SYSTEM AND METHOD OF TRANSPORTING
A system and method for transporting a plurality of automobiles on a stinger semi-trailer with a class 8 standard semi-trailer truck with a fifth wheel above the wheels.
Riser apparatus and system for vehicle transport
Riser apparatuses and systems for vehicle transportation are disclosed. Embodiments include a riser with a top surface configured to receive a vehicle. The riser has a front end and a back end opposite the front end. The apparatus is configured such that rotating a lift mechanism causes a front end of the riser to move both in a first horizontal direction and in a first vertical direction to a first raised position such that the front end of the riser is supported by at least one rotatable leg. Rotating the lift mechanism also causes a back end of the riser to move in the first horizontal direction, and causes a latch to engage a carrier rod to secure the riser in the first raised position.
Heavy equipment trailer with adjustable deck
Heavy equipment trailer comprising an elongated deck, a front gooseneck extending from the front of the deck for connection to a pulling vehicle, a rear gooseneck extending from the rear of the deck, a jeep with ground engaging wheels positioned to the rear of the deck, and an elevator operatively connected between the rear gooseneck and the jeep for raising and lowering the rear gooseneck to adjust the height of the deck above the ground. The trailer also has a front jeep and a rear booster with dual axles and multiple wheels, with the loads at the front and rear of the deck being distributed respectively between the front jeep and the pulling vehicle and between the rear jeep and the booster. A front jeep includes a lift for raising and lowering the front gooseneck and the front end of the deck.
Towing systems
A portable towing system for a motorcycle or similar vehicle, such as a trike, the frame of which can be lowered to ground level to facilitate loading of the motorcycle or similar vehicle by pushing or riding the vehicle onto the frame without risk of the vehicle falling off the sides of a steeply inclined ramp. The towing system may be assembled, raised, lowered, and disassembled by a single person, if desired. The raising and lowering of the frame is effected by a lifting and lowering mechanism connected with the wheel assemblies.
System and Method for Monitoring and Tracking Use of Trailer Lift Devices
A system for monitoring the use of one or more lift devices used for raising or lowering the landing gear of a semi-trailer. A data management module within the system includes a suite of features which are used to take received lift device data and convert it into an easily understood graphical representation. Each lift device is configured to transmit data related to its operation to the data management module of the system which then displays the lift device data as a graphical representation and/or data set according to the type of user using the system. The lift device data which is displayed to the user can include an amount of torque applied to the lift device, the number of times the lift device has been activated, or any other data point which gives the user an overall snapshot of the performance of the lift device(s) under their control.
The towing system also comprises a cargo box to store the frame when disassembled. The raising and lowering of the frame is effected by a lifting and lowering mechanism connected with the wheel assemblies, and at least three heights of the frame are achieved by rotation of the lifting and lowering mechanism of the wheel assemblies. The cargo box and the frame can use the wheel assemblies interchangeably.
TRANSPORT TRAILER WITH A CHASSIS AND AT LEAST ONE FLOOR PLATFORM
A transport trailer having a chassis and at least one floor platform mounting to the chassis and configured to transport a load. The at least one floor platform comprises at least one main plate and a metal sheet mounting to the main plate. The at least one main plate is fabricated from a porous metal material.
Trailer with tilt system
A trailer including an axle assembly which travels horizontally beneath the trailer, transforming the trailer from a transport position to a loading position. The axle assembly is connected to a tail rod which connects with a tail ramp located at the rear of the trailer. As the axle assembly travels forward, the tail rod is removed from the tail ramp, causing the ramp to tilt down towards the ground away from the trailer bed, allowing a vehicle to be driven up over the ramp and onto the bed of the trailer. A hitch assembly allows the hitch to move in relation to the trailer, preventing damage to a towing vehicle.
TOWING SYSTEMS
A portable towing system for motorcycles or similar vehicles, such as trikes, features a frame that can be lowered to ground level for easy loading by pushing or riding the vehicle onto the frame. The system can be assembled, raised, lowered, and disassembled by a single person. Raising and lowering are achieved through a mechanism connected to the wheel assemblies. The system includes a towable cargo container with a walled container, a top that opens and closes, and left and right side openings in the rear sidewall. Left and right wheel assemblies with elongated tubes are insertable into these openings, oriented orthogonally to the wheel axes. A receiver for a vehicle tow bar allows the cargo container to be towed when connected to a vehicle.
