20240158145 · 2024-05-16 ·

A closure system can be attached to existing paint pails, cans, and other, similar metallic containers. It includes a crimped insert ring attaching to the container and a primary lid, preferably having tamper-evident features. A secondary lid is seated on and seals to the primary lid, with the secondary lid possibly being made partially or completely from plastics, thereby facilitating its ability to reseal the paint container by way of a plug seal. The insert, primary lid, and secondary lid may have one or more annular grooves or ridges to facilitate their attachment to one another.

Container cap and method of piercing a seal covering an opening of a container

The container cap includes a cap body including a cylindrical-shaped side wall having a bottom edge that defines an opening to an interior of the cap body, and a top wall portion integrated with the cylindrical-shaped side wall and at least partially enclosing the interior of the cap body. The container cap further includes a seal opening assembly integrated with the cap body. The seal opening assembly includes a slot defined in the top wall portion of the cap body, and a seal piercing member formed on a first side of the slot. The seal piercing member is configured to pierce the seal covering the access opening.

CONTAINER FOR A GOVERNMENT REGULATED PRODUCT HAVING A CHILD RESISTANT LID

Provided is a container for storing, preserving, identifying, tracking and transporting a federally controlled substance having a child resistant and senior friendly lid, and a process for identifying and tracking federally controlled substances within the re-sealable containers. The federally controlled substance containers include a two-piece child resistant and senior friendly lid and a 2-factor authentication identification tag, as well as a microchip for identifying the container controlled substance contents and tracking the container. Controlled substance contents within the containers are optimized for long term storage by removal of the oxygen therein, and the containers and controlled substance contents can be readily identified, detected, tracked and traced after being filled with a federally controlled substance.

Container lid composed of inside plug and lid body

A container lid is composed of a synthetic resin inside plug to be mounted on the mouth of a container, and a synthetic resin lid to be mounted on the inside plug. A breakable thin-walled line formed in a closing wall has an outer arcuate portion extending from a breakage start end portion, and an inner arcuate portion extending from the breakage start end portion, and defines an arcuate deformation region. A locked element is annexed to the deformation region, and a locking element is in the lid. When the lid is rotated in a predetermined direction, the locking element is locked to the locked element. When the lid is rotated further in the predetermined direction, a force is exerted on the deformation region via the locking element and the locked element, so that the breakable thin-walled line of the inside plug is broken and the deformation region is deformed.

Container spout

The invention relates to a pourer (1) of a container comprising a pouring nozzle (2) which forms a pouring channel and on the external thread (3) of which a covering cap (4) is screwed. A sealing stopper (6) which closes the pouring channel is guided non-rotatably and is vertically displaceable in the pouring channel of the pouring nozzle. The sealing stopper (6) is retained on the cap which is rotatable relative thereto, such that a screwing on of the cap leads to a lifting of the sealing stopper (6) in the pouring channel. The cap (4) has an upper opening in which the sealing stopper (6) lies with the upper end thereof. The upper end of the sealing stopper (6) has at least one tamper-evident part (7) which breaks off or breaks up when the cap is unscrewed relative to the non-rotatably retained sealing stopper.

Safety closure for containers
10246230 · 2019-04-02 · ·

A safety closure for containers comprising a cover (3) and an internal element (4), the internal element being formed of a constraining portion (5) and a covering portion (6), the covering portion and the constraining portion being at least partially interconnected by means of at least a first preferential breakage zone (7B) which, when intact, joins them to each other, the constraining portion being provided with blocking means at the neck of a container with which the closure is intended to be associated and with first constraining means (10) which removably attach the cover, the internal element having sealing means (12) which, at least when the seal is intact, preserve the container content integrity.

Cap with a tamper evidence and a spout

A cap arranged to interact with a spout. The cap includes a top section, a side wall section attached to the top section and a tamper element attached to the side wall section in a tearing interface. The tearing interface may be provided with a weakening line that is arranged to break when the cap is unscrewed such that the tamper element is separated from the side wall section. The cap further includes at least one resilient cutting element arranged to the side wall. The at least one resilient cutting element is arranged to cut off a membrane of the spout when the cap is unscrewed. The cap is arranged such that the weakening line is arranged to break before the membrane of the spout is cut off when the cap is being unscrewed from the spout.

Liquid dispensing nozzle and device comprising a cap

A liquid dispensing nozzle having an opening, a removable cap, a residual liquid evaporation path between the opening and the exterior of the nozzle, an element for blocking the evaporation path, mobile in the cap between a blocking position and a position opening the evaporation path, the cap including an exterior envelope and an interior envelope that are coaxial, and mobile relative to one another in an axial direction between: a storage configuration; a configuration for unscrewing the cap when a bearing force exerted on the cap has an intensity greater than a predetermined threshold; a safety configuration if a bearing force exerted on the cap has an intensity lower than the predetermined threshold or if no bearing force is exerted on the cap, the blocking element being configured to be driven by the movement of the exterior envelope to pass from the blocking position to the opening position.

FITMENT FOR A FLEXIBLE CONTAINER
20190039801 · 2019-02-07 · ·

A fitment (20, 20A) is provided for a flexible, collapsible container (22) with an opening. The fitment (20, 20A) has a body (24, 24A) with an inner end (31) and an outer end (32) and an access passage (30) for communicating with an interior of the container (22). The body (24, 24A) has a height defined between the inner end (31) and outer end (32). The body (24, 24A) has a sealing portion (36, 36A) for being attached to the interior of the container (22). The sealing portion (36) has a major dimension (MD) oriented generally transverse of the height of the body (24, 24A). The fitment (20, 20A) further has a pour lip (46, 46A) that extends from the body outer end (32) and projects laterally relative to the access passage (30).
