FRONT STRUCTURE OF VEHICLE BODY

A front structure of a vehicle is provided and includes a first cowl panel that extends in a panel shape in a width direction of the vehicle, having a lower end coupled to an upper end of a dash panel, having an upper end bending toward a front of the vehicle and extending up to behind a lower end of a front windshield glass. A second cowl panel extends in an panel shape in the width direction of the vehicle, disposed under the first cowl panel, has an upper end that extends forward and is coupled to the lower end of the front windshield glass, has a lower end coupled to the first cowl panel, and forms a member that extends in the width direction of the vehicle behind the lower end of the front windshield glass together with the first cowl panel by being coupled to the upper end of the first cowl panel.

Component-integrated tailgate handle switch for vehicle

A vehicle is provided that includes a wiper-integrated tailgate handle switch mounted to a window glass of a tailgate. The wiper-integrated tailgate handle switch includes a tailgate handle switch, which is configured to press a current carrying switch arranged in the internal space thereof using the height of an insertion space defined by a difference in height between transverse and longitudinal bodies of a handle switch housing, and a wiper. Therefore, a degree of freedom in design of the tailgate is increased which improves the aesthetic of the tailgate by removing the tailgate handle switch from the tailgate.

A wiper device is provided. An operating range of each of two sets of wiper arm units can be properly restricted. A first wiper arm unit is prevented from colliding with a first front pillar or a dash panel when a first output shaft of a first speed reduction mechanism has rotated beyond a first control angle, and a second wiper arm unit is prevented from colliding with a second front pillar or the dash panel when a second output shaft of a second speed reduction mechanism has rotated beyond a second control angle.

Assembly for attaching a windshield wiper motor to a laminated windshield

A windshield assembly includes a laminated windshield provided with a cutout and a motor mounting plate secured to the laminated windshield over the cutout. The motor mounting plate includes a first mounting area. An exterior motor cover plate is secured on an exterior side of the laminated windshield and overlays the cutout in facing relation with the motor mounting plate. The exterior motor cover includes a second mounting area in alignment with the first mounting area. The structure distributes forces encountered by the wiper and motor over a large area on the glass. Also, due to a small footprint, the view through the windshield is less obstructed. The structure also eliminates the need for drilling/aligning holes in laminated glass.

Brushless wiper motor

Since a shape of a stator 44 is made mirror symmetric with respect to a rotor 45 as a 4-pole/6-slot type, rotational deflection of the rotor 45 can be suppressed. As the minimum number of poles and the minimum number of slots, which can suppress the rotational deflection of the rotor 45, a frequency of magnetic noises approaches a frequency of mechanical noises. Thus, it is possible to integrate the whole noises generated by the DR-side wiper motor 21 into a low frequency range thereof, and to make the acoustic sensitivity (dB) of a vehicle interior smaller. Since the stator 44 is fixed inside a housing 40 and mounting legs fixed to a vehicle body fixed portion are provided in the housing 40, the stator 40, which is a source of the magnetic noises, can be fixed to a vehicle via only the housing 40. Therefore, a brushless wiper motor with quietness improved further can be designed.

Windscreen wiper assembly for a vehicle

A windscreen assembly (10) for a vehicle 1 is described, comprising:a windscreen panel group (11, 12) comprising a windscreen panel (11) and a support structure (12) to support the windscreen panel (11); anda wiper group (20. The wiper group (20) comprises a wiper (13), a drive motor group (14) for actuating the wiper (13), a tank (15) for a liquid and a pump (16) operationally connected to the tank (15). The wiper group (20) is supported by the windscreen panel group (11, 12) and said windscreen assembly (10) is configured to be removably coupled to said vehicle.

Seal assembly and the assembling method thereof

A seal assembly (100) is provided, which is used to seal the connection region between a glass (103) and a shaft assembly (108) passing through the glass (103). The shaft assembly (108) may comprise a shaft (113) and a threaded bushing (114) around the shaft (113). The seal assembly (100) may comprise an outer seal (101), which has a body portion (115) supported on the glass (103), and further comprises at least one sealing portion (116) to form at least one sealing area (119, 121); and the seal assembly (100) further comprises an inner rotatable seal (106), which has a body portion (122) with a thread (128) for engaging a thread (110) of the bushing (114), and which further comprises at least one second sealing portion (123) to form at least one sealing area (124). Therein, the body portion (115) of the outer seal (101) and the body portion (122) of the inner rotatable seal (106) have corresponding threads (102, 107) for engaging the outer seal (101) with the inner rotatable seal (106). The assembly (100) can prevent the water leakage at the connection region between the wiper and the vehicle body effectively. The assembly (100) is easy and convenient to be installed, with high reliability, and has an advantage in appearance.
