VEHICLE CLEANING SYSTEM
20190344758 · 2019-11-14 · ·

A vehicle cleaning system includes a wiper motor, a vehicle wiper, a washer nozzle, a washer pump, and a controller. The wiper motor forwardly and reversely rotates an output shaft. The vehicle wiper is coupled to the output shaft and reciprocally wipes a surface for wiping in accordance with forward and reverse rotations of the output shaft. The washer nozzle is arranged on the vehicle wiper. The washer pump feeds a washer fluid to the washer nozzle. The controller controls the wiper motor and the washer pump. The controller drives the washer pump so that the washer fluid is ejected in a direction in which accumulated snow is present based on a determination that the vehicle wiper is in a constrained state caused by accumulated snow.

A vehicle wiper device includes a first driving lever, a second driving lever, a first driven lever, a second driven lever, a first wiper arm, a first wiper blade, a second wiper arm, and a second wiper blade. The first driving lever is pivoted by a driving force of a first drive source. The second driving lever is pivoted by a driving force of a second drive source. A pivoting speed of the second wiper blade from a lower reversal position is set to be greater than a pivoting speed of the first wiper blade from a lower reversal position.

METHODS OF OPERATING A REAR WIPER SYSTEM AND A FULL DISPLAY MIRROR SYSTEM OF A VEHICLE

A method of operating a rear wiper system of a vehicle that includes monitoring an operational status of a full display mirror system of the vehicle, and automatically activating the rear wiper system when the full display mirror system is switched from an active mode to an inactive mode.

VEHICULAR CLEANER SYSTEM, VEHICLE HAVING VEHICULAR CLEANER SYSTEM, VEHICULAR CLEANER AND VEHICLE HAVING VEHICULAR CLEANER

A vehicular cleaner system (1) for cleaning a to-be-cleaned object (100), wherein: the vehicular cleaner system (1) is provided with a tank (11) that accommodates a cleaning liquid, a pump (12) that pressure-feeds the cleaning liquid inside the tank (11), a high-pressure-air generation unit (2) that generates high-pressure air, a first ejection port that sprays the cleaning liquid toward a cleaning surface of the to-be-cleaned object (100), a second ejection port that sprays the high-pressure air toward the cleaning surface, and a controller (4) and vehicle ECU (40) that control the spraying of the cleaning liquid and the spraying of the high-pressure air; and the controller (4) and the vehicle ECU (40) perform control so as to initiate the spraying of the high-pressure air from the second ejection port after spraying of the cleaning liquid from the first ejection port has been initiated.

WINDSHIELD WIPER SYSTEM WITH SECTOR GEAR

A windshield wiper system (WWS) is provided. The WWS includes a wiper blade movable across a maximum sweep angle, a sector gear, a wiper arm coupled at opposite ends thereof to the wiper blade and the sector gear and a bi-directional motor. The bi-directional motor includes a motor shaft and a pinion gear disposed on the motor shaft to engage with the sector gear. The bi-directional motor is operable to drive rotations of the pinion and sector gears in opposite directions via the motor shaft to thereby drive opposite movements of the wiper blade via the wiper arm, respectively, without risking loss of engagement between the pinion and sector gears.

A wiper control technique is provided that can prevent a windshield from being damaged by a falling wiper blade during a wiper parking operation, even when a wiper arm is in a retreat position where the blade is raised and held away from the windshield. In one embodiment, the wiper arm is stopped for a predetermined time interval at a predetermined pause position when the wiper arm is positioned above a parked position and at the retreat position during the wiper parking operation, while the wiper arm is being swung downward toward a lower reversal position. The pause position is a position at which the wiper arm is able to fall toward the windshield to return to a base position. After a lapse of the predetermined time interval, the wiper arm is swung to the parked position.

MOTOR CONTROL DEVICE, MOTOR DEVICE, WIPER DEVICE, AND MOTOR CONTROL METHOD

A motor control device includes a driving control part and an upper limit value setting part. The driving control part controls motor driving by switching between a first driving mode and a second driving mode, and controls an output duty ratio so as not to exceed a duty ratio upper limit value. The upper limit value setting part sets, as the duty ratio upper limit value, a low rotation duty ratio upper limit value, a maximum duty ratio upper limit value corresponding to a maximum output value, and an upper limit value of a transition period from the low rotation duty ratio upper limit value to the maximum duty ratio upper limit value, and changes slope information indicating a change amount in the upper limit value of the transition period according to the driving mode when switching between the first driving mode and the second driving mode.
