ASSEMBLY FOR CLEANING A CAMERA
An assembly cleans an optically translucent cover of a camera. The camera is arranged below the optically translucent cover in order to be protected against environmental influences. A wiper blade is guided over the cover to clean the cover, and the wiper blade is connected to a mounted linkage, by use of which the wiper blade can be moved over the cover between first and second positions. The linkage is coupled to an electromagnetic drive, and the drive has a drive element connected to the linkage such that the drive element linearly moves the linkage. The magnetic field built up by the coil is coupled to the drive element such that a pushing force acts on the drive element. The pushing force is transmitted to the wiper blade via the linkage to bring the wiper blade from the first position into the second position in a linear movement.

Imaging device for vehicle, lighting device for vehicle and foreign substance removal system for vehicle
A camera module shoots a satisfactory image by suppressing the adherence of water droplets to a part in a light transmitting cover through which imaging light is transmitted. Provided are an outer casing comprising a housing having an opening and a light transmitting cover for closing the opening; and a camera module arranged inside the outer casing. A part of the light transmitting cover is provided as a transmission window through which imaging light incident on the camera module is transmitted and a restriction part for restricting the inflow of water droplets toward the transmission window is provided to the light transmitting cover.
Adaptive cruise control
A computer includes a processor and a memory storing instructions executable by the processor to receive a speed of windshield wipers of a vehicle, adjust a setting for an adaptive cruise control of the vehicle based on the speed of the windshield wipers, and instruct a propulsion of the vehicle to operate in accordance with the adjusted setting of the adaptive cruise control.
Method of preventing a windshield wiper from freezing to a windshield and related circuit
A method of preventing a windshield wiper from freezing to a windshield of a vehicle is provided. The method broadly includes the steps of: (a) receiving information relating to an ambient condition of the vehicle; (b) switching power to a motor for driving the windshield wiper in a first direction if the received information indicates an adverse ambient condition of the vehicle; (c) sensing current drawn by the motor; (d) comparing an initial sensed current drawn by the motor when power is initially switched to the motor to a subsequent sensed current drawn by the motor a period after power is initially switched to the motor; and (e) periodically reversing the motor for driving the windshield wiper in a second direction or the first direction until the subsequent sensed current is less than the initial sensed current.

Wiper control method and wiper control device
An electric motor is subjected to PWM duty control based on a target speed (tgt spd) set according to a position of a wiper blade. After a deceleration start position of wiping operation, the electric motor is driven at a PWM duty value (sld sta dutyKsd) obtained by multiplying a PWM duty value (sld sta duty) at the deceleration start position by a predetermined deceleration coefficient (Ksd) set according to the blade position. The deceleration coefficient (Ksd) is set according to the position of the wiper blade based on a ratio (tgt spd/pek tgt spd) between the target speed (pek tgt spd) of the wiper blade at the start of deceleration and the target speed (tgt spd) of the wiper blade.

WIPER DEVICE
A wiper device is provided. An operating range of each of two sets of wiper arm units can be properly restricted. A first wiper arm unit is prevented from colliding with a first front pillar or a dash panel when a first output shaft of a first speed reduction mechanism has rotated beyond a first control angle, and a second wiper arm unit is prevented from colliding with a second front pillar or the dash panel when a second output shaft of a second speed reduction mechanism has rotated beyond a second control angle.
FRONT WIPER DEVICE FOR AUTOMOTIVE VEHICLE AND ASSEMBLY PROCESS
The subject of the invention is a windscreen-wiper device (1) for a front glazed panel of a motor vehicle, comprising at least one motor unit (2), drive means (4) and a support plate (10), said motor unit (2) comprising first fixing elements (12) capable of interacting with second fixing elements (13) provided in the support plate (10) so as to adopt a position of locking by insertion then rotation of a quarter turn about the axis Z of the drive shaft (3) of said motor unit (2).
