A steering wheel comprising a steering wheel rim (1) provided with an extended extremity (11), an operating part (2) provided on the radial inner side of the steering wheel rim (1), and an actuating rod (4) fixedly connected to the extended extremity (11). A central shaft (3) is extended from the bottom end of the operating part (2). The central shaft (3) runs through the extended extremity (11) and is inserted into a cavity provided by the actuating rod (4). A bearing component (5) is provided between the inner wall of the extended extremity (11) and the outer wall of the central shaft (3). By fitting the central shaft (3) with the bearing component (5), and by fitting the bearing component (5) with the extended extremity (11), separation of the operating part (2) and the steering wheel rim (1) is implemented, and the steering wheel rim (1) is allowed to be rotated around the central shaft (3). The steering wheel has the operating part (2) and the steering wheel rim (1) arranged separately, when the steering wheel rim (1) is rotated, the operating part (2) does not rotate with the rotation of the steering wheel rim (1), thus ensuring that a driver can easily observe and control the operating part so as to improve the stability and safety of driving.

STEERING DEVICE FOR MOTOR VEHICLE, STEER-BY-WIRE STEERING SYSTEM AND MOTOR VEHICLE

A steering device for a motor vehicle, in particular for use in a steer-by-wire steering system, comprises a steering handle rotatable about an axis of the steering device, and a restoring torque generating arrangement coupled to the steering handle and configured to generate a torque that at least partially counteracts rotation of the steering handle. The restoring torque generating arrangement comprises a motor having a hollow core coaxial to the axis of the steering device, and a gear coupled to the motor and configured to transmit a torque produced by the motor to the steering handle. The gear has a hollow central region coaxial to the axis of the steering device and a gear ratio within the range from 20:1 to 100:1.

Retractable steering wheel arrangement with non-planar steering wheel rim

The present disclosure relates to a steering system for a vehicle, comprising a steering wheel arrangement having a central axis and being reversibly retractable in a direction towards a dashboard of the vehicle and extendable in a direction away from the dashboard of the vehicle. The steering wheel arrangement includes a steering wheel having a steering wheel rim and at least one spoke, a steering wheel hub fixedly connected with the steering wheel by the at least one spoke and extending from the steering wheel towards the dashboard of the vehicle, the steering wheel hub and the steering wheel being rotatable about a central axis (A). The steering wheel rim has a non-planar configuration and has a total angle of rotation of 720 or less.
