Programmable network node roles in hierarchical communications network
The disclosure features a method of creating a communications network. In this method, a first tape node includes a first type of wireless communication interface and a second type of wireless communication interface having a longer range than the first type of wireless communication interface. A second tape node includes the first type of wireless communication interface that is operable to communicate with the first tape node over a wireless communication connection established between the first type of wireless communication interfaces of the first and second tape nodes. Over a wireless communication connection, the first tape node sends programmatic code executable by the first tape node to function as a master tape node with respect to the second tape node.
IN-LINE LABEL APPLICATOR
An in-line label applicator includes a label printer to print variable data on each label and a label application station that moves the printed labels into a container conveyance path for application to containers moving along the path. One scanner scans the label code of each printed label before the label reaches the conveyance path, and another scanner scans the helper code of each container as the label is being applied during movement of the container along the conveyance path.
A DEVICE FOR APPLYING SELF-ADHESIVE LABELS ON MOVING CONTAINERS
Described is a device (1) for applying self-adhesive labels (101) on moving containers (2), comprising means (28) for feeding a web (103) along a movement path, the labels (101) being arranged on the web (103) to bring one label (101) at a time to a detaching unit (12). The detaching unit (12) is operatively associated with the labels (101) for detaching them from the web (103) in such a way as to apply them to a container (2). The device (1) also comprises a unit for controlling the feed means (28) designed for moving the web (103) along an outward direction (19) to bring a respective label (101) to the detaching unit (12). In addition, after a label (101) has been detached, the control unit is designed to move the web (103) in a return direction (20), opposite to the outward direction, by a predetermined distance in such a way as to increase the movement space between the detaching unit (12) and the next label (101).
Method and device for application of a label to an object
A method and a device for application of a label to an object, comprising: moving the object from a storing position to a labeling position; back-feeding and printing a label arranged at a continuous liner; moving the liner across a peeling edge, whereby the label is peeled off from the liner; transferring the label from the liner to the object; and removing the object from the labeling position to a removal position.
Line converger with label dispenser
The present invention relates to a line converger comprising a label dispenser and to a method for converging a row of at least three packages into a single lane and for applying a label to each package before the packages leave the line converger.
LABEL PRINTER
A top cover moves between a first position where the top cover is opened with respect to a lower cover and a second position where the top cover is closed with respect to the lower cover. A label peel-off unit moves between a third position where the label peel-off unit is opened with respect to the lower cover and a fourth position where the label peel-off unit is closed with respect to the lower cover. A lock portion engages with an operable engagement claw provided on the top cover and an engagement claw housed in the lower cover to prevent the top cover from moving from the second position. A protruding portion protrudes upstream in a label conveying direction, abuts against the engagement claw, and causes the label peel-off unit to move from the fourth position to the third position by the engagement claw.
PACKAGING AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING A PACKAGING
The disclosure relates to a packaging that is made from a packaging base for receiving a product and a lid part glued to opposite side walls of the packaging base, wherein the lid part comprises a self-adhesive label peeled off a carrier tape and having an underside provided with an adhesive exclusively in regions that are glued to the opposite side walls of the packaging base part. Furthermore, the disclosure relates to a method for producing a packaging.
FILM TRANSFER TOOL
A film transfer tool has a casing, a tape-supplying assembly having a supply reel and a take-up reel linked therewith, a brake component which can move relative to the supply reel, and a transfer head. The transfer head moves between an original position and an operating position to drive the tape-supplying assembly and the brake component to move relative to the other. When the transfer head moves toward the operating position, a relative movement between the supply reel and the brake component is caused and the braking capacity gradually decreases.
PACKAGING AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING A PACKAGING
The disclosure relates to a packaging which comprises a packaging lower part, which is in the form of a packaging tray with a tray edge projecting circumferentially, and a lid part which is adhesively bonded to the tray edge. The lid part comprises a self-adhesive label which is removed from a carrier band and to the underside of which adhesive is applied exclusively circumferentially in the region of a label edge to be adhered to the tray edge. Furthermore, the disclosure relates to a method for producing a packaging.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR IMPROVED LABELLING OF CONTAINERS
An apparatus is provided for improving the labelling process of containers. The apparatus includes a container carrier arranged in a travel lane. The travel lane has a downstream direction in which the carrier is movable. The apparatus also includes a deformable panel comprising a fixed end and a free end. The deformable panel is positioned angled to and intersecting the travel lane. The free end is more proximal to the travel lane than the fixed end. The apparatus also includes a displacement sensor measuring the displacement at the deformable panel. A method is also provided for detecting an operational condition of the apparatus.
