Vehicle and control method thereof

A vehicle which contributes to safe autonomous driving by washing the sensor provided in the vehicle by efficiently using a limited capacity washing solution, and a control method thereof. The vehicle includes: a first sensor; a second sensor; a driving device including at least one motor and configured to operate to clean the first sensor and the second sensor; and a controller configured to control the driving device to first wash the first sensor prior to the second sensor based on predetermined rank information when is the controller determines that at least one of the first sensor and the second sensor is contaminated.

SYSTEM FOR CLEANING AT LEAST TWO SENSORS/TRANSMITTERS FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE

The present invention relates to a system for cleaning at least two sensors/transmitters for a motor vehicle, the system comprising at least one first device for projecting a cleaning fluid onto at least one first sensor/transmitter, at least one second device for projecting a cleaning fluid onto at least one second sensor/transmitter, at least one reservoir, at least one circuit for distribution of the cleaning fluid, connecting the reservoir to the first and second projection devices, at least one electronic pump, and at least one control unit, characterized in that the control unit is configured to receive information on a request for activation of the first and/or second projection device(s) in order to determine a theoretical value of at least one operating parameter of a pump.

FOREIGN BODY REMOVAL DEVICE AND DRIVE DEVICE FOR FOREIGN BODY REMOVAL DEVICE

Of the moving directions of the piston, the direction in which high-pressure air is delivered is a delivery direction, and the direction in the opposite direction from the delivery direction is a force accumulation direction. The piston is moved in the force accumulation direction by the moving mechanism, and moved in the delivery direction by the biasing force of the biasing spring in response to the release of the moving force exerted by the moving mechanism. The cylinder is provided with: a piston supporting portion that supports the piston; and a connection protrusion that has a delivery path for delivering the high-pressure air to the nozzle. The inner surface of an end of the piston supporting portion in the delivery direction is formed as a closed surface. The delivery path is located further toward the force accumulation direction than the closed surface is.

The on-board sensor cleaning apparatus is applied to a vehicle having a front camera, a rear camera, a center display, and an electronic inner mirror. A surrounding image obtained through the front camera and the rear camera is displayed on the center display and the electronic inner mirror. The on-board sensor cleaning apparatus includes an ECU, a position information obtaining device, and a cleaning unit. The ECU obtains a visual check probability for an area which includes a position of the vehicle indicated by vehicle position information, from a database. The ECU sets an automatic cleaning start condition based on the obtained visual check probability.
