LID-SPOUT ASSEMBLY FOR A PACKAGE, METHOD FOR PRODUCING A LID-SPOUT ASSEMBLY AND PACKAGE HAVING A LID-SPOUT ASSEMBLY
Lid-spout assembly for a package intended to contain a pourable product and having a main body comprising a designated pour opening through which the pourable product can be poured, in use; the lid-spout assembly comprises a spout having a pouring outlet fluidly connectable with the designated pour opening; and a lid configured to be coupled to the spout to selectively close and open the pouring outlet; the spout comprises: a base frame configured to couple the spout to the main body about the designated pour opening and having a first wall configured to face, in use, the inner space of the main body, and a collar carrying the pouring outlet and protruding from the base frame; the base frame comprises a plurality of recesses obtained on the first wall.
Beverage container
A beverage container having an outer shell and an inner flexible bladder or bag having a spout for receiving a liquid therein. The container is erectable and is formed from a unitary blank of material, such as corrugated paperboard. The container includes a plurality of walls that extend from a base, and a top having first and second inclined portions that meet at an apex. The spout is oriented vertically upwardly and may be disposed in an inclined wall portion to provide various advantages, including allowing a user to fill and transport the beverage container in the same orientation. The inclined wall portion also improves pouring characteristics and visibility of the spout.
SONOTORODE
There is described a sonotrode for sealing an opening device onto a hole of a packaging material destined to from a sealed package, comprising: a sealing surface adapted to cooperate with a said packaging material in order to seal the opening device to the packaging material; a cavity bounded by an opening of sealing surface and adapted to receive the opening device; and a ring made in an elastomeric material, partially protruding inside the cavity, and adapted to center a first axis of the opening device on a second axis of the sonotrode.
Carton and blank for carton
The present invention provides a carton for a bag in box packaging. The carton has the overall configuration of a rectangular parallelepiped, with two pairs of opposing sidewalls and an upper end portion and a lower end portion, together defining a cavity for receiving a liquid holding bag. In the lower end portion there are a first pair of opposing flaps and a second pair of opposing flaps. The carton further has an opening extending through one sidewall in the lower end portion for dispensing liquid from a bag positioned inside the cavity. According to the invention the first pair of opposing flaps are foldable into an open position, in which the flaps extend outwards from the cavity to form a pair of legs. The legs are interlockable with a flap of said second pair of flaps so as firmly to fix the position of the legs with regard to the carton. The leg-forming flaps support the carton in an elevated position with respect to a surface thus facilitating dispension of liquid through the opening.
CONTAINER WITH HIGH MOISTURE BARRIER PROPERTIES AND A RECLOSABLE POUR SPOUT
A paperboard substrate that can be used to provide a food packaging particle is provided having a water vapor barrier layer comprising HDPE in combination with a nucleating agent which is extruded on to a paperboard substrate. The resulting substrate has sufficiently good water vapor barrier when properties that dry foods such as cereals do not require a bag or inner liner as a separate moisture barrier.
Forming device, machine, packaging laminate web, forming method and process in producing packages
A forming device and method for use in a packaging machine of the type where packages are produced from a tube. The forming device comprises two opposing sealing elements between which the tube is arranged to be flat-laid and squeezed to heat the thermoplastic and obtain a first transverse seal of the tube. It further comprises two volume control elements. The forming device is characterized in that it is arranged to displace the first transverse seal off-center in relation a longitudinal axis of the first portion of the tube in a displacement direction essentially perpendicular to the first transverse seal to enable later shaping of a corresponding final package with a wall arranged with a predetermined angle of inclination in relation to the displacement direction. The invention also relates to a machine, a process and a packaging laminate.
Closure device for aseptic liquid containing containers
The present invention relates to a closure device for aseptic paper or paper-based containers which can be used for storing liquid products. In particular, the present invention relates to a closure device comprising three parts. It has a pour spout which can be fixed to an outer surface of the container, a cap having a re-sealable lid portion being permanently connected to a retainment portion via a hinge and a barrier breaking device moveably attached to the pour spout and configured to break a liquid tight seal of the paper or paper-based container upon twisting said cap. The invention also relates to an assembly comprising a container and said closure device and a method for providing the assembly.
Lid assembly for a package, lid-spout group for a package and package having a lid-spout group
A lid assembly comprises a coupling ring, a lid and a connecting unit connecting the lid to the coupling ring. The lid comprises a cover wall configured to cover a pouring outlet and a sealing ring protruding away from the cover wall and configured to interact with a collar carrying the pouring outlet to seal the pouring outlet. The sealing ring comprises at least a first ring portion and a second ring portion. The first ring portion comprises a first end spaced apart from the cover wall and the second ring portion comprises a second end spaced apart from the cover wall. A first distance of the first end from the cover wall with respect to a normal axis of the cover wall is greater than a second distance of the second end from the cover wall with respect to the normal axis.
Spout for a package, lid-spout assembly for a package and package having a spout
There is described a spout for a package having a designated pour opening and being filled with a pourable product. The spout comprises at least a collar extending along a longitudinal axis, carrying a pouring outlet at a first axial end and an inlet opening for the pourable product at a second axial end and delimiting a flow channel for the pourable product extending between the pouring outlet and the inlet opening a closing element configured to interrupt a fluidic connection between the pouring outlet and the inlet opening. The closing element is interposed between the inlet opening and the pouring outlet and is rupturably fixed to an inner surface of the collar.
PACKAGE CLOSURES AND METHODS AND DEVICES FOR PRODUCING PACKAGE CLOSURES
A method of producing a package closure (10) of plastic material by means of a mould comprising movable jaws (35, 36), a counterpart (37), an outer first tool core part (38), an inner second tool core part (39) and an ejector (40), wherein the outer first tool core part, the second tool core part and the ejector are axially displaceable relative each other, comprising the steps of axially displacing the outer first tool core part and the second tool core part in relation to each other in a first direction, thereby disengaging the cap from the outer first tool core part while keeping the inner second tool core part engaged with the cap, and then axially displacing the inner second tool core part and the outer first tool core part and/or the ejector (32) in relation to each other in the first direction or in an opposite second direction while folding a foldable portion (21) of the package closure inward through an inherent flexibility of the package closure (10), Disclosed is also a device for producing the package closure (10) and various embodiments of package closures.
