Wiper assembly and method
A wiper system incorporates a wiper motor provided with a wireless interface to provide electric power and control signals to the wiper motor. Thus, a direct electric/signal wire connection to the wiper motor is eliminated. A wireless transmitter may be provided within a first body portion of a vehicle and a wireless receiver and a wiper motor are provided in a second body portion of the vehicle. The second body portion may be moveable relative to the first body portion, such as, for example, a lift gate moving relative to a body opening.
Motor Vehicle Wiper and Motor Vehicle Equipped Therewith
A motor vehicle wiper has a wiper arm with a wiper blade and is in operative connection with a wiper shaft. The wiper arm is fastened on a bearing part that is movably supported on the wiper shaft.
WIPER SYSTEM FOR VEHICLE
A wiper system for a vehicle includes: a glass wiper disposed on a window glass of a vehicle; a motor providing driving power to the glass wiper; a camera capturing images of surroundings of the vehicle; and a camera wiper disposed on a camera lens of the camera and connected to the motor by a linkage to operate in association with the glass wiper such that the camera wiper swings back and forth over the camera lens while the glass wiper swings back and forth over the window glass.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CONTROL OF REAR WIPER
A system for a motor vehicle according to an exemplary aspect of the present disclosure includes, among other things, a controller and a rear wiper configured to wipe a rear window of the motor vehicle in response to instructions from the controller. Further, the controller is configured to instruct the rear wiper to run at a predefined speed for a predefined time period based on a plurality of factors. A method is also disclosed.
Device for wiping a window of a motor vehicle
The invention relates to a device (2) for wiping a window of a motor vehicle, comprising a wiper blade (4) rotated by a drive shaft (6) which is arranged at the output of a motor assembly (8) capable of creating an alternating rotational movement of said drive shaft. The wiping device also comprises means for translating the motor assembly, and some of said drive means are supported by the drive shaft. In this way, it is the rotation of the drive shaft that translates the motor assembly. The invention also relates to a motor vehicle comprising such a wiping device and to a structural element, in particular a boot door, to which the device is attached.
WIPER APPARATUS AND VEHICLE BODY REAR STRUCTURE
A wiper apparatus 4 is configured to wipe a rear windshield of a vehicle body rear portion. Above the vehicle body rear portion, the wiper apparatus is arranged on a rear side and a lower side of an ornamental member arranged to form a space to flow air between the ornamental member and an upper surface portion of the vehicle body rear portion. The wiper apparatus is provided with a flow straightening portion standing on the wiper apparatus and including a surface portion that inclines to a vehicle body rear side from a base portion toward a top portion.
CLEANING SYSTEM FOR A CAMERA LENS
A camera lens includes a cover adapted to at least partially enclose at least one camera having at least one camera lens, drive means adapted to rotationally move the cover relative to the camera, and a housing adapted to hold the cover and the drive means, where the housing at least partially encloses the cover and includes at least one opening for allowing electromagnetic radiation to pass through the cover to the lens. A rear view display for a vehicle includes such a cleaning system, and a vehicle includes such a rear view display.
Door-equipped vehicle body structure
A door-equipped vehicle body structure (10) includes a door opening (35) provided to a vehicle (11), a door (40) for opening and closing the door opening (35), and a grip (45) provided to the door (40). The door (40) is provided with a general surface (62) and an upper surface (63). The general surface (62) is a surface extending along a door surface (61). The upper surface (63) is a surface extending from an upper end (62a) of the general surface (62) toward an outside (22) of the vehicle. The grip (45) is provided so as to project upward from the upper surface (63).
COMPONENT-INTEGRATED TAILGATE HANDLE SWITCH FOR VEHICLE
A vehicle is provided that includes a wiper-integrated tailgate handle switch mounted to a window glass of a tailgate. The wiper-integrated tailgate handle switch includes a tailgate handle switch, which is configured to press a current carrying switch arranged in the internal space thereof using the height of an insertion space defined by a difference in height between transverse and longitudinal bodies of a handle switch housing, and a wiper. Therefore, a degree of freedom in design of the tailgate is increased which improves the aesthetic of the tailgate by removing the tailgate handle switch from the tailgate.
VEHICLE SENSOR CLEANING
A system includes a first computer including a processor and a memory. The memory stores instructions executable by the processor to receive a message from a second computer indicating one of a cleaning command specifying a sensor and a precipitation condition. If the message does not indicate a precipitation condition, the instructions include instructions to actuate a reservoir pump to clean the sensor specified in the cleaning command. If the message does indicate the precipitation condition, the instructions further include instructions to actuate a windshield wiper.
