Spout assembly, packaging container, and method of producing spout assembly
A spout assembly a spout, a cap, a band portion, and a rib. The spout has a side wall having a cylindrical shape, an external thread, and a flange. The cap has a top plate, a peripheral wall connected to an outer peripheral edge of the top plate, and an internal thread screwed to the external thread. The band portion is connected to an end of the peripheral wall to fix the cap to the spout at a position between the peripheral wall and the spout. The rib connects the peripheral wall to the band portion and protrudes toward an inside of the cap from the inner peripheral surface at an end portion of the peripheral wall and an inner peripheral surface of the band portion. The spout further has a protrusion provided on the side wall to restrict movement of the cap and the band portion.
Containers having tamper evident features and methods related thereto
A container (10) having tamper evident features comprising: a bottle (12) having a neck (34) with an opening (14) at a distal end (16) and a base (20) at a proximal end (18) thereof; a cap (22) received on the neck (34) and movably retained on the bottle (12) wherein the cap (22) includes a first tamper evident feature (24) to provide an indication of tampering to an end user, the cap (22) further includes a second tamper evident feature (32) which becomes visible only when the first tamper evident feature (24) removed partially or completely from the bottle (12).
Spout for a container and package-spout assembly
A spout for a container filled with a pourable product. The spout comprises at least a collar having a pouring outlet configured to allow an out-pouring of the pourable product and a lid assembly having a coupling ring rotatably arranged around the collar and a lid hinged to the coupling ring and angularly movable around a respective hinge axis. The lid is controllable between at least a closing configuration, an open configuration and an intermediate configuration. The spout comprises an interaction device partially associated to the collar and partially associated to the lid. The interaction device is configured such that control of the lid from the closing configuration to the intermediate configuration is possible only by rotation of the lid and the coupling ring around a rotation axis and such that control of the lid from the intermediate configuration to the closing configuration is possible by a sole angular movement of the lid around the hinge axis from the intermediate angular position to the closing angular position.
Releasable container cap
A container has an improved releasable cap that is releasable with upward movement of the cap. A coupler also couples the cap to the container and provides for a stowed position in which the cap does not interfere with use of the container, and maintains the cap in a connected to configuration with the container at all times.
Resealable Dispensing Element for a Cardboard/Plastic Composite Package with a Screw Cap Attached to It and Method for Mounting a Screw Cap
A resealable dispensing element for a composite package is shown and described including a main body with a flange and a hollow cylindrical spout with at least one outer thread, an opening means guided movably in the spout for opening the composite package and a resealable screw cap, having an anchor ring. The screw cap serves to drive the opening means when the composite package is opened for the first time and wherein the screw cap and the anchor ring are connected by a plurality of breakable material bridges or at least by a material anchorage for connection to the main body. The main body on the spout has at least one circumferential web for securely holding the anchor ring and wherein the anchor ring has on its inside a circumferential retaining web shaped such that it corresponds with the circumferential web, as well as a method for mounting the screw cap for such a dispensing element. In order to reliably rule out tilting of the anchor ring during the mounting process of the dispensing element, it is provided that the main body has a plurality of vertical guide ribs arranged distributed over the circumference on the spout between the outer thread and the circumferential web for uniformly stretching the anchor ring when the screw cap is applied during the mounting of the dispensing element.
ANTIMICROBIAL BOTTLE WITH ANTIMICROBIAL SEAL
A bottle having an antimicrobial property is provided. The bottle has one or more components including a body, a cap, a seal, and a locking ring. One or more of the components of the bottle are treated with an antimicrobial agent or comprise an antimicrobial agent. The antimicrobial agent is a silver-based antimicrobial, a silver-glass antimicrobial, or other antimicrobial.
SPOUT FOR A CONTAINER AND PACKAGE-SPOUT ASSEMBLY
A spout for a container filled with pourable product includes a collar having a pouring outlet to allow out-pouring of the product and a lid assembly having a coupling ring rotatably arranged around the collar and a lid hinged to the coupling ring and angularly movable around a hinge axis. The lid is controllable between a closing configuration, an open configuration and an intermediate configuration. An interaction device is partially associated to the collar and to the lid, and is configured such that control of the lid from the closing configuration to the intermediate configuration is possible only by rotation of the lid and the coupling ring around a rotation axis and such that control of the lid from the intermediate configuration to the closing configuration is possible by a sole angular movement of the lid around the hinge axis from the intermediate angular position to the closing angular position.
All-plastic pouring spout and closure assembly
A securing ring is snap-fittingly engageable over and around an annular mounting flange of a foldable pouring spout in a container closure assembly, with a frangible connection between the securing ring and a spout closure member (e.g. a screw cap) intact. The assembled closure assembly is snap-fittingly engageable over and around a container neck which is received in a groove extending circumferentially about the mounting flange. The groove is defined in part by a radially outer wall having a proximal portion lying towards the pouring end of the spout and a distal end portion lying away from the pouring end of the spout. The radially outer wall comprises a central flexure zone of reduced radial width relative to the proximal and distal end portions, whereby the distal end portion is hingeingly deflectable between a radially outer position for extraction of the spout from a mold tool, and a radially inner position for engagement in an annular undercut in a radially outer surface of the container neck. When the securing ring is snap-fittingly engaged over and around the mounting flange, the distal end portion is held in the radially inner position. The distal end portion comprises a chamfer at its radially inner side and which extends radially inwards towards the pouring end of the spout for guiding the closure assembly into snap-fitting engagement with the container neck.
