Mud flap assembly
Mud flap assemblies including a frame, a securing assembly and mud flap panels; the securing assembly enabling the frame to be secured to a hitch assembly having a shaft, for further attachment to a hitch receiver secured to a vehicle; the frame having a rear plate that preferably includes a hitch opening for receiving the shaft of the hitch assembly. The frame is preferably configured to engage or rest upon a portion of a bumper of the vehicle to minimize vibration of the frame during use. The mud flap assembly preferably includes a pair of stops that are preferably adjustable and are constructed and arranged to engage or rest against the bumper. The mud flap assembly preferably includes enlarged mud flap panels and mud flap support members for additional support of the enlarged mud flap panels. Methods of installing mud flap assemblies are also disclosed.
Vehicle mudguard lighting device
A vehicle mudguard lighting device includes: a mudguard fixing unit attached to the vehicle wheel guard and having a motor therein; a mudguard rotating unit rotatably attached to the mudguard fixing unit and including a lighting device for irradiating light; an external connector for supplying power to the motor and the lighting device; and a controller, where the controller is configured to determine whether power is supplied to the motor and the lighting device, to control whether power is supplied to the external connector, and to adjust a rotation angle of the mudguard rotating unit through the motor.
Depression operated tilting pump apparatus and cab tilting system employing the pump apparatus
A tilting pump apparatus includes a pump operation unit arranged between a mudguard, which is configured to obstruct foreign objects entering from a front side, and a tilting pump, which is configured to be rotated for generating hydraulic pressure to transmit movement of the mudguard generated by depressing the mudguard as rotational force for rotating the tilting pump.
VEHICLE PROTECTION SYSTEM TO SECURE A PROTECTIVE COVERING TO AN AXLE OF A VEHICLE
A system for protecting the body and frame of a vehicle from flying debris, particularly during a tire blowout includes a mounting apparatus configured to secure a protective shield, which may be a protective plate and/or fender, to an axle of a vehicle. In embodiments, the protective plate may be mounted to the axel via a mounting apparatus, and the fender may further be mounted to the mounting apparatus and/or protective plate. In some embodiments, the protective plate may be mounted directly to the axel, and the fender may further be mounted to the protective plate, whereby the plate may serve as the mounting apparatus.
WORK VEHICLE AND METHOD FOR ATTACHING/DETACHING MUD GUARD
A work vehicle includes a vehicle body, and a mud guard device attached to the vehicle body. The mud guard device has a cylindrical support pipe fixed to the vehicle body, a support shaft supported by being inserted into the support pipe, and a mud guard supported by the support shaft. Alternatively, the mud guard device has a support shaft fixed to the vehicle body, a cylindrical support pipe supported by the support shaft being inserted in the cylindrical support pipe, and a mud guard supported by the support pipe.
Function Arrangement for Installation around Vehicle Wheel Fender
A vehicle function arrangement for a vehicle includes a fender frame and a utility unit. The fender frame is adapted for attaching to a vehicle wheel position of the vehicle, wherein the fender frame has a sideward extension surface arranged for outwardly extending from the vehicle wheel frame. The utility unit is provided at the sideward extension surface of the fender frame for creating an additional utility space for the vehicle. In one embodiment, the vehicle function arrangement is installed to the vehicle wheel frame by fastening the fender frame of the vehicle function arrangement to the vehicle wheel frame.
TRACTOR, COMMERCIAL VEHICLE, RANGE OF TRACTORS AND METHOD FOR CONFIGURING A TRACTOR
A tractor of a commercial vehicle comprising lateral fairings each having a fixed portion attached to a chassis, a movable portion, and a mounting arrangement to vary a fairing height of the movable portion in accordance with a fifth-wheel height of a fifth-wheel coupling, wherein the mounting arrangement is chosen between a discontinuous mounting arrangement comprising a first mounting member and a series of second mounting members, the series of second mounting members comprising separate second members aligned at different mounting heights, and a continuous mounting arrangement comprising a pinion and a rack configured to cooperate with each other to move the movable portion with respect to the fixed portion within a range of mounting heights when the pinion is driven in rotation.
Locking mechanism for a rotating mudguard assembly
A rotating mudguard assembly having fixed and rotating parts includes a locking mechanism to limit the relative movement between the fixed and rotating parts of the assembly. The locking mechanism has a locking pin which can selectively engage with a locking plate, the pin and the plate on respective parts of the rotating mudguard assembly. The locking mechanism may be an integral part of the assembly, or the locking mechanism may be a kit of parts for installation on or retrofitting to an assembly.
Spring-biased mud flap hanger with improved pivoting motion guidance
Systems and methods for controlling movement of a mudflap hanger arm, to reliably return from a deflected position to a resting position, while providing improved manufacturability and reduced corrosion and wear through the use of guidance surfaces on a mounting plate and a frame seat that form the interface between the hanger arm and a vehicle frame. When the hanger arm pivots about an axis on one side of the mounting plate and frame seat, guidance surfaces on the opposite side are in contact or near-contact, preventing the mounting plate and frame seat from being laterally displaced or rotated with respect to each other. The improved mounting plate and frame seat can reduce or eliminate manufacturing operations such as welding, coating, etc., reducing the cost of the apparatus, while enhancing manufacturability and operation.
