LABEL FITTING SYSTEM
Provided is a label fitting system which can, even if a container has a narrowed portion, appropriately fit a cylindrical label to the outer periphery of the container. A label fitting system is provided with a label arrangement mechanism which pushes down a cylindrical label having been supplied to a location above a cylindrical container and is disposed about the outer periphery of the cylindrical label. The label arrangement mechanism is provided with a vertically movable annular base and a plurality of legs extending downward from the base. The legs have elasticity which enables the legs to be displaced radially, and have lower ends coming into contact with the upper end of the cylindrical label. When the base descends, the lower ends of the legs push down the cylindrical label while descending along the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical container.
Device for applying self-adhesive labels on moving containers
Described is a device (1) for applying self-adhesive labels (101) on moving containers (2), comprising means (28) for feeding a web (103) along a movement path, the labels (101) being arranged on the web (103) to bring one label (101) at a time to a detaching unit (12). The detaching unit (12) is operatively associated with the labels (101) for detaching them from the web (103) in such a way as to apply them to a container (2). The device (1) also comprises a unit for controlling the feed means (28) designed for moving the web (103) along an outward direction (19) to bring a respective label (101) to the detaching unit (12). In addition, after a label (101) has been detached, the control unit is designed to move the web (103) in a return direction (20), opposite to the outward direction, by a predetermined distance in such a way as to increase the movement space between the detaching unit (12) and the next label (101).
Sticking body holding member
Provided is a sticking body holding member capable of suppressing generation of slack in a carrier tape without excessively strong winding of the carrier tape. A sticking body holding member includes a plurality of sticking bodies, a carrier tape, and a reel. The sticking bodies are each configured to have a planar shape, and each include a first surface being an adhesive surface that is stickable with respect to an adherend. In the carrier tape, the plurality of sticking bodies are stuck and arranged in a line. The carrier tape is wound around the reel. A second surface of the sticking body is provided with an adhesive region having adhesiveness and an adhesion suppressing region where adhesiveness is suppressed, and the second surface of the sticking body is configured to have weaker adhesiveness than adhesiveness of the first surface.
LABEL APPLICATION SYSTEMS
Systems and methods for applying decorations from a web onto a substrates are disclosed. According to some aspects, a decoration may be transferred from the web directly to a substrate based on contact of the substrate with an adhesive of a portion of the decoration while the portion of the decoration is attached to the web.
TRANSLUCENT HEAT SEAL MATERIAL FOR LOW TEMPERATURE APPLICATIONS
A label material attachable to a product, and a method of applying the label material to the product is described herein. Printed indicia, such as brand identifiers or other labeling information, are applied to the substantially transparent label material using a thermal or other suitable printer. The label material is then bonded to the product using a low heat and pressure technique to activate the adhesive. Once applied to the product, a portion of the label material bonded to the product substantially blends into the product leaving only the printed indicia readily visible to a consumer.
SINGLE-PLY LINER LABEL COMBINATION AND ROLL
A single-ply liner label combination and liner-label combination roll are provided. Each liner label combination including a liner substrate and a label substrate. The label substrate including at least one inner and partially perforated second label. The backside of the label substrate including adhesive but a first portion of an area of the backside that corresponds to the inner and partially perforated second label including an adhesive deadener applied over the adhesive within the first portion. A second portion of the area retains the adhesive in a pattern along a periphery of the backside that corresponds to the inner and partially perforated second label.
Systems and methods for decorating substrates
Systems and methods for forming and applying decorations onto substrates are disclosed. According to some aspects, a decoration may be formed on a carrier web at a decoration forming station positioned along a web path. The decorations may be transported along the web path to an application station at which the decorations are applied to substrates from the carrier web.
LABELING STATION IN LABELING MACHINES FOR PRE-ADHESIVE LABELS
A labeling station in labeling machines for pre-adhesive labels, including a feeding assembly with unwinding rollers of a respective spool of backing tape with adhesive labels applied thereto and at least one assembly for applying the labels which has a peeling device located proximate to the containers to be labeled and adapted to separate the individual labels from the backing tape for application, and at least two mutually composable parts, respectively a first part, which includes a first support which forms a first worktable, on which the application assembly is mounted, and a second part, which includes a second support, on which at least the feeding assembly is mounted. The feeding assembly further includes a splicing system for joining the backing tapes which are unwound from the unwinding rollers and a group of dandy rolls, while at least one first redirection roller is mounted on the first worktable.
Method of applying labels using a portable labeling device
A portable labeling device is provided for applying labels to a film used in sealing a product package. The labeling device includes a platform mounted for adjustable positioning in relation to the film and a belt that is moveable around rollers associated with the platform. The belt is operable to receive a portion of each of the labels and transport them into registry with the film. A tamp roller is also provided and is moveable into a position pressing another portion of each of the labels against the film. The tamp roller is then movable to another position spaced away from the film when the belt moves around the rollers to transport other ones of the labels into registry with the film.
LABEL DISPENSE ARRANGEMENT AND METHOD AND ASSOCIATED LABELING SYSTEM FOR ADHESIVE LABELS
A label applying system includes a feed path along which a label supply, having multiple labels attached to a label liner, is moved; a label applier having a forward label holding surface; and a label peel mechanism positioned along the label feed path. The label applying system further includes one or more of a fixed position label transition ramp, a label transition ramp with a portion forward of the label holding surface for label kickout and/or an air mover with focused ducting.
