Container blanks for flexible packages and methods of making flexible packages
A container blank having an article handling feature for handling the container blank as well as the flexible packages made therefrom during manufacture, and method of making flexible packages using such a feature are described herein. Also described herein is an array of flexible packages containing a common article handling feature provided by such a method.
MULTILAYER STRUCTURE HAVING A COHESIVE LAYER
A cohesive sealant layer directly adhered to two adjacent layers. One adjacent layer comprising predominately polyester. The other adjacent layer comprising predominately polyethylene polymers. The cohesive sealant layer being a blend including polyester and at least a compatibilizer such that the cohesive sealant layer has an opening strength of between 0.4 and 3.4 lb-f/in or between 0.9 and 3.0 lb-f/in measured according to ASTM F88 with a crosshead speed of 10 inches per minute, using a 1-inch wide sample. The cohesive sealant layer having a bond strength to both of the adjacent layers which is greater than the opening strength resulting in in a continuous portion of the cohesive sealant layer remaining adhered to the two adjacent layers when subjected to a force greater than the opening strength.
Flexible pouch for two-component products
A flexible pouch for two-component products includes a front panel, a back panel and a pair of side seals. An upper compartment is formed between the front panel, the back panel, one of the pair of side seals, an intermediate side seal and a bottom frangible seal. A lower compartment is formed beneath the upper compartment between the front panel and the back panel. A vertical passage extends between the intermediate side seal and another of the pair of side seals from the lower compartment to an opening. Rupture of the bottom frangible seal provides a fluid passageway from the upper compartment to the lower compartment.
RESEALABLE BAG ENCLOSURE
A resealable bag enclosure may be provided that includes a film having an opposing first side and second side coupled with each other, and a resealable zipper assembly coupled with the first side and the second side of the film. The first side and the second side of the film together may form a pattern at an opening stop location disposed between the first and second edges of the film and adjacent to an end of the zipper assembly. The pattern of the first side and the second side of the film may also resist opening of the resealable bag enclosure beyond the end of the zipper assembly when the first side and the second side of the film are pulled apart to prevent the peel seal from extending beyond the pattern.
PASTRY BAG AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THEREOF
A container and method of making the same is provided herein. The container may be configured to hold a dispensable material. The container can include a first sheet of a material and a second sheet of the material. The first sheet of material includes a folded portion across a first end of the first sheet. The second sheet of material includes a folded portion across a first end of the second sheet. The first sheet and the second sheet are bonded together across the folded portion of the first sheet and the folded portion of the second sheet to form a tip portion. The tip portion includes a passage between the folded portion of the first sheet of material and the folded portion of the second sheet of material.
Easy Access Woven Plastic Bags
A woven laminated plastic bag having a weakened portion is provided. The weakened portion is generally defined by a plurality of perforations in the bag. In various aspects the bag can be fabricated from woven polypropylene and/or polyethylene layer which can be laminated with a film layer, can form a pinch bottom bag, and can have one or both sides include graphics and/or printing. The bag can also provide a top end and/or a bottom end either or both of which provide a discrete area which may contain discrete graphics and/or printing.
Sheet material container
[Problem to be Solved] To prevent delamination of a film layer in a sheet material container in which an enclosing portion is formed in an interlayer between a first film layer and a second film layer. [Solution] A sheet material container includes a container body 6, and an inner container 7 that is covered by the container body 6 and defines an accommodation space, wherein the container body 6 is formed of a sheet material 3 including a first film layer 1 and a second film layer 2 disposed inside the first film layer 1, the sheet material 3 has a joint portion 32 at which an interlayer between the first film layer 1 and the second film layer 2 is joined and an enclosing portion 51 in which a filler can be enclosed in the interlayer between the first film layer 1 and the second film layer 2, and the first film layer 1 has an extruded multilayer structural part having a polyolefin resin layer 11/an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer resin layer 12 on a side facing the enclosing portion 51.
Container
A container includes a container portion having a storage space in which contents are stored, a spout coupled to the container portion and through which the contents in the container portion are discharged, and a nozzle configured to discharge the contents in fixed amounts, wherein the contents enter the nozzle from the head portion, and the spout and the nozzle are integrally formed.
Easy To Open Package With Controlled Dispensing Device
A package or container is disclosed that includes an opening device in conjunction with a self-sealing valve for facilitating opening of the package and for dispensing fluids in a controlled manner. In one embodiment, the opening device can comprise a breachable bubble. The breachable bubble can be in communication with a fluid channel that operates in conjunction with the self-sealing valve. The package can include a folded portion for sealing the fluid channel and allowing the bubble to be breached when a user applies pressure. Once the bubble is breached, the folded portion can be unfolded for dispensing a fluid.
