COUPLING DEVICE FOR SECURING AN AIRBAG MODULE TO A VEHICLE STEERING WHEEL
The disclosure relates to a coupling device for securing an airbag module to a steering wheel main body of a vehicle steering wheel. The coupling device comprises: a securing body which has, relative to a steering wheel axis, an axial lower face that faces the steering wheel main body when the vehicle steering wheel is assembled, and an axial upper face that faces the airbag module when the vehicle steering wheel is assembled. An engagement element is disposed on the upper face of the securing body, for engaging with the airbag module. The engagement element is designed so that the airbag module can be coupled to the securing body by an engagement connection in such a manner that it cannot be substantially axially displaced or it can be limitedly axially displaced. An electronic control unit is provided and the securing body at least partly forms a housing of the electronic control unit.
VIBRATION DAMPER FOR A VEHICLE STEERING WHEEL
A vibration damper for a motor vehicle steering wheel may comprise a gas generator for a steering wheel airbag as an inertial mass. In embodiments, the vibration damper comprises a substantially hollow-cylindrical or hollow-frustoconical resilient element which includes an elastomer material and which can be connected to the motor vehicle steering wheel and/or a motor vehicle steering wheel module, and a carrier ring which is connected to the resilient element and which can be connected to the gas generator. In embodiments, the resilient element and the carrier ring are in the form of separate components and/or the resilient element is in the form of a monolithic molded rubber component.
AIRBAG ASSEMBLY
A safety airbag assembly, including: an airbag, having an inflated state and a stowed state; an airbag housing; an airbag cover, arranged between the airbag and the airbag housing and at least partially covering the airbag, wherein a hook-shaped member of the airbag cover passes through a bottom wall of the airbag housing from a first side of the airbag housing to a second side of the airbag housing opposite to the first side; and a plurality of locking plates, separated from each other and arranged on a surface of the bottom wall of the airbag housing located on the second side, wherein the locking plates are configured to abut a side surface of the hook-shaped member of the airbag cover so as to prevent the hook-shaped member from moving from the second side to the first side of the airbag housing and from being separated from the airbag housing.
Steering device
A steering device for steering a vehicle includes a movable member, a holding member, an impact absorbing member, a movement driving unit, and a controller. The controller is configured to perform first control and second control by which the movement driving unit is controlled. The first control is a control for moving the movable member along an axial direction of a shaft member within such a range that a front end of at least one of the shaft member and the movable member is located rearward of a space for movement in the front-rear direction of the vehicle. The second control is a control for moving the movable member along the axial direction within such a range that the front end portion is located inside the space for movement.

Support structure for airbag apparatus
A support structure for an airbag apparatus includes an airbag apparatus having a bag holder, a supporting member having a shaft portion, a slider, an annular damper holder, and an annular elastic member. The shaft portion extends in a front-rear direction, while being passed through the bag holder. The shaft portion includes a flange at the rear end. The slider is fitted around the shaft portion to be slidable in the front-rear direction. The damper holder covers part of the slider in the front-rear direction. The elastic member includes protrusions that protrude rearward from the elastic member so as to contact the flange, thereby partially filling a gap between the elastic member and the flange. The protrusions extend radially with an axis of the supporting member serving as a center.
Driver air bag apparatus for vehicle
A driver airbag apparatus for a vehicle is proposed. The driver airbag apparatus includes: the driver airbag apparatus being located at a rear of a steering wheel having an obstacle and configured to be deployed forward of the steering wheel while avoiding the obstacle, an airbag cushion configured to be deployed forward of the steering wheel via a gap between the obstacle and the steering wheel when gas is supplied thereinto; a gas injector located below the airbag cushion and configured to inject the gas into the airbag cushion via a gas outlet; and a diffuser configured to be deployed in the airbag cushion, and covering a part or all of the gas outlet from above the gas outlet and being open at a front portion thereof so as to guide the gas injected via the gas outlet to flow in front of an occupant.
