The invention relates to the field of manufacturing packaging primarily for food products and products that contain or exude grease and moisture. A container consists of a lid and a receptacle that widens towards the top and is made of a paper and cellulose construction material, said receptacle having a rectangular upper flange formed during the production thereof for the purpose of retaining the lid, said flange being continuous about the entire perimeter of the receptacle and being fixed at an angle to the horizontal by means of upper flaps of the lateral walls being overlapped and fastened to one another in adjoining corner parts of the flange. The technical result consists in increasing the rigidity of the entire structure, as well as obviating the need to manually bend the flaps during assembly and to set the necessary angle of incline to the horizontal or to monitor the correct positioning of the upper flaps when reclosing the lid.

The first and second body portions are joined proximate opposing sides thereof to define an interior of the container and a mouth to the interior. The container has a flat configuration with the first and second body portions in a generally planar condition and an expanded configuration with the first and second body portions in a contoured condition. First side flaps extending from the opposing sides of the first body portion are folded inwardly into the interior of the container. At least one of the first side flaps has an engagement feature disposed thereon disposed to engage the opposing first side flap when the container is the expanded configuration to form an interior dividing wall within the interior of the container. A unitary blank for forming a food container is also provided.

The extra food pocket extends from an edge of the box lid and has a pocket base with pocket sidewalls. The extra food pocket is movable between a closed position and an open position. The main food item storied in the box interior could be a dessert, a pizza, or other main dish, and the extra food item stored in the extra food pocket could be an appetizer, side dish, dessert, or extra smaller portion of a main dish.
