Windshield wiper module
A wiper module assembly for a vehicle liftgate having an inner panel with a spoiler formed as a one-piece part of the inner panel. An outer panel of the liftgate is connected to the inner panel to form an exterior surface of the liftgate. A cavity is formed in part of the spoiler and receives a carrier forming a removable module connected to the cavity of the vehicle liftgate. The carrier includes a wiper, motor and drive assembly for operating a wiper for a window on the liftgate.

Wiper with ice removal apparatus
Apparatuses and methods for removing ice from a windshield. A windshield wiper includes a wiper assembly, a scrubber assembly, and an engaging assembly. The wiper assembly includes a wiper support structure and a wiper blade attached to the wiper support structure. The scrubber assembly includes a scrubber support structure, an elongated scrubber element and a motor. The scrubber element is movably attached to the scrubber support structure and extends between a first end and a spaced apart second end along a central longitudinal axis. The scrubber element can have a hardness value sufficient to remove ice from the windshield. The motor is mounted to the scrubber support structure and is engaged with the scrubber element to move the scrubber element to remove ice. An engaging assembly can be coupled with the wiper assembly and the scrubber assembly to raise and lower the scrubber assembly with respect to the wiper assembly.

LAMINATED PANE WITH INTEGRATED ELECTRICAL ATTACHMENT PART
A laminated pane having at least one integrated electrical attachment part, includes an inner pane having an inner side and an outer side, an outer pane having an inner side and an outer side, a thermoplastic intermediate layer, which joins the inner side of the outer pane and the inner side of the inner pane to one another, and at least one recess in the inner pane and/or the outer pane, wherein the electrical attachment part is inserted into the recess and is situated completely within the laminated pane, the laminated pane is a vehicle laminated pane having a three-dimensional bend, and the recess is introduced into the inner pane and/or the outer pane by laser processes.
VEHICLE WIPER SYSTEM
A vehicle wiper system includes a plurality of first sensor elements, an adjustable wiper, and a second sensor. The plurality of first sensor elements is configured to be disposed at a periphery of a vehicle window to form a boundary. The adjustable wiper has a distal end and a proximal end, and an adjustment mechanism that enables a distance between the distal end and the proximal end to change. The adjustable wiper is configured to travel along a windshield to define a wiper path. The second sensor element is disposed adjacent the distal end, and is configured to operate in conjunction with the first sensor element to adjust the adjustable wiper such that a distance between the distal end and the proximal end changes, and a distance between the distal end of the wiper and the boundary remains substantially consistent as the adjustable wiper travels along the wiper path.
Wiper system having resilient interface assembly for worm-driven reduction gear motor
A wiper system includes at least one wiper assembly, a linkage assembly connected to the at least one wiper assembly, and at least one worm-driven reduction gear motor having a housing, an output shaft rotatably supported by the housing, and a motor arm connected to the output shaft and the linkage assembly to drive the at least one wiper assembly in repeated wiping motion across a surface to be wiped. The wiper system also includes a resilient interface assembly disposed between the housing and the motor arm to provide resistance to loading deflection and damp axial and cross-axial movement of the output shaft of the motor.

Environmental scene condition detection
A method of processing data includes receiving, at a computing device, data representative of an image captured by an image sensor. The method also includes determining a first scene clarity score. The method further includes determining whether the first scene clarity score satisfies a threshold, and if the first scene clarity score satisfies the threshold, determining a second scene clarity score based on second data extracted from the data.
ELECTROMAGNETIC WINDSHIELD WIPER SYSTEM
A windshield wiper system for use on an aircraft includes a controller and a wiper assembly including a wiper arm, a wiper blade, and a moving block. Further, the windshield wiper system includes a rail assembly including a rail assembly rack, a plurality of electromagnets, and an electrical interface. The electrical interface and the plurality of electromagnets induce a force on the moving block of the wiper assembly, causing the wiper assembly to sweep across the windshield of the aircraft. The controller is coupled to the rail assembly and the controller is configured to direct the motion of the wiper assembly through command signals to the rail assembly.
