Enhanced wiper assembly
A wiper assembly for a window of a vehicle and a method of cleaning a window are provided. The wiper assembly includes a wiper blade having a fluid extraction opening, a fluid discharge outlet remote from the wiper blade and a fluid tight conduit connecting the fluid extraction opening to the fluid discharge outlet. The wiper assembly may further include a suction pump configured to draw air and water into the fluid extraction opening and through the fluid tight conduit of the wiper assembly, thereby reducing the amount of water left of the window following wiping and improving visibility for the driver.
LiDAR-Reinigungssystem
The present invention relates to a LiDAR cleaning system (10) comprising an actuator (12) which is configured to displace a cleaning arm (14) along a sensor surface (102) of a LiDAR sensor (100), wherein the cleaning arm (14) has at least one nozzle unit, wherein the LiDAR cleaning system is configured to clean the sensor surface (102) by displacing (18) the cleaning arm (14) and by discharging at least one fluid (20) using the nozzle unit (16).
WIPER SYSTEM
The invention relates to a wiper blade of a wiper system which extends in a longitudinal direction (L) and comprises at least one wiper strip that extends in the longitudinal direction, the wiper blade comprising at least a first channel (78), for the circulation of a first fluid, and a second channel (80), for the circulation of a second fluid, which extend longitudinally in the wiper blade, a connecting channel (82) extending between said channels (78, 80) in such a way that it fluidically connects the first channel with the second channel, the wiper blade being characterised in that it comprises at least one injection device (88) configured to inject the second fluid circulating in the second channel into the first fluid circulating in the first channel, the injection device being arranged at least partly in the connecting channel.
Placement and heating enhancement of windshield wipers for vehicle protection, including rearview mirror wipers
A visibility enhancement system for a vehicle with heating conduit and a method of making a windshield wiper system where a wiper blade is configured to wipe windshield of the vehicle, a wiper blade assembly holds at least one end of the wiper blade, a motor is configured to move the wiper blade upon activation of the visibility enhancement system, and a heating conduit warms the surface of the windshield of the vehicle. The visibility enhancement system may include a wiper blade to wipe a side window of the vehicle, a pair of wiper blades to wipe a side rearview mirror. The heating conduit may comprise of any of the following: heating filaments that warms the wiper blade; heating filaments running within the windshield; an air vent that runs inside the wiper blade; and an air vent that runs parallel to the wiper blade.
Surface wiper system
A surface wiper device which includes a carrier which supports a blade. The carrier attaches to a wiper arm which urges the blade against and moves the blade across the surface of a windshield. The carrier further provides a plurality of outlets each of which communicate between a hollow passage inside the carrier and a location on the external surface of the carrier. A fluid can be delivered from a fluid source fluidicly coupled to the hollow passage of the carrier under sufficient pressure to be dispersed from the plurality of outlets onto the windshield during movement of the blade. A fluid heater can be thermally coupled with the fluid delivered from the fluid source to the plurality of outlets to increase the temperature of the fluid dispersed onto the windshield. The fluid can be sufficiently heated to generate a heated gas.
WINDSHIELD-WIPING APPARATUS, IN PARTICULAR FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE
A windshield-wiping apparatus (10) is proposed, in particular for a motor vehicle, comprising a wiping element (18) that can be moved over a windshield (12) to be wiped. According to the present invention, a compressed gas generator (14) generating compressed gas is provided, and the wiping element (18) is configured so as to pass over the windshield (12) in a contactless manner.
System for removing water from windshields
Disclosed is a wiper device that is comprised of a system of hoses that connect to windshield wipers on one end and to a vacuum tank on the other end. The motor inside the vacuum tank is configured to suction both air and water through the system of hoses. A plurality of openings on the sidewall of the windshield wipers is able to channel air and water through the cavity of the body of the windshield wipers to the system of hoses.
