DIVING MASK COMPRISING A LI-FI COMMUNICATION MODULE
The invention relates to a diving mask (10) comprising a telecommunication system (190) configured to allow the establishment of one-way or two-way light communication, specifically according to a communication protocol of the Li-fi type. For this purpose, the telecommunication system (190) comprises a light communication module (150) comprising at least one light source (151) and an electronic control board (156) for controlling said at least one light source (151) so as to emit a light signal of which the amplitude is modulated as a function of an electronic signal encoded by said electronic control board (156). The invention also relates to an underwater light communication method (200).
MASK FOR UNDERWATER USE, IN PARTICULAR OF GRANFACIAL TYPE WITH ASSISTED BREATHING
A diving mask includes a transparent visor, a frame or strap, a gasket to guarantee the watertight seal and appropriate belts for fitting the mask, a breathing tube associated with the facial part is fitted onto the upper part of the mask and which enables the flow of air to enter into the compartment between the frame and the visor. The path of air in the inhalation phase and in the exhalation phase both in the mask and tube are different from each other. The tube is made with separate ducts for inhalation and exhalation and the inside of the mask is made with two compartments, one upper front and one lower oronasal separated by a wall. The path provides that inhalation air is introduced by the tube into the frontal compartment and then into the oronasal one and air exhaled from the oronasal compartment travels up to the tube.
Snorkel mask
A snorkel mask is disclosed comprising a faceplate having a lateral partition on an interior surface delineating an upper and lower section, the lower section comprising a region that extends away from the upper section and includes a cutout section fitted with a complementary-shaped flexible insert that enables a user to grasp the nose. The snorkel mask further includes a rigid frame bonded to the faceplate and sandwiched between the faceplate and a flexible annular sidewall skirt that is hollow and filled with a gas or other cushioning substance. The flexible skirt includes a lateral nose piece section attached to the partition. The lateral nose piece section having an inlet aperture and check valve for inhaled air, and an orifice through which an exhalation conduit extends from the lower chamber to a snorkel device forming a passageway for exhaled air to pass through the upper chamber to the snorkel device.
Diving mask system
A diving mask system is disclosed comprising a faceplate having a lateral partition on an interior surface delineating an upper and lower section, the lower section comprising a region that extends away from the upper section and includes at least one cutout section fitted with a complementary-shaped flexible insert that enables a user to grasp the nose. The faceplate further includes a flexible tubular insert defining a passageway extending through the faceplate to a lower chamber. The tubular insert has a distal end dimensioned to fit and seal onto the mouthpiece receiver tube of a conventional second stage scuba regulator permitting the mask to be scuba enabled. A quick-release clasp mechanism attached to the mask's elastic retention straps is also disclosed.
Diving mask having a built-in snorkel
A diving mask includes a faceplate secured to a frame, a flexible skirt having a partition delimiting an upper viewing chamber from a lower breathing chamber, a snorkel having an inlet channel for inhaled air and at least one escape channel for exhaled air, the snorkel being a continuation of the upper part of the frame, the inlet channel for inhaled air leading into the upper chamber, whilst the first escape channel for exhaled air communicates with the lower chamber. The frame is rigid and inside the frame there is arranged at least one first inner duct for exhaled air having an upper end leading into the escape channel for exhaled air, and a lower end in fluid communication with the lower chamber.
VENTILATOR MASK SYSTEM
A ventilator mask system is disclosed comprising a faceplate having a lateral partition on an interior surface delineating an upper and lower section, the lower section comprising a region that extends away from the upper section and includes at least one cutout opening fitted with a complementary-shaped flexible insert that enables a user to grasp the nose. The faceplate further includes a snorkel coupling having a passageway contained therein and conduits connecting the passageways with a lower chamber. The faceplate further includes a tubular ventilating sleeve which provides separate passageways for supplying fresh air and exhausting exhaled air through the faceplate. The tubular ventilating sleeve has a tubular body and an inhalation conduit defining a passageway that connects a snorkel coupling and to an inhalation tube of a ventilating device. The tubular inhalation conduit fluidly connects a snorkel coupling passageway of said scuba-enabled mask to said inhalation tube of said ventilating device.
Diving Masks
The disclosure relates to a diving mask, including: a mask having a breath cavity corresponding to a mouth and a nose of a user; a vent tube connected to the mask and provided with an inlet passage, the inlet passage communicating the breath cavity with external air; and an exhaust device communicating the breath cavity, the exhaust device including an exhaust fan configured to discharge air in the breath cavity into an external environment, thereby enabling the external air to flow into the breath cavity through the inlet passage.
SNORKEL AND DIVING MASK SYSTEM
A diving mask system is disclosed comprising a faceplate having a lateral partition on an interior surface delineating an upper and lower section, the lower section comprising a region that extends away from the upper section and includes at least one cutout opening fitted with a complementary-shaped flexible insert that enables a user to grasp the nose. The faceplate further includes a snorkel coupling having a passageway contained therein and conduits connecting the passageways with a lower chamber. The faceplate further includes a flexible tubular insert defining a passageway extending through the faceplate to the lower chamber. The tubular insert has a distal end dimensioned to fit and seal onto the mouthpiece receiver tube of a conventional second stage scuba regulator. The mask may be interchangeably configured for both scuba and snorkeling environments.
Immersion survival suit
A survival helmet device for use in combination with a survival suit includes a helmet, inhale and exhale control valves, and at least one inflatable air cavity pocket secured to the survival suit for selectively controlling the air supply and buoyancy of the survival helmet device and the survival suit.
