Structure of storage box
A structure of a storage box includes a main body, a stacking assembly, and a forward opening. The main body has an upper and front-facing opening and a recess on the rear. The stacking assembly is attached to the main body, covers the upper and front-facing opening, and has an upper cover and a front cover, the upper cover fitted to the front cover with a snap and having a convex portion, the shape of the convex portion identical to the shape of the recess. The forward opening is a part of the upper and front-facing opening of the main body and is covered by the front cover. When two or more storage boxes are stacked, the convex portion of the second storage box embeds the recess of the first storage box, preventing the entire structure from tilting forward when the front cover of the storage box above is opened.
CONTAINER LID WITH NEST SEGMENT
A stackable container lid includes a top surface defining a flat surface plane without an upward protrusion, at least one recess in the top surface, a bottom surface including a rib structure adjacent a perimeter, and at least one nest segment integrated with the rib structure and protruding from the rib structure. The container lid is readily stackable with other container lids and is suited for handling with automation equipment.
CONTAINER APPARATUS
Apparatus and method(s) according to which a first container lid is sealingly engaged against a container body. Once so sealingly engaged, the container body is stacked onto a second container lid so that a first three-dimensional profile of the second container lid matingly receives a second three-dimensional profile of the container body, which second three-dimensional profile is located at an end portion of the container body opposite the first container lid. In one or more embodiments, the second container lid is identical to the first container lid. In one or more embodiments, the stackable containers have respective detachable and re-attachable container lids. In one or more embodiments, each container body and its corresponding detachable and re-attachable lid are both made of recyclable plastic.
SHAVING RAZOR CONTAINER
A shaving razor container with a top surface defining an upper opening. The top surface has a first pair of inner side walls defining a slot. A bottom surface of the shaving razor container defines a lower opening in communication with the upper opening. A side surface of the shaving razor container extends between the top surface and the bottom surface. A first projection extends from the bottom surface toward the top surface. The slot and the projection are configured to engage a shaving razor handle.
PAINT PACKAGE AND PAINT PACKAGE LID
A paint package lid (14, 114) includes a base wall (54) having a lid base wall upper surface (56) and a lid base wall lower surface (58), a container coupling rim (60) disposed radially outwardly with respect to the base wall and having a rim upper surface (62), and a closure well (64, 164) disposed radially inwardly with respect to the base wall. The closure well includes a radially outer wall (82) extending downwardly with respect to the base wall, a lower wall (84) extending radially inwardly with respect to the radially outer wall and establishing a lowermost surface (85) of the lid, and a neck (86, 186) disposed radially inwardly with respect to the radially outer wall and extending upwardly from the lower wall and having a closure coupling (95). Also disclosed is a lid and closure assembly and a paint package (10, 110, 210) including the lid.
Bucket and lid systems and apparatuses
A lid for a bucket comprises a center portion and at least one side portion. In some embodiments, the side portion is removably coupled to the center portion. In some embodiments, the side portion is hingedly connected to the center portion and includes at least one cutout suitable for receiving a bail mount of the bucket. The hinged connection between the center portion and the side portion may be on an axis substantially perpendicular to an axis on which plural bail mounts of the bucket lie.
Modular storage system
A modular storage system includes a number of receptacles and lids with different sizes and features that are interchangeably coupleable to each other in a stacking arrangement. A first lid has slits to provide access to a receptacle and a second lid has a suction cup and is structured to be interchangeably coupleable to the receptacle and the first lid. A user can remove the second lid from the top of the first lid and secure the second lid to the bottom of the receptacle with the suction cup secured to an external surface. A third lid includes an opening covered by a deflectable membrane. The membrane prevents liquid from spilling from the opening if the receptacle is knocked over. A straw can be inserted through the membrane and opening to provide further functionality.
WEATHERPROOF STORAGE TOTE
The storage tote has a main body and a lid. The main body includes a bottom section, a plurality of sidewalls defining an open end, and a rim formed in the sidewalls adjacent the open end of the main body. The lid includes a base and a lip disposed adjacent the base, the lid adapted to cover the open end of the main body. The lip includes a plurality of latch receiving section, each of the latch receiving section includes at least one lock receiving section. A seal is disposed adjacent the lip of the lid and abuts the rim of the main body when the lid is covering the open end of the main body. The storage tote has at least one latch. The latch is connected to the main body of the storage tote and includes at least one locking mechanism.
Lid featuring ease of use and improved release from a tray or container
A lid and tray assembly includes at least two lift tabs and/or indentations at separated but not directly opposing locations about the lid periphery that can be actuated simultaneously or sequentially to provide two distinct locations from which initial disengagements can extend and merge to enable easy removal of the entire lid. Embodiments further include locations that can be pressed while corresponding tabs are lifted. Some embodiments include a peripheral skirt that is short enough to allow a user's fingers to pass beneath and support the tray sidewalls when lifting the tray-lid assembly from a horizontal surface, avoiding any need for the lid engagement to bear the weight of the tray and its contents. Lid-tray engagement can be by means of inserting a lid peripheral rim into a tray lip groove, or by engaging a lid rim undercut with a tray lip undercut.
Methods for fabricating lids for vessels
A method for fabricating a lid for attachment to a vessel having an open top surrounded by a peripheral edge portion, includes injection molding from a molten plastic material a first shot structure defining a web portion, a peripheral portion surrounding the web portion; in a second shot procedure, over-molding an elastomeric material different from said plastic material onto the first short structure to form a seal structure portion integrated with the lid portion to form a unitary lid-seal structure, wherein the seal structure portion is permanently adhered to the peripheral portion of the first shot structure, and wherein the seal structure portion is configured to provide an air-tight seal between the lid and a sealing surface portion of the peripheral edge of the vessel when the lid is attached to the vessel.
