WIPER DEVICE
A wiper motor control circuit carries out control in which a driving circuit generates, and supplies to a wiper motor, a voltage that eliminates deviation between a target speed and an actual speed of an output shaft. In a case in which a state in which the deviation between the target speed and the actual speed is greater than or equal to a predetermined threshold value continues for a predetermined time or more, the wiper motor control circuit carries out control that lowers the target speed and in which the driving circuit generates, and supplies to the wiper motor, a voltage that eliminates deviation between the lowered target speed and the actual speed of the output shaft.
WIPER DEVICE
In a case in which an instruction to change to a wiping speed, which is determined from a target speed map, is inputted at a time during control of a rotational speed of a wiper motor that is based on a target speed map, a microcomputer gradually changes the rotational speed of the wiper motor from a rotational speed determined from a target speed map to a rotational speed determined by a target speed map. Further, in a case in which a wiper switch is operated while wiper blades exist within a switching prohibited region, the microcomputer switches a target speed map that is used from a time that the wiper blades reach reversal positions.

VEHICLE WIPER CONTROL SYSTEM FOR TARGET AREA CLEANING
A method of monitoring a windshield of a vehicle including: capturing an image of a windshield of a vehicle; determining that debris is located on the windshield in response to the image of the windshield; determining a location of the debris on the windshield; determining to remove the debris from the windshield; and actuating a drive motor of a wiper system to clean the location, the drive motor being operably connected to a wiper arm having a wiper blade.
DEVICE FOR PROTECTING AN OPTICAL SENSOR
The invention relates to a device for protecting an optical sensor for a motor vehicle, said optical sensor comprising an optic, a casing mounted to rotate about an axis of rotation (Al) and having a housing configured to receive the optical sensor, an optical element rigidly attached to the casing and configured to be arranged in the field of vision of the optical sensor, and an actuator coupled to the casing in order to rotate the casing and the optical element, the actuator comprising a rotor and a stator configured such that actuator is a motor with an internal rotor.
METHOD FOR OPERATING A CAPACITIVE RAIN SENSOR OF A MOTOR VEHICLE, MEASUREMENT SIGNAL INTERFERENCE SUPPRESSION DEVICE, AND MOTOR VEHICLE COMPRISING SUCH A MEASUREMENT SIGNAL INTERFERENCE SUPPRESSION DEVICE
The invention relates to a method for operating a capacitive motor vehicle rain sensor, which has an electrically conductive structure and which is designed to generate an analog measurement signal corresponding to a rain intensity and output same as an output signal, wherein the method has the steps of detecting at least one interference signal, which causes an interference with the analog measurement signal and leads to a measurement signal affected by interference, at least partly suppressing the interference of the measurement signal affected by interference in at least one signal processing step on the basis of the detected interference signal and an output of an at least partially interference-suppressed output signal. The invention also relates to a device for carrying out the method and to a motor vehicle comprising the device.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR THERMAL MANAGEMENT OF VEHICLE SENSOR DEVICES
Methods and systems for thermal management of sensors of a vehicle. The system includes a sensor that is attached to a vehicle, a temperature monitor configured to collect temperature data corresponding to the sensor, a processor, and a sensor cleaning subsystem. The sensor cleaning subsystem includes a cleaning fluid reservoir and a port that is positioned to direct cleaning fluid from the reservoir to the sensor. The processor is configured to: receive temperature data corresponding to the sensor from the temperature monitor, determine that a current temperature of the sensor is greater than a first threshold temperature, and cause the sensor cleaning subsystem to initiate a cleaning cycle and direct the cleaning fluid to the sensor to cool down the sensor in response to determining that the current temperature of the sensor is greater than the first threshold temperature.
INFORMATION PROCESSING SYSTEM, PROGRAM, AND INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD
An information processing system includes a vehicle and a server that is able to communicate with the vehicle. The server stores weather information indicating the weather. The vehicle receives the weather information from the server and acquires an image in which a scene outside the vehicle is captured when an operating state of an onboard device is not a prescribed operating state corresponding to the weather indicated by the weather information. The vehicle or the server detects the weather from the image. The server updates the weather information to indicate the weather detected from the image when the weather detected from the image and the weather indicated by the weather information do not match and provides information to a client using the updated weather information.
ACTIVE VEHICLE CONTROL NOTIFICATION METHOD AND SYSTEM
An active vehicle control notification method may include receiving external data from a server by a vehicle, determining whether the external data received from the server and a control driving condition of the vehicle are matched, by the vehicle, when the external data and the control driving condition are not matched, correcting the external data based on the control driving condition inside the vehicle, and uploading the corrected external data to the server.
Wiper System
The technology relates to a wiper systems. For instance, a system may include a sensor including a sensor housing and a housing window in the sensor housing. The system may also include a rotating drive mechanism. A first portion of the rotating drive mechanism is positioned adjacent to a top of the housing window. The system also includes a plurality of pulleys, and the rotating drive mechanism may be wrapped around at least a portion of the pulleys. The system also includes a wiper attached to the rotating drive mechanism and a motor. The motor may be configured to rotate at least one of the pulleys in order to cause at least the first portion of the rotating drive mechanism to rotate in a first direction. As a result, the wiper may move across the housing window from an initial position to a second position in order to move contaminants on the housing window.
