CARTON AND CARTON BLANK
A carton (90) for packaging one or more articles. The carton includes a plurality of walls which extend at least partially around an interior of the carton. The plurality of walls includes at least one of top (18) and bottom (12, 24) walls, a pair of opposed side walls (14, 16 and 20, 22) and a pair of opposed end walls (26a, 28a, 30a, 34a and 26b, 28b, 30b, 34b). Each of the side walls has opposed upper (17, 19) and lower edges (13, 23). The upper edges of the side walls are disposed at a first distance (d1) from each other. The lower edges of the side walls are disposed at a second distance (d2) from each other. The first distance is substantially different from the second distance. Each of the end walls includes an upper end strap (28b, 30b) and a lower end strap (26b, 34b).
PACKAGES HAVING OCTAGONAL AUTOBOTTOMS AND BLANKS THEREFOR
In accordance with at least one aspect of this disclosure, a package can include an octagonal side body formed of at least eight body panels and an autobottom connected to the octagonal side body and formed of a plurality of bottom panels extending from a respective body panel of the plurality of the at least eight body panels. The autobottom can connect all of the at least eight body panels together in an octagonal shape when the plurality of bottom panels are interacting with each other.
Collapsible virtual reality viewer assembly
The present invention relates to a collapsible virtual reality viewer. Aspects of the viewer include a body portion and a viewing portion, each having a plurality of panels abutting fold lines. The viewer may be folded along the fold lines to move from an expanded configuration to a collapsed configuration when it is not being used. In one aspect, the viewer includes a detachable panel that is removeably coupled to the viewer along a plurality of perforations. Promotional material may be printed on or attached to the detachable panel. In another embodiment, the body portion and the viewing portion are each formed of a unitary construction in which the panels of each portion are die cut from a single piece of material and folded along fold lines to form the body and viewing portions, which are then secured together at one or more locations.
Reinforced collapsible box
A reinforced box includes a body board including a first material, the body board including a bottom panel defining a first bottom side and a second bottom side, the first bottom side positioned opposite from the second bottom side; a first side panel hingedly attached to the first bottom side of the bottom panel; and a second side panel hingedly attached to the second bottom side of the bottom panel; and an end panel including a second material, the second material being different from the first material, the end panel attached to the first side panel and the second side panel.
ORIGAMI-BASED COLLAPSIBLE AND WATERTIGHT CASES
A foldable, waterproof case includes a first wall and a second wall coupled to the first wall. The first and second walls at least partially define a cavity within the case. A lid is coupled to the second wall and is configured to selectively cover the cavity. A hinge is disposed between the first wall and the second wall. The first wall is rotatable relative to the second wall between a first, expanded position of the case and a second, collapsed position of the case. In the first position, the cavity includes a first volume and in the second position, the cavity includes a second volume that is less than the first volume. The hinge provides a waterproof connection between the first and second walls in the first position and in the second position.
Packaging container and disposal method for the same
A packaging container formed by folding a sheet material and includes a container body that has a trunk, a top and a bottom. The trunk serves as side panels, while the top and the bottom are respectively connected to ends of the trunk. In the packaging container, a first weakened portion is linearly formed in the container body.
Carton with liner
A reinforced package comprising a carton comprising a front panel, a first side panel foldably connected to the front panel along a first fold line, a back panel foldably connected to at least the first side panel along a second fold line, and a second side panel foldably connected to at least one of the front and back panels. A bag is at least partially attached to the carton. An access feature can be selectively opened for receiving products into the interior space of the bag. The access feature extends in at least a portion of the carton and the bag. The carton can be positionable in a non-erect position wherein the interior space of the bag is at least partially collapsed and in an erect position wherein the interior space of the bag is increased. The first side panel and the second side panel comprise retention features for retaining the carton in the erect position.
Expandable container
A container, movable between collapsed and expanded conditions, has a plurality of walls connected between bottom and top structures. A first wall of the plurality of walls includes first and second sections that connect together at a fold line about which the sections are rotatable between first wall collapsed and expanded conditions. The first section is connected to the bottom structure and the second section is connected to the top structure. The first wall is expandable by rotation of the first section relative to the second section in a first direction of rotation about the fold line from the first wall collapsed condition and into engagement with an abutment at the first wall expanded condition which arrests further rotation of the first section relative to the second section. The first wall is maintained in the first wall expanded condition by a load applied to the first wall.
BIODEGRADABLE COOLER
A biodegradable cooler includes an outer shell that includes a base; support walls coupled to the base, roof sections extending from the support walls. The base, the support walls, and the roof sections define a cavity of the outer shell. The outer shell further includes handle sections extending from the roof sections. The handle sections are attached to each other when the outer shell is closed. The biodegradable cooler further includes a liner disposed within in the cavity of the outer shell. The liner is made from one or more biodegradable materials.
CARRIER AND BLANK THEREFOR
Aspects of the invention are directed toward a carrier (90) for containing a product. The carrier comprises first, second and third connected side panels (16a/16b, 116a/116b, 216a/216b, 316a/316b; 14, 114, 214, 314; 12, 112, 212, 312) which define a three-sided tubular structure having a triangular cross-section.
