WIPER CONTROL DEVICE
A wiper blade which starts an operation from a reversal position different from a lower reversal position and an upper reversal position with one of the lower reversal position and the upper reversal position as a next movement destination, a wiper control circuit generates a second correction target speed table by correcting the upper/lower reversal position target speed table defining a target rotational speed of an output shaft according to a change in a rotational angle of the output shaft of the wiper motor in a case in which a wiper blade is moved between a lower reversal position and an upper reversal position, based on the different reversal position and the position of the next movement destination of the wiper blade, and controls the rotational speed of the output shaft based on the second correction target speed table.

CONFIGURABLE VARIABLE SWEEP VARIABLE SPEED WIPER SYSTEM
A configurable windshield wiper system for a variable sweep angle and/or variable sweep speed. The system includes a bidirectional motor, a gearbox, the gearbox having and input shaft operably coupled to the motor and an output shaft; the gear box configured to ratiometrically step down the number of turns at its output shaft relative to its input shaft; a wiper arm for sweeping a surface of a windshield, the wiper arm operably coupled to an output of the gearbox; and a controller in operable communication with the motor, the controller configured to execute an algorithm to control the position and speed of the motor to achieve a configured sweep angle and configured sweep speed for the wiper arm.
Magnetically-Driven Actuator Assembly
An actuator assembly includes a driver element, a driven element, and a panel disposed between the driver element and the driven element. The driver element has a first magnetic field generator configured to generate a rotating magnetic field. The driven element has a second magnetic field generator disposed thereon. The panel physically separating the driver element and the driven element, such that in response to the rotating magnetic field, the driven element is rotated relative to the panel.
ACCELEROMETER-BASED VEHICLE WIPER BLADE MONITORING
Method and apparatus are disclosed for accelerometer-based windshield wiper monitoring. A vehicle includes an accelerometer affixed to a vehicle window, a windshield wiper to actuate across the vehicle window, and a processor. The processor is configured to determine an acoustic profile corresponding to the windshield wiper based on structure-borne audio data received from the accelerometer, determine whether a bandlimited decibel level of the acoustic profile exceeds a threshold, and responsively provide an alert via a vehicle display.

ACTIVE SURROUND VIEW SYSTEM WITH SELF-CLEANING MECHANISM
A surround view system for a vehicle includes a plurality of brackets adjacent interior surfaces of windows of the vehicle. A plurality of camera assemblies are provided within the brackets. Each camera assembly includes a lens having a field of view extending through one of the windows for capturing images of a vehicle exterior. The images captured by the lenses through the windows are integrated together to form a 360 view of the vehicle exterior.
CLEANING APPARATUS
A cleaning apparatus includes a fluid discharge portion discharging fluid to a cleaning object, a gas discharge portion jetting gas to the cleaning object, a fluid tank, a fluid pump supplying the fluid via a fluid passage, a gas pump supplying gas via a gas passage, a control unit, a housing at which a part of the fluid passage and a part of the gas passage are provided, and a valve element switchable between a closed position at which the gas passage is blocked and an open position at which the gas passage is opened, the valve element including a first surface receiving a fluid pressure in a direction where the valve element is brought to the closed position and including a second surface receiving a gas pressure in a direction where the valve element is brought to the open position in a state where the valve element is closed.
Lens plate
In a lens plate (18) for an optical sensor device in a vehicle, in particular for a rain sensor, with a transmitter-side lens structure (26) and a receiver-side lens structure (32), the transmitter-side lens structure (26) partially is provided with anti-transmission features which in individual regions of the lens plate (18) partially or completely prevent the passage of the light emitted by a light transmitter (14).
Wiper system for a vehicle with a screen wash system
A drive motor for at least one wiper arm intended to wipe a glazed surface of a motor vehicle is disclosed. The motor includes a cam surface linked in concentric rotation with a rotary shaft of the drive motor, and static cam reading means able to cooperate with said cam according to the angular positions occupied by said cam to generate electrical control signals varying as a function of the angular position of the wiper arm on the glazed surface. The cam has a first circular conductive track, a second semi-circular conductive track concentric to the first conductive track and connected to same via a conductive bridge, in which the static reading means are formed by three sliding contacts able to make and break electrical contact with respectively the first and second conductive tracks and the conductive bridge depending on the angular positions occupied by said cam.
