SAFETY-CAP BOTTLE ASSEMBLY
A safety-cap container with a cap assembly that couples with a finish to close the opening into the interior space. The cap assembly includes an outer cap with an outer wall. A spring member extends from an inner face of the upper wall. An inner cap nests within the outer cap. The inner cap includes an outer cylindrical wall with an inner thread configured to engage with the thread of the finish. The inner cap is rotatable with respect to the outer cap and the spring member engages with an upper face of the transverse wall of the inner cap to bias the transverse wall of the inner cap away from the upper wall of the outer cap.
SQUEEZE CAP CONTAINER
A container including a base and a cap is provided. The base can include a pull down ramp and first threads on an exterior of the base and the cap can include one or more engagement lugs and second threads on an interior of the cap. The one or more engagement lugs are configured to engage with the pull down ramp to couple the cap to the base and form a hollow section between the cap and the base below the one or more engagement lugs and the pull down ramp and the one or more engagement lugs are configured to disengage from the pull down ramp to decouple the cap from the base when the cap is compressed into the hollow section. The second threads are configured to engage with the first threads to tighten a top of the cap against an upper lip of the base.
Closure for container with informational and/or anti-counterfeiting capabilities
A “smart” closure system, apparatus, and method are contemplated. The closure includes mechanical capture and release mechanisms, electromechanical and/or optical indicators, wireless technologies, and/or web-based or remote authentication, verification, and serialization via remotely located data servers. A mobile computing device may further augment certain functions. The resulting system allows for anti-counterfeiting, authentication, serialization, and other capabilities.
Induction heat seal liner and method of manufacture
Induction heat-seal liner that allows a visual inspection of the product in the container to be made through the seal, and/or an aroma from the product to be detected through the seal, while the seal remains secured to the container to protect against leakage or contamination. In one embodiment, the liner has an intermediate metal-foil layer having a central opening, and a central liner portion, aligned in a thickness direction with a central opening of a metal-foil layer, comprises one or more materials or spaces that provide visibility into and/or aroma penetration from the open mouth of the container. In another embodiment, a dual heat-seal liner having a dispensing aperture is provided that heat seal bonds to both the cap and container to form a non-removable closure assembly that protects the metal-foil layer from degradation by the product being dispensed.

Oxygen ingress controlling cap closure
Systems and methods for controlling oxygen ingress in cap closures are herein disclosed. According to one embodiment, the current apparatus includes a cap and a cap liner. The cap liner includes a primary oxygen barrier layer and a first diffusive layer. A first side of the first diffusive layer is adjacent to a first side of the primary oxygen barrier layer. A second &de of the first diffusive layer contacts a lip-sealing surface of a bottle. The oxygen transmission rate of the cap liner is controlled by varying a thickness of the first diffusive layer.
Shaker top with freshness seal and method of making same
A shaker top for dispensing products in a container, including a top unit having a peelable protective cover affixed upon a dispensing liner having at least one perforation, the top unit affixed to a mouth of a container. A method of manufacturing a shaker top with a peelable protective cover, including the steps of affixing a peelable protective cover upon a dispensing liner, assembling a top unit including the peelable protective cover and the dispensing liner, affixing the top unit to a mouth of a container, and covering the container with a cap. A shaker top with a peelable protective cover attached to a container, manufactured by the method of manufacture. A method of using a container having a shaker top with a freshness seal.
CONTAINER LID AND LINER, AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME
This invention provides for a laminated liner (2) for a food or beverage ingredient container lid (416) comprising at least one lower layer (4) comprising one or more perforations (8) and at least one upper layer (6) comprising no perforations, and wherein the non-perforated upper layer or layers is/are releasably attached to the perforated lower layer or layers.
Multi-chamber tube container and cap
A tube cap (104) for a multi-chamber tube container (102) comprises a base plate (106) and a lid (120). The base plate is coupleable to the multi-chamber tube container and has an opening disposed therein, wherein the opening is positionable in communication with at least a first tube head (114) of a first tube (112) of the multi-chamber tube container. The lid is removably coupleable to the base plate and has both a pintle (122) extending from and a gasket (124) disposed on an inner surface thereof. When the lid and the base plate are coupled, the pintle extends into and seals a first orifice (108) disposed in the first tube head and the gasket is urged into sealing contact with a second orifice (110) disposed in a second tube head (118) of a second tube (116) of the multi-chamber tube container.
SPOUT CAP, SPOUT, AND CONTAINER WITH SPOUT
A spout cap is a spout cap for closing a mouth portion of a spout main body, and includes a cylindrical body portion made of resin, and a sealing film joined to the body portion, in which the sealing film has a thermal bonding layer which is configured to join to a distal end surface of the mouth portion when the mouth portion is closed.
