounted display device and vehicle with vehicle-mounted display device
The present disclosure provides a connector. The connector is applied in a vehicle-mounted display device and connected between a first component and a second component of the vehicle-mounted display device. The connector includes: a main body with a first end and an opposite second end; a limiting connection portion disposed at the first end of the main body and used to mount the main body to the second component; a deformable supporting portion that is deformable under force and disposed on the main body between the first end and the second end; and a fastening portion disposed at the second end of the main body and used to fix the first component.
SLEEPING COT FOR A VEHICLE
A sleeping cot has been disclosed herein. The sleeping cot may be partially installed in a front cabin of vehicles and deployed when needed. The sleeping cot includes metallic rods and a flexible mat that is removably attached to the metallic rods. The sleeping cot unit may further include front brackets attached to or adjacent the A-pillars of the vehicle and rear brackets attached to or adjacent the B-pillars of the vehicle. Further, one metallic rod is removably attached to the front brackets, and another metallic rod is removably attached to the rear brackets. Further, the flexible mat can be made firm by rotating one of the metallic rods within the brackets tightening the fabric mat wrapped around it. Further, the rotation and position of the metallic rod can be temporarily secured within the brackets to retain a firm mat.
MOTOR VEHICLE CAMERA ASSEMBLY
The motor vehicle camera assembly includes a first housing part, a second housing part, and an attaching mechanism for attaching the first and second housing parts together defining an inner space for receiving at least an electronics carrier. The attaching mechanism is configured such that, when the first and second housing parts are attached to each other, the first housing part contacts at least one portion of a first surface of the electronics carrier and the second housing part contacts at least one portion of a second surface of the electronics carrier. The first housing part may be coupled to the second housing part with the electronics carrier being tightly sandwiched there between.
