This invention relates to any field where crafts (such as avionics) where inhabitants of volumes like passage compartments can be found where the area is subject to extreme conditions such as explosion, fire or other traumatic activity linked with a crash, and more specifically a pressurized dual-compartment canister or anti-trauma apparatus for the storage, mixing, and blast-release of a neutralizing chemical compound within the environment of the volume in a craft placed adjacent to the volume for the blast release of a quickly expanding and quickly retracting product.

An airbag apparatus may include: a first chamber connected to an inflator, and supporting the head of a passenger in case of a head-on collision of a vehicle; a second chamber connected to one side of the first chamber, and suppressing the head of the passenger from moving in a diagonal direction in case of an oblique collision of the vehicle; a communication tube formed on the first chamber to introduce gas of the first chamber into the second chamber, and having a tightening channel formed along the circumference thereof; and a valve tether including: a tether ring installed through the inside of the tightening channel; and a tether puller connected to the tether ring to pull the tether ring in one direction, and closing the communication tube by pulling the tether ring when the first chamber is completely deployed.
PASSENGER PROTECTION APPARATUS
A passenger protection apparatus for a vehicle includes an inflator and an airbag body. The inflator is configured to generate gas upon receiving a predetermined actuating signal. The airbag body is folded and configured to deploy by supplying the gas from the inflator to the airbag body. The airbag body includes a predetermined area on which adhesive is applied. An adhesive force of the adhesive is exerted by heat of the gas from the inflator during deployment of the airbag body, so that the predetermined area adheres to an adherend at a desired position.

Some embodiments may comprise an aspirating airbag cushion assembly comprising an airbag cushion housing, an aspiration housing coupled to the airbag cushion housing and comprising an aspiration inlet configured to allow for receipt of ambient air into an airbag cushion, and an inflation module slidably coupled to the aspiration housing. The inflation module may comprise an inflator and one or more inflation tubes or other conduits fluidly coupled with the inflator and configured to deliver inflation gas from the inflator into the airbag cushion.
Thrust neutral inflation assembly and methods of use
An inflation assembly for use within a vehicle. The inflation assembly is configured to deliver gas from a pressure source to the one or more inflatable devices. The inflation assembly includes a fitting that engages with the pressure source and receives gas from the pressure source. The fitting includes outlet ports that are oriented to direct the gas away from the fitting and into hoses that lead to one or more inflatable devices. The outlet ports are configured to release gas in outward directions such that reactive forces that are applied to the fitting by the released gas are neutralized. This prevents the pressure source from moving and potentially injuring a person or damaging the vehicle.
Airbags Including Inflator Assemblies
Airbag inflator system including a housing defining a flow passage leading into an interior of an airbag). A reverse flow valve is arranged at an inlet end region and selectively enables connection of the flow passage to ambient atmosphere dependent on a pressure differential on opposite sides of the reverse flow valve. A gas generator is arranged in connection with the housing. An activation system provides a signal to the gas generator to cause generation of gas. An aspirator is arranged between the reverse flow valve and the outlet end region and includes an inlet portion alongside the reverse flow valve and an aspiration portion partly separated from the inlet portion to define at least one opening in flow communication with the gas generator. The aspirator is preferably configured to generate gas flow in accordance with the Prandtl-Meyer effect.
PROCESS AND METHOD FOR THE PROTECTION INHABITANTS OF A VOLUME IN A CRAFT USING AN ANTI-EXPLOSION AND/OR AN ANTI-TRAUMA DEVICE
This invention relates to any field where crafts (such as avionics) where inhabitants of volumes like passage compartments can be found where the area is subject to extreme conditions such as explosion, fire or other traumatic activity linked with a crash, and more specifically a process and method for the protection of inhabitants or passengers in the volume in the craft using a system for the protection of the inhabitants or passengers in the volume using both an anti-trauma apparatus for blast release of a first chemical within the volume for shock protection and for an anti-explosion apparatus for the blast-release of a neutralizing chemical compound within the fuel tank reservoir in a craft to neutralize the inflammability and explosion capacity of the fuel in the tank to avoid detonations and damage to an adjacent volume.
