Automatic vehicle window cleaning method and apparatus

An automatic vehicle window cleaning method and apparatus includes obtaining a vehicle window image; determining a dark channel image corresponding to a single frame of vehicle window image; further determining, based on a quantity of pixels whose gray values exceed a preset gray threshold in the dark channel image and/or definition of the dark channel image, that a first-type foreign object exists on a vehicle window, and/or determining, based on RGB values of pixels in i consecutive frames of vehicle window images, that a second-type foreign object exists on the vehicle window, and controlling a cleaning tool to remove a foreign object. The foreign object includes the first-type foreign object and/or the second-type foreign object.

PIVOT ASSEMBLY FOR A WIPER SYSTEM

The present invention relates to a pivot assembly for a vehicle wiper system. The assembly includes a pivot shaft rotatably supported in central passage of a pivot housing, a lever coupled to the pivot shaft, and a cover. The cover includes a tubular portion, cylindrical step and a transition portion integrally formed between the tubular portion and the cylindrical step. The cover further includes a cantilever snap extending from inner surface of the transition portion, in longitudinal direction of the cover. A protrusion is formed in the cylindrical step at a location adjacent to the snap. The tubular portion of the cover is received over pivot shaft and a locking profile formed at free end of the snap is received in a recess formed in top end of the pivot housing, thereby restricting longitudinal and rotational movements of the cover with respect to the pivot housing.

WIPER CONTROL APPARATUS AND WIPER APPARATUS FOR VEHICLE
20250121799 · 2025-04-17 ·

A wiper apparatus for a vehicle reciprocally moves a wiper between a lower reverse position and an upper reverse position by reciprocally rotating a rotational shaft of a wiper motor. A wiper control apparatus for the wiper apparatus includes a processor that controls operation of the wiper. The processor switches operation of the wiper depending on a moving direction of the wiper when the processor receives a notification of prediction that the vehicle will collide with a person while the wiper is operating.
