BOTTLE CAP ASSEMBLY
20210086964 · 2021-03-25 ·

There are described bottle cap assemblies. In some embodiments, a bottle cap assembly includes a cap which is snappingly engeable to a bottle and disengageable by rotating the cap and the bottle relative to one another, squeezing the cap suitably and pulling the cap away from the bottle.

Plugging-type resin cap

Provided is a plugging-type resin cap which can sufficiently seal a container and in which, upon uncapping of the container, a restraining band loosens after the pressure in the container is released without the application of an excessive force. A plugging-type resin cap (100) includes a restraining band (130), a tab (140), and engagement projections (151). The restraining band (130) has an arcuate restraining portion (131), stoppers (132), and an upwardly projecting portion (133). The stoppers (132) are formed to extend radially outward from the circumferential both ends of the restraining portion (131). The engagement projections (151) are disposed over an outer side surface of a skirt wall (120) in the vicinity of the circumferential both ends of a tab (140). The stoppers (132) and the engagement projections (151) are formed to be fittable with each other.

Delaminatable container

A delaminatable container, including: a container body; and a press-fit cap mounted to the container body. The container body is configured to include a storage portion to store contents and a mouth having an opening to discharge the contents from the storage portion, the storage portion and the mouth having an outer layer and an inner layer, and having an inner bag composed of the inner layer to be shrunk with a decrease in the contents, the mouth includes a mouth-side engagement section provided along an outer circumferential surface of the mouth, the cap includes a cap-side engagement section provided along an inner circumferential surface of the cap, the mouth-side engagement section and the cap-side engagement section are configured to be engageable with each other while the cap is mounted to the mouth.

Container and cap

In the container, when the cap is capped on the container opening portion, an inner wall surface of a cylindrical sub-fitting wall portion of the cap and an outer wall surface of a large diameter opening portion of the container opening portion closely contact each other, and an outer wall surface of a cylindrical main fitting wall portion of the cap and an inner wall surface of a small diameter opening portion of the container opening portion closely contact each other. In this way, pressing force that is applied to the outer wall surface of the cylindrical main fitting wall portion of the cap from the inner wall surface of the small diameter opening portion of the container opening portion is increased.

Storage container systems

A container system includes a first container including a bottom wall, at least one sidewall, and an open top, with a plurality of indented recesses formed in the bottom wall. A first lid closes the open top of the first container. A second container includes a bottom wall, at least one sidewall, and an open top. A second lid closes the open top of the second container, with a push indicator structure formed at a center portion of the second lid, and with a plurality of registration bumps formed about the push indicator structure. The first container is stackable on the second lid such that (i) each of the registration bumps in the second lid is aligned with an adjacent one of the recesses in the bottom wall of the first container and (ii) surfaces of the registration bumps are spaced from surfaces of the adjacent recesses.

Resilient Fluid Funneling Assembly for Use with a Fluid Dispensing Vessel
20200071038 · 2020-03-05 ·

A resilient fluid funneling assembly for use with a fluid dispensing vessel is described, and which includes a resilient main body defining, at least in part, a fluid collection region, and wherein a fluid draining aperture is formed in a predetermined location of the main body, and extends therethrough; and an elongated and resilient fluid draining conduit cooperates with the main body and which further is disposed in fluid receiving relation relative to the fluid draining aperture, and wherein the fluid draining conduit has a distal end which delivers a source of fluid which is collected by the fluid collection region to a user.

CAPPED CONTAINER

A pathogen container having a cap, a receptacle and a specimen collection member. The cap attaches to the receptacle creating a water and air tight enclosure. The receptacle has a plurality of retention members that engage with a plurality of openings in the cap to retain the cap to the receptacle. At least one alignment member on the receptacle corresponds with at least one alignment recession in the cap. The receptacle has an annular ridge extending radially outward proximate an open end of the receptacle. The cap has an annular lip that extends outward from the edge of an open end of the cap.

CONTAINER CLOSURE

The invention relates to a container closure for closing a container opening of a container having a casing, a cover disc which abuts the upper end of the casing, a dispensing opening which is provided on the cover disc, a first sealing element which is formed on the inner side of the cover disc and is provided to project sealingly into the container opening, and a cap which closes or opens the dispensing opening. On the casing, at least one latch opening is provided which can interact with a latch element of the container.

A container and associated closure provide an angled spout with a leak free seal. The container and closure are disposed about a longitudinal axis. A neck finish extending from a body of the container includes a spout establishing an axial end surface of the finish located in a plane disposed at a non-perpendicular angle relative to the axis. The finish further includes a radially inner surface including a sealing surface located axially between the axial end surface and the body and disposed at an angle with respect to the axis. The closure includes an annular base wall facing the axial end surface of the finish, radially outer and inner walls extending away from the base wall and a transverse wall extending radially inwardly from the radially inner wall and axially spaced from the base wall. The transverse wall defines a sealing surface configured to seal against the container sealing surface.
