Aircraft overhead bin net system

An overhead stowage bin includes a ceiling panel, a back panel, a lower panel, and a plurality of side panels, a cabin door, a net, and a locking mechanism. The ceiling panel, the back panel, the lower panel, and the plurality of side panels defining a volume configured to stow luggage. The cabin door is configured to enclose the volume and configured to rotate about a hinge disposed on the ceiling panel. The net is configured to extend along the cabin door in an extended position. The locking mechanism is configured to lock the net to the cabin door.

SINGLE MOTION UNLATCH AND OPEN LATCH MECHANISM

An apparatus includes a base defining a cavity; a lid coupled to the base and movable to close the cavity or open the cavity; and a latch able to be transitioned between a latched position and an unlatched position. The latch includes a handle pivotable between the latched position and the unlatched position; a guide member pivotably coupled to the handle, the guide member including a cam path; and a latching member pivotably coupled to the handle, the latching member including a cam disposed within the cam path. The cam path is structured such that, when the latch is in the unlatched position, the cam is disposed at a position in the cam path such that the latch is maintained in the unlatched position absent a force applied to the latch.

Closure mechanism with locking device for sterile containers, and sterile container comprising same

A sterile container and a closure mechanism for the sterile container. The sterile container includes a container pan and a container lid. The container lid is lockable to the container pan by the closure mechanism. The closure mechanism has a bar element for undercut engagement with an engagement element arranged on the container pan or on the container lid and which forms an undercut. The bar element is positionable in a closed position, in which the bar element is operatively engaged with the engagement element via the undercut, and in a release position, in which the bar element and the engagement element are disengaged. The closure mechanism includes a locking element that is operatively connectable to the bar element and which is integrated into the closure mechanism in such a way that the locking element blocks the closure mechanism when the closed position is reached.
