AIRBAG DEVICE
An airbag device includes an airbag, a case in which the folded airbag is housed, and an airbag cover that covers the folded airbag. An attachment portion of the airbag cover is attached to a peripheral wall portion of the case by a rivet being caused to pass through. The case is such that a vicinity of a boundary region between the peripheral wall portion and a bottom wall portion is curved in an approximate arc in cross-section. The attachment portion includes a protruding portion that protrudes toward the peripheral wall portion side in an end edge farther to a leading end side than a region of penetration of the rivet. The protruding portion is disposed in a position opposing a curved region configuring a boundary region between the peripheral wall portion and the bottom wall portion, and is protruded in such a way as to be oriented farther to a central side of the bottom wall portion than an outer side face of the peripheral wall portion, and an edge on the peripheral wall portion side of a protruding end face is disposed in a state of non-contact with the curved region.
METHOD OF FOLDING AN AIRBAG
In a method of folding a curtain-type side airbag to form an elongate airbag package which defines a longitudinal direction, in one folding step at least portions of the side airbag are rolled around a first winding axis. In another folding step, at least portions of the side airbag are rolled around a second winding axis which is at an angle between 0° and 180° with the first winding axis.

CURTAIN AIRBAG
A curtain airbag capable of improving deployability of an airbag cushion without including a ramp component. The curtain airbag includes a main cushion, provided at an upper side of a pillar of a vehicle along a forward-and-rearward direction of the vehicle and configured to be deployed with inflation thereof, and a guide cushion, connected to a front area of an upper end portion of the main cushion and configured to extend toward a rear of the vehicle, the guide cushion pushing the main cushion toward an inside of the vehicle while being inflated together with the main cushion.

Side air bag device
A side airbag device for restraining an occupant at an early stage by changing a thickness of a chamber includes a cushion formed in a bag shape by combining an outer panel located at an outer side in a vehicle width direction and an inner panel located at an inner side in the vehicle width direction. A baffle spans between the outer panel and the inner panel in an inside of the cushion and partitions the inside of the cushion into a front chamber located at a vehicle front side and a rear chamber located at a vehicle rear side. An inflator is disposed in the rear chamber, and a first tether and a second tether extend from the baffle toward a vehicle rear. The tethers respectively extend from the baffle via both sides of the inflator in the vehicle width direction so as to be connected with a rear end of the cushion.

Automotive airbag systems with a securement wrapper and a packaging wrapper
An inflatable airbag system is disclosed, the inflatable airbag system configured with a securement wrapper and a packaging wrapper, the securement wrapper retaining an inflatable airbag cushion of the inflatable airbag system in a packaging state during assembly of the packaging wrapper to the inflatable airbag system. The securement wrapper prevents or reduces the incidence of excursion of the inflatable airbag cushion from the appropriate packaging state during assembly.
Vehicle seat
In a vehicle seat, a back pad outer skin covering a surface of a back pad includes a first portion covering a surface of one part, including a side face, of a bolster pad part, and second portions covering a surface of another part that is different from the one part of the bolster pad part. A bound part is formed by binding to each other mutually adjacent end parts of the first portion and the second portions and extremity parts of expansive force transmission webbings having base portions fixed to a frame, the bound part being capable of breaking when an airbag is made to expand. A non-stretchable cloth member is disposed on a reverse side of specific outer skin portions, covering a front face of the bolster pad part, of the second portions.
CURTAIN AIRBAG FOR VEHICLE
A curtain airbag for a vehicle comprising: an airbag main body, an air chamber defined by the airbag main body; and a strip-shaped component, abutting the airbag main body. The strip-shaped component is electrically conductive, and is configured to deform or break when the airbag main body is twisted so that resistance of the strip-shaped component changes.
