A lamp system for a vehicle includes a sensor unit including at least one of a camera sensor or a distance detection sensor, the system including: a light source unit including at least one lens and at least one light source; a piezoelectric element positioned on a surface of the lens and generating a vibration based on an electrical acoustic signal; and a control unit controlling the piezoelectric element, wherein the control unit controls the piezoelectric element by varying the electrical acoustic signal based on sensing information received from the sensor unit.

VEHICLE WINDSHIELD CLEANING SYSTEM

Apparatus for providing heated cleaning fluid to a vehicle surface includes an inlet port for receiving an amount of fluid, a housing bounding a reservoir in fluid communication with the inlet port, and an outlet port in fluid communication with the reservoir for dispensing an amount of heated fluid. A heater element heats fluid passing from the inlet port to the outlet port through the reservoir. A heat exchanger in thermal contact with the heater element for conveying heat to fluid within the reservoir has a strut that divides fluid entering the housing through the inlet port into two flow paths and elongated fins extending outwardly from the strut at transverse angles that bound fluid flow channels for fluid moving through the reservoir. A control circuit energizes the heater element to heat the heating element and the fluid passing from the inlet port to the outlet port through the reservoir.

MULTI-FUNCTIONAL NOZZLE ASSEMBLY

A nozzle assembly for cleaning a vehicle surface is provided. The nozzle assembly includes a nozzle head including a manifold comprising an internal cleaning media passage having a plurality of cleaning media passageways, a cleaning media inlet, and a plurality of nozzles carried by the nozzle head, each of the plurality of nozzles fed by one of the plurality of cleaning media passageways and having at least one outlet through which cleaning media is sprayed. At least one of the nozzles; provides a different flow rate, flow type, pressure, direction, or spray pattern of cleaning media, collectively creating a multi-functional spray of cleaning media.

DEVICE FOR COVERING HEAD LAMP WASHER OF VEHICLE

A device for covering a head lamp washer of a vehicle is mounted on a bumper cover so as to be opened and closed, and thus covers the head lamp washer. The device, which includes a protruding open-type washer cover connected to a head unit of a telescope, may move forward so as to be opened when the head lamp washer moves forward, absorb assembly tolerance, and accurately match an opening of the bumper cover.

Sensor cover with drain

Techniques for protecting a sensor from an obstruction such as liquid are discussed herein. For instance, a sensor cover assembly can include a cover to protect a sensor from precipitation, contaminants, or other obstructions. The cover of the sensor cover assembly can be configured to direct an obstruction (e.g., a liquid) away from a lens of the sensor (e.g., a ring lens of a lidar sensor) to reduce obstructions to a field of view of the sensor. The cover can include one or more channels (e.g., a trough, a downspout, a gutter, etc.) or shapes (e.g., a curved surface, a sloped surface, a convex surface, etc.) to divert the obstruction away from the lens of the sensor.

Vehicle sensor device

A vehicle sensor device (1) includes an outer cover (12), a sensor unit (20) that transmits and receives an electromagnetic wave through the outer cover (12) and outputs a signal related to the electromagnetic wave incident on an inner side of the outer cover (12), a heater (30) that is provided in the outer cover (12) and heats a transmission region (AR) of the outer cover (12) through which the electromagnetic wave emitted from the sensor unit (20) passes, and a control unit (CO). The control unit (CO) outputs a detection signal of an object located outside the outer cover (12) based on the signal from the sensor unit (20) in at least a part of a period in which the heater (30) is OFF, and stops outputting of the detection signal in at least a part of a period in which the heater (30) is ON.

Provided are methods, systems, and apparatuses related to cleaning a sensor on an agricultural machine. In one implementation, a computer-implemented method is provided. The method may include analyzing one or more characteristics of a flow of material through an agricultural machine. The method may further include activating a cleaning actuator to initiate cleaning of a sensor when the flow characteristics meet at least one predetermined criteria or combination thereof. In another implementation, an apparatus is provided. The apparatus may include at least one sensor, at least one cleaning actuator, one or more processors, and a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium coupled to the one or more processors. The storage medium may include cleaning control module instructions consistent with the above-described computer-implemented method.

Motor vehicle headlamp

Motor vehicle headlight (1), comprising a lens ( ) a screen (3), a windscreen wiper (4) with a wiper blade (4a), which is arranged between the screen (3) and the lens (4a), a drive device (5), which is designed to move the wiper blade (4a) back and forth between a starting position and an end position, wherein an area (2b) of the lens (2) to be cleaned can be cleaned by moving the wiper blade (4a) from the starting position to the end position or from the end position to the starting position and by the contact of the wiper blade (4a) with the outside of the lens (2), wherein the wiper blade (4a) is located completely below an upper edge (3a) of the screen (3) in the starting position, and extends partially or completely over the upper edge (3a) of the screen (3) in the end position.

VEHICLE VENT PATCH CLEANING SYSTEMS

Vent patch cleaning systems are provided for motor vehicles. The vent patch cleaning systems may be configured for cleaning a vent patch of a vehicle component, thereby restoring air circulation through the vehicle component and reducing condensation build-up. An exemplary vent patch cleaning system may direct a fluid (e.g., washer fluid, airflow, or both) onto the vent patch for removing dirt and debris that could otherwise inhibit proper air circulation through the vehicle component.
