A container includes: a storage member having a bottom-surface member and a side-surface member; and two protectors disposed at two corners adjacent to each other, the two corners belonging to four corners of a storage space. Each of the two protectors has a support portion detachably fitted in a corresponding one of two cuts, a first reception portion having a first reception surface facing an end surface of a housed object, and a second reception portion having a second reception surface facing an end surface of the housed object. The first and/or second reception portion is integral with the support portion. The second reception portion has, in at least a part adjacent to a bottom surface, an evacuation portion in which a distance between the second reception surface and a side surface of the side-surface member facing the second reception surface increases along with approach to the bottom surface.

Various embodiments of the present disclosure provide an improved edge protector having two plies wrapped around a core and a method of manufacturing the improved edge protector.

A container (100) comprises: an accommodation member (10) that includes a base surface member (12) that defines a base surface of an accommodation space (10s), and a side surface member (14) that defines a side surface of the accommodation space; and a protection member (20a) that has a receiving surface that abuts an object to be accommodated. The side surface member (14) includes a cutaway section (15a) that faces the accommodation space (10s). The protection member (20a) includes: an inner member (22a) provided with a receiving section that has a receiving surface (23); and an outer member (32a) disposed between the inner, member (22a) and the side surface member (14) and fitting together with the inner member (22a) so as to be able to slide in a direction that intersects the base surface. A storage container includes: a storage portion having a rectangular bottom portion, a side wall, and a hollow region; positioning members positioning a rectangular plate-like structural body inside the hollow region; positioning members positioning a rectangular plate-like structural body inside the hollow region; and grooves formed in the storage portion, each of the grooves being formed in the inner side surface at an inner corner of the bottom surface, and two of the grooves being formed at two inner corners adjacent to each other. The compression resistant package for wall and ceiling tile includes a first container having a box portion and a cover. An L-shaped corner protection member is provided inside the box portion at each of the tour corners of the box portion. Each of the L-shaped corner protection members have two intersecting legs that respectively extend alongside predetermined portions of the interior wall surfaces of the box portion. The corner protection members have a height that extends upwardly from the floor of the box portion to the height of the walls of the box portion. The corner protection members are formed of a compression resistant material that prevents any overlying containers from imposing pressure on a stack of tiles inside the first container when the stack height of the tiles inside the first container is less than the height of the corner protection members.

Various embodiments of the present disclosure provide an improved edge protector having two plies wrapped around a core and a method of manufacturing the improved edge protector.

A packaging for an object and a method of packaging the object are disclosed The packaging comprises a sealable outer box and at least one padded part for insertion into the interior of the outer box. The padded part comprises shaped cushioning parts on its periphery for supporting the padded part on the inside against the side walls of the outer box so as to be secured against displacement. The padded part also includes a recess for the precisely fitting accommodation of the packaged object. Finally, the packaging in accordance with the invention comprises a support insert that, together with the padded part, defines a packaging space for the packaged object within the outer box, wherein the support insert extends at a distance from the side walls of the outer box and forms at least part of a side wall of the packaging space.

An edge protector including a main body for installation on a box or package for protection and reinforcement. The edge protector includes first and second legs and a cover layer that extends over the outer surface of both of the first and second legs. An attachment portion of the cover layer extends over the outer edge of each leg and is retained along an inner surface of the leg on a release liner. During use, the attachment portions are both released from the release liner on the inner surface of the first and second legs such that an adhesive on the attachment portion can be used to attach the edge protector to a package or product.

An item protection device protects the item during shipping, movement or installation. In one embodiment, the item may be a window unit whose corners are protected during shipping, movement or installation. The item protection device may have a locking mechanism that securely locks the item protection device to the item so that the item protection device is not easily knocked off of the item during shipping, movement or installation.
