GROMMET AND WIRE HARNESS

A grommet for a wire harness includes: a water sealing portion that is configured to be fitted into and water-seal a through hole; a first tubular portion that is provided on the inner side of the water sealing portion; a first annular wall portion that extends between the water sealing portion and the first tubular portion; a second annular wall portion that faces the first annular wall portion with a first space located between the first annular wall portion and the second annular wall portion, extends from the water sealing portion toward a central axis (C) side; and a first protrusion portion that is provided by protruding toward the first space S1 side from an inner wall surface of the first annular wall portion.

Wire harness

It is an object of the present invention to ensure a high water-stopping property of a wire harness including a waterproofing connector section that is molded from a resin, by suppressing a variation in the outer size of a seal section of the connector section. The connector section is made from a first synthetic resin that is insert-molded with a part of a terminal fitting of the terminated electric cable used as an insert section. A water-stopping section is made from a second synthetic resin that is insert-molded with a section extending from a part of the terminal fitting to an insulation coating of the terminated electric cable used as an insert section. The seal section is made from the second synthetic resin that is insert-molded with a part of the connector section used as an insert section. The second synthetic resin is softer than the first synthetic resin.

A grommet includes a grommet body having a cylindrical shape for passing through a wire therein and configured to be inserted and locked to a through hole formed in a sheet member and a cylindrical body provided on the grommet body and configured to branch the wire passed through the grommet body in at least two directions. The cylindrical body is provided with an easily bendable part at an inside of a bent part thereof, the easily bendable part suppressing swell of the inside of the bent part, when the cylindrical body is bent in a direction of bending a cylinder axis of the cylindrical body.

Wire harness assembly with a grommet having a wire spacing retainer and method for manufacturing same

A wire harness assembly and a method of forming such a wire harness assembly is presented. The wire harness assembly includes a plurality of wire cables and a wire support defining elongate slots having open and closed ends. The cables are disposed within the slots. Retaining teeth are defined by side walls of the slots and are configured to separate one wire cable from another wire cable in the same slot. The wire harness assembly also includes a slug formed of a moldable material that encases the wire support. The slug also encases a portion of each of the wire cables. The wire harness assembly further includes a grommet encircling the slug. The slug may be formed by disposing the cables within the slots of the wire support, arranging the wire support and the cables in a mold, injecting a moldable material into the mold, and curing the moldable material.

Wire harness grommets with pull handles and methods of use

A wire harness grommet includes a grommet body including a first flared portion, a second flared portion and a narrow portion between the first flared portion and the second flared portion. The first flared portion has a wire receiving opening extending therethrough for receiving one or more wires. A pull handle has a first end located at a first side of the first flared portion and a second end located at an opposite, second side of the first flared portion forming a closed loop.

ARRANGEMENT STRUCTURE OF WIRING MEMBER

An arrangement structure of a wiring member includes: a first member; a second member connected to the first member to be rotatable around a rotational axis; and a plurality of electrical wires having a part disposed at least between the first member and the second member, wherein the plurality of electrical wires are disposed in parallel to each other in a direction in which the rotational axis extends in the part of the plurality of electrical wires disposed between the first member and the second member.

Connector with grommet

A connector with a grommet includes a housing, a grommet, and a sensing member. A panel hooking portion, a flange, and a locking projection are formed on an outside of the housing. The sensing member includes a part received in a receiving part of the grommet and senses a locked state of the locking projection. The housing is provided with a flexible arm. The flexible arm is provided with the locking projection. The sensing member moves between the locking surface of the locking projection and a wall of the receiving part. When the locking projection is locked to the panel, the sensing member is pushed out by the panel in an anti-locking direction by a thickness of the panel.

Grommet and wire harness

A grommet includes a fitting body to be fitted in a wall body, a sound insulation wall body that has an annular shape and is in a space part inside of the fitting body, cylinders that are projected from both ends of the fitting body in an axial direction and allow a harness body in the space part to be drawn outward via inside of the cylinders, and an inner cylinder interposed between one cylinder and the harness body, in which the cylinder, having the inner cylinder interposed between the cylinder and the harness body, has a first cylindrical part on a free end side, a second cylindrical part having a diameter larger than a diameter of the first cylindrical part, and an intermediate tubular part between the first cylindrical part and the second cylindrical part. The inner cylinder has a variable cylindrical part.

Grommet and wire harness

A grommet includes a ring-shaped water stop portion inserted into a through hole formed in an attachment panel and performing water stopping, a closing portion projecting toward radial inside of the water stop portion and closing a ring shape of the water stop portion, a tube portion extending in a direction crossing an axis direction of the water stop portion and provided to penetrate the closing portion and through which a wire material is inserted, and a handle portion provided in an arch shape with respect to the closing portion with a central axis of the water stop portion serving as a center.
