Methods and apparatus for relay aided beam management in a vehicle communication system are provided. The relay comprises an antenna system including an internal antenna located inside a vehicle and an external antenna located outside the vehicle. The relay further comprises a transceiver operably connected to the antenna system, the transceiver configured to receive, from a base station (BS), a first signal via the external antenna of the antenna system, and receive, from the vehicle, configuration information including at least one of a vehicle speed, or a position of a window of the vehicle or windshield wiper. The relay further comprises a processor operably connected to the antenna system and the transceiver, the processor configured to generate a second signal based on (i) the configuration information and (ii) the first signal, wherein the transceiver is further configured to transmit, to a user equipment (UE), the second signal via the internal antenna.
Device and method for wiping and/or cleaning a glazed surface of a vehicle using an active liquid
The invention relates to a device for wiping and cleaning a glazed surface (S) of an automotive vehicle, comprising at least: —one direct current electric motor (7) rotating in a single direction and capable of moving at least one “wiper arm” unit (BB) formed by a drive arm (1) and a wiper blade (2) by means of a linkage (14), said “wiper arm” unit being moved according to an angular reciprocating movement between a rest position (11) and an end position (12) opposite the rest position (11) in relation to an angular sector (13) on the glazed surface (S), —a device (15) for dispensing an active liquid on the glazed surface (S), the active liquid preferably being a de-icing liquid or an insect-removing liquid, —a control means (10) configured to control, on the one hand, the operation of the motor (7) in order to stop the “wiper arm” unit (BB) for a non-zero duration and, on the other hand, the dispensing of the active liquid by the dispensing device (15). The invention also relates to a wiping and cleaning method implementing such a device.

Camera for a vehicle including a wiping member
An imaging device for a vehicle and a vehicle are disclosed. The imaging device includes: a casing, a camera, a wiping member, and a drive device. The casing includes a casing body and a transparent cover disposed to the casing body, and the transparent cover is rotatable relative to the casing body. The camera is disposed in the casing and configured to obtain image information outside the transparent cover through the transparent cover. The wiping member is disposed to the casing and is stationary relative to the camera. The drive device is connected with the transparent cover and configured to drive the transparent cover to rotate to enable the wiping member to wipe an outer surface of the transparent cover.
ELECTROMAGNETIC WINDSHIELD WIPER SYSTEM
An electromagnetic wiper system for a windshield of a vehicle includes a linear actuator, a wiper-arrangement, and control circuitry. The linear actuator includes at least one guide rail having permanent magnets and an electromagnetic moving block. The electromagnetic moving block includes at least one perforation that surrounds the at least one guide rail and at least one electromagnetic coil that surrounds the at least one perforation. The wiper-arrangement includes a wiper arm and a wiper blade, wherein at least the wiper arm is coupled to the electromagnetic moving block. The control circuitry controls a linear motion of the electromagnetic moving block along the at least one guide rail to steer the wiper arm that is coupled to the electromagnetic moving block back and forth across a length of the windshield to the windshield, wherein the electromagnetic moving block induces minimal friction during the linear motion.
VEHICLE MONITOR CLEARING DEVICE
A vehicle monitor clearing system includes an air source for generating an air flow at a desired pressure. A channel is connected to the air source. The channel receives the air flow from the air source and delivers it to at least one nozzle connected to the channel. The system further includes at least one nozzle for discharging the air flow toward a vehicle monitor located proximate to the nozzle. The system operates by applying forced air at the vehicle monitor, clearing road spray accumulated on a surface of the vehicle monitor.
Rotary Wiper System
