The invention relates to an end piece (11) of a windshield wiper comprising at least one wiper blade (1). Said end piece (11) has a first part (12) and a second part (13) which are connected to each other by a removable attachment means, and a blocking means (28) for preventing the wiper blade (1) from moving relative to the end piece (11), said blocking means (28) comprising a securing device (33) and an actuating element (51). The securing device (33) is designed to pinch the wiper blade (1) and is subject to a force exerted by the actuating element (51). The end piece is for use in motor vehicles.

The invention relates to a connector (6) for assembling a motor vehicle actuating arm with a wiper blade (2), said connector comprising; a transverse pin (8) intended to be linked to an actuating arm, said transverse pin (8) being located transversely between a first and a second lateral wall (10a, 10b) of the connector (6), a lateral connection interface (11) supported by one of the two lateral walls (10a, 10b), characterized in that the connector (6) moreover comprises at least one latching tab (19a, 19b) projecting from the lateral wall (10b) supporting the lateral connection interface (11), said latching tab (19a, 19b) being configured to cooperate with a lateral edge (20) of the connection platform (7).

The backing element having a top portion, and two opposing legs that descend from the top portion, such that each opposing leg has a claw which extends towards the other opposing leg. A gap formed between the claws that is narrower than a width of the wide portion of the wiper strip. The claws, legs, and top portion define a wiper strip cavity sized to receive the wide portion wiper strip.

A wiper blade having a wiper strip having a wide portion and a lip, and an elongate backing element. The backing element having a top portion, and two opposing legs that descend from the top portion, such that each opposing leg has a claw which extends towards the other opposing leg. A gap formed between the claws that is narrower than a width of the wide portion of the wiper strip. The claws, legs, and top portion define a wiper strip cavity sized to receive the wide portion wiper strip.
