MOLDED CONTAINER WITH OPENER AND METHOD FOR USE
A fluid container is provided that comprises a body portion configured to at least partially surround fluid. The container also includes a cap portion connected to and above the body portion at a frangible separation site surrounding an opening between the body portion and the cap portion. The cap portion is configured to separate from the body portion at the separation site to expose the opening when a substantially downwardly directed force is applied to a part of the cap portion at a certain radial distance from a longitudinal axis through the opening. The container can include a collar configured to be disposed at least around a part of the body portion. A portion of the collar can be configured to facilitate separation of the cap portion.

Bottle Cap
A stylized glass bottle cap that has at least one pull tab extending downward from an exterior edge of its skirt that may be used to release or replace the cap onto a bottle. It may be sealed onto bottles utilizing existing crimping technology. This configuration supports the removal or replacement of the cap without the use of a tool. Its physical configuration when placed onto a long neck glass bottle resembles that of a nineties mullet head and provides additional area for product branding.
CONTAINERS AND RECYCLABLE TAMPER-EVIDENT CLOSURE ASSEMBLIES
An assembly comprises a container with a neck and a tamper-evident closure coupled with the neck. The neck has a projection with a neck and a ramp. The closure comprises a skirt with two portions engaged with the groove and the ramp. The skirt may be rotated relative to the neck to enlarge its diameter and disengage the skirt from the neck.
LIQUID CONTAINER HAVING SINGLE CAP
A liquid container includes a container body including an inner space accommodating a liquid formed therein, a liquid port formed at a top thereof to allow the liquid to flow into/out of the inner space, and a holding protrusion which protrudes toward an inside and is formed on an inner circumferential surface thereof, a cap inserted into the liquid port and then coupled with the container body, and a stopper coupled with the cap, disposed to be spaced apart from a bottom surface of the cap, configured to protrude in an outward-radial direction and to be held by the holding protrusion to limit a movement distance of the cap when the cap moves upward, and formed of an elastic material to allow the cap to be separable from the container body by a certain external force applied to the cap.
Liquid filled bottle having a thin cover member provided with a flexible reinforcing element
The plastic bottle (1) is filled with liquid and provided with a rigid neck (4) that defines a narrow opening (5) with an inner diameter (D5) typically inferior to 40 mm. A flexible sheet-like cover member (C), having a lower closing element and an upper reinforcing element, is provided to seal the opening. A reinforcing portion (10) of the reinforcing element (C2) is directly fastened to a central portion (6) of the closing element in contact with the annular upper face (F) of the neck and reinforces this central portion. A first surface (S1) suitable for displaying label information is defined by the reinforcing portion. The outer rim (8) of the reinforcing element extends along or close to a rim (4d) of the face (F). An optional pull tab (9) forming part of the closing element (C1) and/or an extension portion forming part of the reinforcing element (C2) may be provided.
TAMPER-EVIDENT ENCLOSURE
An exemplary enclosure including a resin injection-molded canister defining a top end, a bottom end and an intermediate body disposed therebetween. The enclosure, furthermore, includes a resin injection-molded fitment defining a base, a tamper-evident panel, and a neck disposed therebetween. The top end includes a rim having an inwardly facing mating surface and the base includes a rim having an outwardly facing mating surface. The canister and fitment are configured to be fused along the inwardly and outwardly facing mating surfaces subsequent to being filled with the consumer product. The tamper-evident panel is molded into the fitment during the injection molding process while the mating plane of the fitment and canister is located below the base of the fitment to optimize the opening of the canister for being filled with the consumer product.
Container with twist-off closure
A container comprises a releasable metal closure formed with an end wall and a depending skirt and having an annular layer of sealing compound provided on the inside of the end wall adjacent the skirt and a container body comprising a neck with an annular sealing surface surrounding a circular opening and adapted to seal against the annular layer of sealing compound over an annular sealing interface in the closed position of the closure on the container body. The container body and the closure are formed with no mechanical means for coupling them together to form or maintain a seal therebetween and the seal is provided by a partial vacuum formed in the container during processing. The annular sealing surface of the container body is formed with a localized protrusion or recess which provides a discontinuity in the annular sealing interface, whereby relative rotation of the closure and container body from the closed position creates a venting path from the interior of the container body to the exterior so that the seal is broken and the closure is released.
Device and method for opening an ampoule
A device for opening an ampoule includes an ampoule holder configured to hold a body of the ampoule along a central longitudinal axis, a head holder configured to hold a head of the ampoule, and a guide engaged with the head holder and configured to direct the head holder from a first position on the central longitudinal axis to a second position offset from the central longitudinal axis when the ampoule holder is advanced in a first direction along the central longitudinal axis from an initial position. A method for opening an ampoule includes moving the ampoule in a first direction along a central longitudinal axis, directing the head of the ampoule laterally and/or obliquely away from the central longitudinal axis to break the head of the ampoule from the body of the ampoule when the ampoule is moved in the first direction, removing material from the body of the ampoule, and removing liquid from the head of the ampoule.
