IMPROVED USER-FRIENDLY TAMPER-RESISTANT/TAMPER-EVIDENT CONTAINER-SEAL SYSTEM FOR CONTAINERS OF CONSUMER GOODS AND METHODS OF USE
The inventive disclosures described herein pertain to an improved tamper-resistant/tamper-evident (TE) seal for containers of consumer/commercial product-containment vessels (such as, for example, prescription bottles, condiment bottles, etc.) that enables a user, and in particular older persons, to better grip and/or exert leverage to more-easily and reliably open such containers. In one embodiment of the improved TE seal, a typical prior-art seal configuration that features an inner seal with a small overlapping flexible pull-tab layer is improved by affixing the pull-tab to another substantially rigid upper layer such that a user can insert the pull-tab member between two of the user's fingers wherein the two user fingers are also disposed between the inner seal and the substantially rigid upper layer such that a user can more easily exert leverage/force to open the container that employs the tamper-resistant seal. This configuration is generally referred to as a “T-tab” configuration.
Child-Resistant Container and Related Methods
Disclosed is a child-resistant container with a notch and peg locking mechanism for storing cannabis flowers, edibles, concentrates, substances, pre-rolls, and vape cartridges.
CLOSING CAP ARRANGEMENT
The invention relates to a closing cap arrangement (80) for being disposed on an outlet opening of a vessel realised as a pot or a bottle, the closing cap arrangement having a multipart design, the closing cap arrangement comprising an enveloping cap (81) and an inner cap (82) provided with a connective element for detachably connecting the closing cap arrangement to the outlet opening and realised independently of the enveloping cap, the inner cap and the enveloping cap being connected to each other via a detachable connection realised as a form-fit, substance-to-substance or force-fit connection.
A CAP FOR A FOOD PACKAGE
Disclosed herein is a cap configured to interact with a neck. In some embodiments, the cap comprises an inner wall portion and at least one cutting element projecting radially inwards from the inner wall portion. In some embodiments, the cutting element has a hinge portion connected to the inner wall portion, and a cutting portion extending radially inwards from the hinge portion, wherein a first axial thickness of the hinge portion is between 35 and 80% of a second axial thickness of the cutting portion. Also disclosed herein is an assembly comprising the cap and a spout having a membrane closing a tubular member of the spout.
RECYCLABLE CONTAINER CLOSURE HAVING INFORMATIONAL AND/OR ANTI-COUNTERFEITING CAPABILITIES
A “smart” closure system, apparatus, and method are contemplated. The closure includes mechanical capture and release mechanisms, electromechanical and/or optical indicators, wireless technologies, and/or web-based or remote authentication, verification, and serialization via remotely located data servers. A mobile computing device may further augment certain functions. The resulting system allows for anti-counterfeiting, authentication, serialization, and other capabilities.
A CAP AND NECK ASSEMBLY FOR A FOOD PACKAGE
A cap and neck assembly for closing an upper end of a package (10) is provided. The neck (20) is formed by a tubular member (110) being provided with external threads (22), and an upper tubular portion (120) extending from the tubular member (110) and being releasably attached to a membrane (150) closing an upper end of said upper portion (120). The cap has a lower portion the threads (22) of the neck (20), and an upper portion (33) being provided with at least one cutting element (50) configured to separate the membrane (150) from the neck (20). When the cap (30) is threaded onto the neck (20) to its axial end position for the first time prior to separating the membrane (150) from the neck (20), the axial distance between a cutting edge (54) of the cutting element (50) and the membrane flange (170) is less than 1 mm.
CONTAINER LIDS AND METHODS OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME
The invention provides a container lid (1) comprising: a closure panel (7) comprising an inside surface and an outside surface; a container fastening portion (9); and a liner (5) comprising one or more layers, connected to the inside surface of the closure panel, wherein the liner or at least a lowermost layer of the liner is detachable from the closure panel, characterized in that said container lid comprises a resilient portion (15) located between said closure panel and said fastening portion.
Bottle can, bottle can with cap, and method for manufacturing bottle can
The present application improves the shape of a curl part of a bottle can to secure high sealability even under high pressure in the can and during heat sterilization, makes bubbling-over occur less during cap opening, and suppresses misrecognition of reseal. A bottle can has a curl part provided at an opening end of a mouth part. The curl part includes an outer wall part extending downward from an upper end bent part. The outer wall part includes a first bent part shaping a locking part that extends continuously and downwardly from the upper end bent part and shapes an outwardly-protruding convex, and a second bent part that extends continuously and downwardly from the first bent part and shapes an inwardly-protruding convex.
ALUMINUM IMPACT EXTRUDED BOTTLE WITH THREADED NECK MADE FROM RECYCLED ALUMINUM AND ENHANCED ALLOYS
The present invention relates generally to forming a threaded neck in a metal bottle manufactured by a process known as impact extrusion. More specifically, the present invention relates to methods, apparatus and alloy compositions used in the impact extrusion manufacturing of containers and other articles with sufficient strength characteristics to allow threading the container necks to receive a threaded closure on the threaded neck.
Shaker Top With Freshness Seal And Method Of Making Same
A shaker top for dispensing products in a container, including a top unit having a peelable protective cover affixed upon a dispensing liner having at least one perforation, the top unit affixed to a mouth of a container. A method of manufacturing a shaker top with a peelable protective cover, including the steps of affixing a peelable protective cover upon a dispensing liner, assembling a top unit including the peelable protective cover and the dispensing liner, affixing the top unit to a mouth of a container, and covering the container with a cap. A shaker top with a peelable protective cover attached to a container, manufactured by the method of manufacture. A method of using a container having a shaker top with a freshness seal.
