The tamper evident feature may include a locking tab connected to a wall panel or cover panel of the container and a receiving slot provided on the opposing cover panel or wall panel of the container. The locking tab may include an outer terminal edge and a slit extending laterally across the locking tab. The slit may provide a cut edge extending partially across an intermediate portion of the locking tab and allow for a tab end portion to bend relative to the remainder of the locking tab. The receiving slot may include a receiving slit defined into the cover panel of the container and configured to receive the locking tab. The receiving slit may provide a receiving edge that engages with the cut edge of the locking tab to secure the cover panel in a closed position.
One- and two-pack beverage box
A box can include a body portion at least partially defining a cavity, the body portion defining a top body end and a bottom body end, the body portion including a plurality of panels, the top body end defining an opening to the cavity; a telescoping panel including an upper telescoping subpanel and a lower telescoping subpanel, the lower telescoping subpanel coupled to the body portion by a top hinge, the upper telescoping subpanel coupled to the lower telescoping subpanel by a telescoping hinge, the telescoping panel defining a locking tab disposed opposite from the top hinge, the lower telescoping subpanel extending into the cavity and positioned in facing engagement with a first panel of the plurality of panels, the upper telescoping subpanel extending across the cavity from the first panel to a second panel of the plurality of panels, the second panel positioned opposite from the first panel.
REVERSE TUCK LOCK
A foldable container moveable between a flat configuration and a three-dimensional configuration is provided. The container includes a first panel having a first engagement feature, a second panel having a second engagement feature, and a third panel having a third engagement feature. The first engagement feature is configured to engage with the second engagement feature so as to secure the container in the three-dimensional configuration. The first engagement feature is also configured to engage with the third engagement feature so as to inhibit the first engagement feature from becoming disengaged from the second engagement feature.
Tamper Evident Container
A tamper evident container (2) made from cardboard, paperboard or other lightweight foldable sheet material comprises a container body (6) comprising a first pair of opposed side wall panels (8, 10) and a second pair of side wall panels (12, 14), the side wall panels (8, 10, 12, 14) being hingedly attached to each other about respective side wall fold lines (16). A lid (22) is hingedly attached to one side wall panel (8) of the first pair of opposed side wall panels (8, 10) about a lid fold line (26). First and second closure flaps (28, 30), are hingedly attached to a respective one of the second pair of opposed wall panels (12, 14) about respective closure flap fold lines (32, 34) so as to define respective locking slots (36, 38) between a side edge of the respective closure flaps (28, 30) and the other side wall panel (10) of the first pair of side wall panels (8, 10). The lid (22) comprises a lid panel (50) hingedly attached at a proximal edge (52) to the one side wall panel (8) of the first pair of side wall panels (8, 10) about the lid fold line (26). It further comprises a locking flap (56) comprising a first locking flap panel (58) hingedly attached at a proximal edge (60) to a distal edge (62) of the lid panel (50) about a frangible line of weakness (64) and a second locking flap panel (66) hingedly attached at a proximal edge (68) to a distal edge (70) of the first locking flap panel (58) about a locking flap fold line (72). It is folded about the locking flap fold line (72) so as to lie behind and in a face to face relationship with the first locking flap panel (58). A distal end (74) of the second locking flap panel (66) comprises at least one free edge forming a locking edge (76). The locking flap (56) is insertable into the locking slots (36, 38) such that the at least one locking edge (76) of the second locking flap panel (66) engages behind the side edges of the closure flaps (36, 38) so as to lock the lid (22) in position.
Packaging box and packaging form of toner cartridge
A packaging box includes a bending piece provided at an end part of the other end side of a tubular side plate of the packaging box, and pressed while being surrounded by a breakable line and a bending line so as to be broken and bent to the inside of the box along the breakable line. In the bending state, the bending piece is configured such that its distal end part is positioned at the other end side from a receiving area of an object to be packaged and inhibits movement of the object to be packaged to the other end side.
FASTENER-FREE PACKAGING
Fastener-free packaging includes a plurality of main panels, each main panel comprising an upper panel, a central panel, and a lower panel; at least one attaching connection feature located on at least one lower panel; and at least one receiving connection feature located on at least one lower panel, wherein each lower panel is connected to at least two other lower panels by an attaching connection feature connecting to a receiving connection feature such that all lower panels are connected together thereby forming a bottom.
Container for use in item sortation devices and systems
A method of preparing a container includes manipulating it from an open toward a fully closed configuration. In the open configuration, first and second top end flaps are folded outwardly such that a first pair of handle apertures defined in a first endwall and first top end flap are aligned and a second pair of handle apertures defined in the second endwall and second top end flap are aligned along a first direction. The manipulating step comprises: folding top side flaps inwardly along a second direction until the side flaps are substantially perpendicular to the endwalls, thereby at least partially covering a top opening of the container; and folding the end flaps inwardly until they are substantially parallel with the side flaps, wherein the top side flaps underlie the respective ones of the pairs of handle apertures that are defined in the first and second top end flaps.
Child-Resistant Packaging and Related Methods
Disclosed is a child-resistant packaging. The child-resistant packaging consists of a lid featuring an I shaped slot and an I shaped tab that is inserted into and withdrawn from the slot to create an enclosure for a box that requires specific manipulation to open and close.
