BINDING MACHINE FOR GARDENING
A binding machine for gardening includes a main handle to draw out a tape, a clincher arm rotatably attached to the main handle, and a tape gripping device attached to the clincher arm. When the clincher arm rotates in a closing direction to a predetermined position with respect to the main handle, a gripping operation is performed in which the tape gripping device grips the tape. When the clincher arm further rotates in the closing direction from the predetermined position with respect to the main handle to be in a closed state, a binding operation is performed to bind objects. The gripping operation and the binding operation are performed alternately. The movement restricting unit is provided to restrict the rotation of the clincher arm in the closing direction from the predetermined position at the time of the gripping operation.
Tool for tightening strapping
A clamping device is mounted to the pusher tensioner to clamp a portion of strapping to be applied to a load during tensioning of an opposite end of the strapping. In one example, the clamping device includes a clamping plate mounted to define a clamping space between the clamping plate and a portion of the pusher tensioner. A metal seal having a pusher sealer configuration with serrations on inner surfaces of the metal seal can be used with the tool to secure plastic strapping.
TOOL FOR SECURING A CLAMP
A tool for securing a clamp having a band and a clip is provided. The tool includes a base member and a first handle coupled to the base member. A cinching handle is rotationally coupled to the base member adjacent the first handle. A crimping handle is rotationally coupled to the base member adjacent the first handle opposite the cinching handle. A holding means is provided for holding the clip. A tensioning means is provided for moving a tab end portion of the band through the clip, the tensioning means being operably coupled to the cinching handle. A crimping means is provided for locking the clip to the band, the crimping means being operably coupled to the crimping handle. A severing means is provided for severing the tab end portion from the band, the severing means being operably coupled to the crimping handle.
Electrically powered combination hand-held notch-type strapping tool
A strapping tool for tensioning overlapping sections of steel strap around a load and forming a notch-type seal in a seal element positioned over the overlapping sections of steel strap includes a body having a foot, a tensioning section and a sealing section. The tensioning section has a tensioner motor assembly operably mounted to the body. The tensioner motor assembly has an electrically powered tensioner motor. A tensioning wheel is operably connected to the tensioner motor. The sealing section has a notcher assembly that includes an electrically powered notcher motor operably mounted to the body. The notcher assembly includes a linkage and at least one pair of jaw elements. The linkage is configured to pivot ends of the jaw elements toward one another in a sealing cycle to form the notch-type seal in the seal element. A control system controls operation of the tensioner motor and the notcher motor. The control system is configured to operate the strapping tool in an automatic mode in which the tensioner motor and the notcher motor are sequentially actuated by action of the control system by an operator.
Band tightening assembly
A band tightening assembly includes a guide that is positionable against HVAC ducting. The guide slidably engages a band extending around the HVAC ducting. The guide has a first arm extending along a longitudinal axis that is oriented perpendicular to a second arm such that the first and second arms form a plus. A collar is coupled to the guide and the collar is positioned on the first arm. The collar is oriented to extend along an axis that is offset 4.0 degrees from the longitudinal axis of the first arm. A shaft is rotatably positioned in the collar and the shaft has a rotational axis that is aligned with the axis of the collar. The shaft has a slot therein for insertably receiving the band. The shaft has an engaging well for receiving a socket drive on a power tool. Thus, the shaft is rotated about the rotational axis when the power tool is turned on to tighten the band around the HVAC ducting.
BINDING MACHINE FOR GARDENING
The operation handle includes a link portion engaged with the main handle on one side as viewed from the rotation fulcrum and a lever operation portion on the other side as viewed from the rotation fulcrum. The clincher arm is configured to rotate in a closing direction with respect to the main handle when the lever operation portion and the main handle are gripped. The binding machine for gardening further comprises a cover member configured to cover the link portion.
Strapping tool
A strapping tool is disclosed herein. In one or more embodiments, the strapping tool includes a motive power source and a sealing assembly. The sealing assembly includes a first punch and a die, the first punch and die configured to crimp or cut a notch in a strapping seal member and a piece of strapping so as to secure the piece of strapping around a package or bundle of items.
Crimper for Metal Seals with Orientation Indicator
A metal seal crimper includes a pair of opposing jaw units mounted to move in response to movement of a pair of the crimper's handles to close a metal seal. A first jaw unit of the opposing jaw units is located on a first side of the crimper and configured to close a short flange of the metal seal. A second jaw unit is located on a second side of the crimper and configured to close a long flange of the metal seal. A first handle of the pair of handles is located on the first side of the metal seal crimper, and a second handle is located on the second side of the metal seal crimper. An indicator located on at least one of the first and second handles is configured to distinguish the handles to facilitate proper alignment of the metal seal within the crimper.
Manual bundling tool
A manual binding tool in which, without transferring the fingers, tightening and cutting can be performed simply by gripping a pair of levers. The manual binding tool includes a tightening mechanism that pulls a projection tie portion that is passed through a head portion, a cutting mechanism that cuts the projection tie portion in the vicinity of the head portion, first and second levers, a tightening linkage mechanism that links the levers with the tightening mechanism in a state where the projection tie portion is pulled by gripping of the levers in a range within a predetermined angle, and a cutting linkage mechanism that links the levers with the cutting mechanism in a state where the projection tie portion is cut by gripping the levers beyond the predetermined angle. A switching mechanism alternatively allows one of the tightening or cutting linkage mechanism to operate based upon tightening force.
